Fun cookbook with all your favorite Disney snacks. I really liked the maps of all the Disneyland kingdoms .

I'm so happy that I got to read this book! It's my favorite cookbook ever! I love Disney and all the park foods and I can't wait to try them at home! This book is beautiful and the recipes look very similar to what we see at the parks. I'm just so excited about this book and how nice it is! It's well organized and each recipe tells you where you can find it at the park which is so cool! I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

This was so much fun to read! The recipes are easy to follow and I enjoyed reading the history, can’t wait to go back to Disney World and experience the snacks again. Thank you to Adams Media and NetGalley for a gifted copy. This is my honest review.

I really liked this cookbook! The recipes take me back!
One of the things I immediately look for in a cookbook when deciding if I want to purchase it is the ingredients lists. I scan a few recipes and see what the ingredients are. If they are often found in my pantry, I tend to purchase the cookbook. But if there are ingredients that I haven’t heard of, or don’t generally buy at the store, I return the book to the shelf. As much as I’d like to think I’m an awesome chef, I’m not, lol. I need cookbooks with regular recipes, so when I first saw this book, I thought, “oh man, I wish I could make things from that cookbook! I love Disney!” When I took a look through the recipes, I was surprised to see that it passed my ingredients test. There are plenty of recipes in here that I can make using what I have at home, and even some that I could try if I’m feeling adventurous!
The only thing that I wish was different was how the recipes are organized. I get that they are sorted into the different parts of the theme park you’d find them in, but I almost wish there was a more traditional sort of how to find the recipes in the book. It’s not a huge deal though! I like to put little paper flags on recipes I like, so that made it easy to find ones I wanted to try out right away.
Overall I’d recommend this cookbook!

Thank you Adams Media for sharing a copy of The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook by Ashley Craft for review.
Did this cookbook come into our lives at the right time or what? My family and I came back from a Disney trip in late February, with dreams of going again soon and eating more delicious treats, and then the whole world changed. I do not know when we'll be able to travel again, let a lone make a big Disney trip so until then, we'll be safe at home making our own versions of our favourites. I already have Christmas requests to bake Jack Jack Nom Nom Cookies, some Grey Stuff and many more. I'll be busy re-creating a fun vacation memory or two.
Perfect addition to any Disney Park fan who misses planning their next vacation and wants a little bit of the parks in their own kitchen.

I absolutely adored this cookbook! I loved this collection of recipes and have marked several to try. It was like getting a tour of Disney one page at a time.
A special thank you to NetGalley and the publisher. I was given an advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

What a wonderful book. For any true Disney fan this is a joy. The recipes are simple and easy to follow and the background stories delightful.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this copy in exchange for an honest review.

My Family and I are huge Disney fans so I was very excited about this book and it does not disappoint! Filled with all the classic food and treats, this is the perfect way to bring the Disney Parks into out home. This may be my new favourite cookbook ever!

I've never been to Disney. I know I'm a total loser. However, I do have some big Disney dreams and the food is one of them.
I'm totally like a kid in my head and know that Disney food treats will totally turn me into my favorite character and I will live the bestest life ever.
In my experience though with my limited cooking skills my normal run with anything attempted to cook Disney have fell wayyyy short.
When I cracked open this sucker I was very pleasantly surprised to see that I can make some Disney food! I made the Mickey waffles this last weekend...without the Mickey Mouse ears because my cheap self is not going to buy another waffle maker. I would have posted a pic of my sucess but my family got in the way of that.
There are several delicious-ness things from this book that I plan on attempting. Bengal Beef Skewers, Mint Juleps, Sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwiches, turkey legs (If I can find some of those suckers), Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Mickey waffles and Mr. Kamals seasoned fries. My only problem is I'm on a diet and all these recipes will go straight to my butt.
I am going to do it anyways so my family should be prepared for my amazingness!! PS If you can't tell I think this is a total fun cookbook. I would have liked a few more photos of the finished products and some healthier choosing but I'm still liking the heck out of it.
I have no clue why my gifs are not working either. *insert angry face*
Booksource: Netgalley in exchange for review.

This is a decent read with some interesting park food (including dole whip) but nothing that enticed me to want to try making it. I think a book about the park needs waaay more photos, thats what i enjoy from this type of book. It could still lead to a fun day with your family while watching paired Disney classics while it is challenging to get to the parks during the pandemic.

I was given a kindle version of this cookbook from Adam’s Media for a candid honest review. I liked preface at the start to let us know Mrs. Craft’s background and relationship with The Walt Disney Parks. It seemed to set up the book nicely. After the preface Mrs. Craft gives a short breakdown of all six parks in the United States. While some of the information is well know to Disney fans, I thought it was a nice concise introduction to each park. The second chapter goes over all the possible kitchen tools you might need for the recipes. While most people won’t have all these tool, I think it is a nice reference guide, especially for people less versed in the kitchen. I like how the recipes are organized by park, that way if you are looking to recreate something for a park visit you know where to look. It also contains a map which allows you to view where within each park the recipe hails from.
Each recipe starts with Mrs. Kraft giving a nice paragraph or two breakdown of the establishment that produces each recipe and a little bit about item itself. At the end of a number of the recipes there are did you know segments that provide an extra tidbit of information or a mix it up note of other things to try with the recipe. Mrs Kraft also includes a few cooking tips such as how to bring eggs to room temperature quickly. I did like all these different hits at the end of the recipes, but it did seem a little random on what recipes had the extra knowledge and which ones didn’t.
I did find a few of the recipes left me wanting more. An example would be the caramel apples. I mean do we need need a recipe on how to make caramel apples. Another would be the Croissant Doughnuts which is basically fried packaged biscuits. The other thing I found lacking was pictures. People love to see what they are eating. I am hoping the lack of pictures is due to the fact that I received an advance copy. Hopefully the final version has lots of colorful pictures. The recipes seem to draw heavily on sweets in the parks (especially Epcot) so if you are looking for a lot of meals to make with this cookbook, you will be left wanting more. I know three daughters did not seems to mind the heavy emphasis on the sweets.
Overall this is a good cookbook. I’d rate it a little higher if you are a big fan of The Mouse or really into sweets. It will appeal to adults and children alike. During this time of pandemic and lockdown, it is a nice way to take a trip without leaving your kitchen.

This is an extremely comprehensive cookbook for all the Disney Parks. Not just Disneyland, but Epcot, California Adventure, Animal Kingdom, etc. I’ve been to all of these but had no idea there were so many options and that there are pumpkin spice churros and raspberry rose Mickey macarons?? The only complaint I do have is I wish there were more pictures.

This book is like a childhood dream come true! I didn’t buy many cookbooks anymore because I never use them, but this is one I just might need to own! Full of many childhood Disney favorite treats, and lots of new treats that look amazing!! Many of the recipes look pretty easy to make.

A super fun, magical book with so many delicious recipes! The thing I love most about it is how it allows me to have a bit of the magic of Disney right in my very own kitchen. Great for adults and children alike.

This cookbook is magical!
I love Disney! But living in the Midwest I've only been to Disney World three times; once when I was 10, once in high school and once about three years ago as an adult. The parks are so magical and being there as an adult without kids is just as magical as being there as a kid. That said, I've never been to Disneyland.
Not having been but a few times I'm not completely familiar with the food and treats that are in the park, at least not taste wise.
I follow a good number of Disney inspired content creators and ALL of them talk about the food and seasonal treats! So I am at least slightly familiar with a good chunk of sweets around the parks.
This book has so many recipes that I don't know where I'm going to start! I bookmarked so many that I want to try!
For the most part, this book gives very clear instructions and background information on each recipe! There are a few that I looked at that I probably won't ever attempt though. Some just seem like they would take a lot of time and effort.
It's also important to note that some of these recipes require equipment that may not be in every household: ice cream maker, shaved ice maker, pressure cooker, and a steamer basket. While I do have an ice cream maker (yay! Dole Whip here I come!) I don't have the others and probably won't ever make those recipes.
Top 3 things I'm most excited to try out:
The Grey Stuff - Beauty and the Beast will probably always be my number one! So of course I'm interested in the grey stuff, I hear it's delicious! When we went a few years ago I wanted to eat at the restaurant that has this, but we didn't have a reservation and didn't have the time. There are two versions of this recipe, one for each park.
LeFou's Brew - Another thing I wanted to try three years ago! I had gone into Gaston's Tavern and ordered this, but they were out. Very disappointed cause it sounds delicious and I can't wait to get the ingredients to try it out!
Dole Whip - Duh?
It seems like most the recipes in this book are sweets, which makes sense since a lot of the treats in the parks are sweets. I'm very excited to try some of the non sweets as well. There's this Mac n Cheese with pulled pork I've got my eye on. Also a handful of fun popcorn recipes!
Overall, this book has everything! If you're a fan of the food at the parks this is a fun cookbook to have! Would make the perfect Christmas gift too! I can't wait to actually dig in and make some of these!

I absolutely loved this. I will definitely be buying it when it is published. The colors, the pictures, the thorough recipes and the magic. Some of it is difficult to immolate but Ashley Craft really makes it as easy as possible. This would make an excellent gift for your favorite Disney lover!

Whether or not you grew up eating these delicious treats from Disney Parks, you want this awesome cookbook! The recipes are the real deal and show you how to replicate some of the most loved recipes, from savory to sweet. The recipes are easy to follow, and none feel cumbersome to make. I like that it includes equipment needed to create these treats, as most, but not all, are common household kitchen tools. The only thing that would have made this book better was a picture of every single recipe. I definitely recommend this cookbook for all fans of Disney treats.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own, freely given.

For someone who misses Disney, what a wonderful read! I would happily buy this for someone else, especially as a Christmas gift! The recipes are wonderful and east to follow and it is also stunning in print, I am sure. The kindle version was a bit odd in formatting, but I hope to buy the cookbook in paper form when it comes out since it would be a wonderful addition to my collection:)

As a former Disney Annual Passholder, I am missing out on my Disney fix these days. I heard about this cookbook and I was eager to preview it!
The cookbook features specialties and treats sorted by each WDW theme park including Disneyland and California Adventure.
Besides Mickey Waffles and Dole Whips, some recipes that I'm eager to attempt include Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshakes, Raspberry Rose Mickey Macarons, Blue Milk, and LeFou's Brew.
This Disneyphile author and former cast member has been featuring her WDW inspired treats on her popular blog for years and decided to compile them all into a cookbook which will be released on Nov 10th! Great Christmas gift idea! Thanks to Ashley Craft and Simon & Schuster for a digital preview copy of this book!

Everything about this book was great--this would make the perfect gift for any Disney fan. Craft uses her love of the company and knowledge from internships to provide a well rounded selection of recipes and introduction to the history of food in "The World." I'm not surprised at all to learn just how busy Cosmic Ray's is.
The cover and inside graphics were perfect and I especially loved that the recipes were organized at the beginning of each section like a Disney Parks map. Craft includes popular recipes from each of the American parks (including churros, School Bread, Mickey pretzels, and Dole Whips (!)), with easy to follow recipes that include ingredients and supplies that most will already have on hand (I may just have to invest in an ice cream machine for those Dole Whips...)
My only complaint? I wish the book included EVERY Disney recipe. All kidding aside, because I know that's just impossible--this is a must have for anyone missing Disney restaurants right now. I can't wait to try these recipes and feature this book on Bookstagram. And I can't wait to get my hands on a finished copy.
Special thanks to NetGalley, Abrams Media, and Ashley Craft for giving me the opportunity to read this for review. This one was a privilege.
