This was an interesting read with guidance on a variety of topics from a variety of goddesses from different countries around the world. The chapters are just a little bit short. I would have loved to have more in depth material.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This book gave me the basic rundown of several goddess from all over the world and spanning several cultures. My favorite part were the affirmations for each goddess at the end of their section. I got some information that I did not have before. I have included some of this information in my journaling process so I keep the goddesses that I have connection with close at hand. This book was lovely and something I can go back to if I need a gentle reminder of the feminine power they hold.

As someone who works with Goddess, I truly enjoyed this read. It's easy to digest and perfect for the beginner practitioner (she breaks down the various goddesses by association) and for the experienced practitioner alike. I will definitely be referencing it in the future. Thank you so much for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I love this book dearly! I believe it's a must have and a must read for anyone working with the Goddesses or wanting to get closer to them.

At times I felt this is an incredible resource, at times I felt it was a bit incomplete.
What it surely is is a glossary of various Goddesses, some well known, others not so much, all selected to help the reader in all kinds of situations, some mundane, some very important.
It first presents the issue, than how the Goddess can help, a little information about Her, then some exercises and practices and it ends with a quote/ affirmation to bring more of that Goddess energy into ones life.

Why I felt it was incomplete - it was the fact that it took 1 single trait of a Goddess and developed an entire small chapter around it. For me, for Mary Magdalene or Persephone this felt so little, so small and different than my personal take. But, in truth, and for the purpose of the book, this is a great idea to help the reader get closer to each Goddess, to know of Her and to get the help she needs without going too deep when the issue is urgent and very specific. After that we can all learn more about the Goddess we feel close to and go deeper with the practices.

This being said, I believe this book is invaluable for anyone no matter the level they are in this journey, it's that kind of book you keep close and you come back to time and time again. While this is the 3rd edition, I'm sure it will see many more in the future.

This was such a empowering and enlightening book to read through, I am glad I got a copy. I found that the range of Goddesses covered is very varied, which is good there's a Goddess energy to help empower every woman, no matter what situation she is facing, or stage of life she's at. For me this really was the icing on the cake. I was also really proud, and in a way very happy to see that the author had accurately described and written about African Goddesses, from my own culture. Often times when I have read books like this and they are included, ( as they are the two most celebrated Goddesses around the world from the culture), the authors have gotten facts wrong, that could have been cleared up with a bit more research into the African Goddesses. So Kudos to the author!!

I recommend this book to all women around the world, no matter their age, race, background, or situation. There is a Goddess, ritual, meditation, and exercise for you to help move forward and achieve your goals. My only wish is that there was a bit more variety on the actual rituals or exercises themselves, that said there are two Goddess here that seemed to resonate with what I am currently hoping for in life! So of course I will follow up on the author's recommendations, to see me through. The book is also not written from a 'religious' point of view either and I loved this, I loved the fact that the author has not tried to force traditional religion on readers, and it's appealing to all no matter where you stand with traditional religion. 4 wonderful stars.

This is a wonderful book for those looking to add a little more feminine power to their spiritual practice. As a newer pagan, I have struggled with figuring out who to call upon during spell work and meditations. I just never knew enough about any particular goddess to feel a strong connection. The Goddess Pages by Laurie Sue Brockway was exactly what I needed! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed learning the backstories of so many powerful goddesses and now feel like I have a stronger connection with both my own femininity and the feminine energies in the universe. This book goes beyond just giving the history for a wide array of goddesses and also provides rituals, meditations, incantations, etc. that you can use to help connect with each one. The author is very respectful of all cultures and her selection of goddesses to include provide a diverse portrayal of strong women from a variety of world religions and cultures. I think anyone who is interested in learning more about connecting with some badass goddesses will love this book!

What a wonderful and diverse book of goddesses. I am always on the lookout for books that have information on Lilith and was delighted to find She was included in this book. The affirmation for Her is, “Treat me like the goddess I am.”
The book is divided into six parts:

Part 1: Eve
Part 2: Goddesses of Self-Empowerment and Strength
Part 3: Goddesses of Love and Romance
Part 4: Goddesses of Family Life and Friendship
Part 5: Goddesses of Work and Finances
Part 6: Goddesses of Play and Lightheartedness

Each entry has a bit of information on the goddess, how to invite Her into your life, and suggestions to continue working with Her. The author does a good job with researching and including lesser known goddesses. I even learned more about Aurora, my namesake. The affirmation for Aurora is powerful to me, “I travel my true path.”

I recommend this book to any Goddess worshiper or anyone looking for more information on an individual goddess.

As the author acknowledges and hopes for “third time lucky”, this is the third edition of this book with its third publisher. This time it’s a well packaged useable guide to Goddesses from differing cultures. The book kicks off with Eve and despite encouraging an eclectic spirituality the author refers to readers from a more Christian perspective, as the “daughters of Eve”. This is certainly not how I identify and I was not convinced about her writings on Eve or the idea of reclamation. However for those wanting a quick go to and how to implement Goddess worship for a variety of outcomes I would recommend this book.
