Everyday Wisdom to Satisfy Your Soul by Pamela L. McQuade is a devotional with 90 devotions that encourage to find satisfaction in Jesus. Every devotion begins with a Scripture and then reflects on that in the devotion. These devotions were short and sweet but I found that I didn't get too much out of these devotions. The devotions were quick to read but it was mostly that.

Exactly what I need! A reminder on how God loves me beyond measure, to sustain me during "nobody cares" moments. A nudge that I need each time I feel satisfied with my work. A gentle warning to keep my path straight and my focus on point. And with no date, I can read any page I like whenever I need it!

A good collection of ninety devotionals. Well set up. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.

Are you satisfied? The intro does an excellent job of setting up this book by asking two questions: What is a satisfied soul, and Do I really want one? An important distinction is made between self-satisfied and a satisfied soul. Only when we find our satisfaction in Jesus alone can we truly answer these questions. This devotional has 90 entries meant to guide you into a self-reflection and encouragement to find your satisfaction in Jesus alone. The entries are about two pages long and pull from everyday life experiences. This book would make a good reflection guide for groups or individual study. There is a Scripture Index provided as well. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own, freely given.
