I love Suzanne Enoch’s books! And I loved this one too! Love the main characters Coll and Persephone. Great dialogue and fun fast paced storyline . A must read!

Not my cup. The writing was excellent but the love story was not to my taste. I didn't care for either of the main characters and wasn't invested in the romance. This is perfect for readers who love fluffy romance.

When Coll's estranged mother tells her three Scottish sons they must come to London and marry English women if they want money to run their ancestral home she wasn't expecting Coll to choose an actress! He met famous actress Persephone and felt instant lust. Let his mother think he wanted to marry her, that will upset her so much she'll get off his back for awhile. He wasn't expecting to fall in love. But there's even more trouble. Someone is trying to kill Persephone. When he learns her secrets, he's determined to protect her. I'm also glad Coll punched Mathew from book 2. He deserved it! This is a fun entry to the series.

This book had an interesting premise grounded in historical themes like the pressure to find a spouse, but with modern concepts (she's an actress and very independent). Ultimately, I wasn't able to get into this book because the pacing felt slow and I couldn't sustain interest.

Really enjoyed this one, but it's getting just 3 stars because the heroine's actions just don't click at some points (could be because they happen when we're not seeing her POV - case in point: first sex scene happened out of the blue, it read like). Loved Coll's character, and even though I haven't read the first 2 books in this trilogy, I didn't find myself lost and actually enjoyed reading this one as it gave a conclusion to the whole series and that was rather nice to find, like a big wrap up when nearing the end.
Didn't find Persephone all that engaging throughout, to be honest, but Coll's character more than made up for it - loved reading this Highlander's POV and might just have fallen in love with Highland heroes once again

I enjoyed this highlander historical romance with all of the characters. The two main characters were Lady Persephone Jones and Coll MacTraggert.

Lady Persephone Jones is an famous, wealthy, independent and smart. She not interested in marriage to any man that has came by to see her. She likes being a famous actress. Plus there is a secret that she has. But when a highlander comes around things might change a little for her.

Coll MacTraggert is the Viscount Glendarril and a highlander to. His mother want him to find a wife among the ton. But so far no one has caught his attention. But while at the theatre with his family his mother try again to get him to pay attention on the young lady's of the ton. He gets mad a leaves but while walking out he see a man at door to the back of the theatre. After being let in the back of the theatre he see all the actors and one catches his eyes.

This was a fun story to read. It had action, suspense, and drama throughout. It had a few giggles within.

I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

Oh, I truly love this series – it’s so funny and cute! This is probably my least favourite of the three, as Coll is not quite as humorous a character as his brothers, but it’s still a very strong, very romantic read that really nails the emotional beats while still being entertaining as hell. I love the clashes between the leads and the banter, and it’s a really satisfying end to the series.

Man, no one ever wants to tell their mom that she is right, especially when the relationship is complicated. But she was right. That's all there is to it.

There's just something about a tartan-wearing Scot, isn't there? Maybe it's that popular series we all know and love, but I'm drawn to historical romances involving that particular trope. Sometimes it works out for me and sometimes not. As for Hit Me with Your Best Scot, I'm afraid it leans more toward not than hot. I think the biggest problem for me was the pace. The story moves too slowly for my tastes. There were just too many lags to hold my interest and I ended up laying it aside for something more exciting. I finally did finish, and I liked the characters - liked, not loved - but I'm undecided on whether or not I'll continue with this series.

Sexy, seduction and oh so good!!
I have loved Suzanne Enoch's books for years, loving each one I read and yet it seems to be missing that all-so-important magic which I have loved in the past from this author. I can't put my finger on it but there is something missing, It's still entertaining, it's sexy and intriguing and full of romance and banter I can't fault the story or the characters but something felt a little off. Maybe it was me and had nothing to do with the book at all?
Either way, I did enjoy it, but it's not one of my favourites!

Highly entertaining, exciting and action-packed adventure filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and emotionally thrilling turns. An edge of your seat adventure that I really enjoyed from beginning to end.

Wow. This was my first book from this author and I am addicted. Wonderful writing, great characters and witty banter. Not to mention sizzling romance. Loved it.

I really enjoyed the other books in the series. I had such a hard time getting into this one. The dialect was hard to follow, which is understandable giving how Scottish he was, but it was so much work to follow what was going on. I made it about 25% through before I had to give up.

I love a good Scot. I also love the bodyguard trope. This book delivered a handsome, stubborn, protective alpha bodyguard in the form of Coll MacTaggart.

Coll wants to find a wife ok his own terms. His mother however has given him an ultimatum to marry before his sister (in 4 weeks). What's a man to do?

Persephone Jones wants to walk the boards of her theater company and be left alone. She is her own independent and self-made woman. Men are nice in passing, not for keeping. Someone is trying to kill her.

Coll and Persephone battle wits beautifully. Their word play and interactions are well written and fun and real. Coll let's her be herself and challenges her in gentle ways. Unless she's putting herself in danger, and then the mountain of a man is not budging.

I was pleasantly surprised by the intimate scenes. They are detailed enough without taking over the book's plot.

Well worth the read. As it is the third in the series, it does well as a stand alone. I will likely go back and read the other two, but it was not necessary to enjoy the book.

I love Scottish heroes for the sole reasons of their abundance in honor and that Scottish burr. I loved every bit of Hit Me With Your Best Scot (I love these titles with my whole heart, by the way, in case Ms. Enoch needs to know that I'd sell my life for a witty title like that for my own life...)

Let's start with a disclaimer: I haven't read any of the previous books in this series but this fact did not impede my enjoyment of the third (and the last) book of the trilogy. Matter of fact, it made me hop onto Scribd and download the audiobooks, because I want to read Aden's and Niall's books. (They sound absolutely amazing and I KNOW my beloved Coll is going to be a hoot in them!)

Speaking of Coll: Can we please have a round of applause for heroes who actually have believable backstories and tender hearts? I'm tired of stone-cold heroes who boss around their lady and pretend it's all because of their tragic past. We do not excuse horrid behavior here, and my man Coll MacTaggert will be first in line to hand that hero a punch in the face, as he showcases in this book, several time. And every time he did it, I swooned and swooned and swooned. Almost as many times as he purred sweet things at Persephone or WHISKED her off her feet.

Speaking of my lady Persephone, let's give you a little about her: She's a woman with a past, for sure. She knows what she wants and how to get it and the precautions she'll need to secure to keep it. I loved how witty she is. How glorious. How everyone around her adored her, including her employees and cat (HADES? I LOVE YOUR NAMING SYSTEM, AUTHOR!!! ILY<3) and Coll joining the adoring crowd was only a matter of time.

I loved their first meeting, Coll seeing her as who she really is and not one of the many women she plays on the stage. That he punches a man for her honor then she goes and nearly tears someone's throat out in defense of him. It just...hit me in the chest (with their best scot?! No? Oh, well.)

Anyway, pick this up, now! Start reading more compassionate Scottish romances. Start reading stuff that defies the genre!

Ever since I read my first book by this author, she has been an auto-purchase for me, so I was THRILLED to get this arc to review!

The story is clever, the characters are engaging, and the romance is steamy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes some intrigue and strong chemistry between the main characters. I would definitely recommend!

This was my first book by this author, and I was honestly pretty underwhelmed. The whole story felt a bit slow, and even by the end I felt like nothing had really happened. In the beginning I felt like I was playing catchup to events that happened in the previous two books in the series; it was eventually explained enough, but it took a bit to get everything answered.

Any possibility of tension between Persie and Coll disappeared too quickly; I felt like Persie went from not planning to have anything to do with Coll, romantically speaking, to starting a physical relationship in the blink of an eye. I never felt like we got a good understanding of why she changed her mind. And from there, I just didn't get enough from their relationship to really be invested in any outcome.

I really enjoyed and appreciated how well the two main characters communicate in this novel. These two just fit. I would have liked to have seen a bit more work done on the resolution between the men and their mother but the romance itself was very satisfying.

This is book 3 of the Wild Wicked Highlanders Series. Coll MacTaggert has been told to find a wife and get married, or lose the land that he loves. Persephone Jones doesn't know exactly what she ants, but she knows she has to stay alive, so when Coll helps helps her, will she lose her heart in the bargain?
