4.5-5 Stars!! This was yet another great book by Suzanne Enoch!! The entire series ‘Wild Wicked Highlanders’ has been memorable! I’ve loved every book. I highly recommend any book in this series & very highly recommend reading ALL of them. They can be read as a standalone but I think it’s best to read them all, in order. I’m not sure if there is going to be more in this series but I hope so. I want to know what happens to the MacTaggerts & this book didn’t have an epilogue, so fingers crossed! This book has it all - mystery, romance, sexy times, heroic actions & a strong female main character! Coll & Persephone were great main characters. And this was an amazing book. I still have a few unanswered questions and I’d love another book or novella to wrap it all up! Either way, I HIGHLY recommend this book & the other 2 books in the series!
*I am voluntarily leaving a review for an ARC that was provided to me by NetGalley!*

I really loved this one. It was a fast read for me, I just couldn’t put it down. I must say I enjoyed reading the family dynamic with Coll and his brothers & Persie and Flora and Gregory. Plus Hades is my kinda fella. Persie is a strong woman who plays strong women and that’s a woman every man needs by his side.

Thanks to NetGalley for a arc copy for a honest review.

First of all let’s talk about how gorgeous this cover is... I know they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but WOW!! Hit With Your Best Scot was so much fun to read. I loved the whole series, I give this book 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Happy Reading

I usually love a good historical novel with Scottish Highland romance, but this one didn't quite hit the mark. I enjoyed the characters and the main plot of the book, but it kind of felt like there was no spark between the main love interest.

Really good read! Coll is awesome! This is the first in the series I've read but its easy to get into. The characters are wonderful and easy to love. The story is cute and sexy. Really entertaining.

This is a well written story but it needs more spark. This read like a paint by numbers story, I understand it's the last in the series so maybe everyone was just exhausted and racing to the finish line. I didn't feel the chemistry between Coll and Persphone and I thought there was too much focus on the family instead of their romance.

5 Word Review: Love, responsibility, scandal, family, secrets.

Earlier this year I got the chance to read Scot Under The Covers, the second of the Wild Wicked Highlanders books. While I have somehow still not got around to read the first book, It's Getting Scot In Here, I jumped at the chance to read the third book.

There is something about the MacTaggert's that draws you in like a magnet. They're wild and witty and I just want to swoon at the lot of them. They're big and brawny and fiercely loyal, and they remind of kittens almost in how caring and gentle they can be.

I liked how this story played around with the fact that Persephone was an actress and Coll pretty much always puts on a dumb highlander act. It was clever and funny to watch play out, and I love how both of them defied expectations. It was fantastic fun. There are secrets and hidden identities and a would-be murderer hiding away, and it all makes for a pretty exhilarating read.

If you're looking for a masquerade ball to tick off for Romance Book Bingo, then look no further, as Hit Me With Your Best Scot has a pretty tense and exciting one near the end.

Now that I know Coll and Aden's stories in full, I can't wait to go back and read about Niall, even if I know the gist of what happens from the two books that I have read. Suzanne Enoch is definitely a romance author to look out for if you love passion that make you want to swoon.

I loved this series! I think they saved the best MacTaggert brother for last. This is the story of the eldest and heir, Coll, who refuses to let his English mother pick his wife for him. When he falls for an actress, Persie, his family gets worried. Coll is a true hero who protects Persie by saving her life several times. Coll doesn’t care what anyone else thinks, he just goes for what he wants. I received an ARC from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for my honest review.

Another enjoyable read by Ms. Enoch! The last MacTaggert brother, Coll, has yet to be ensnared by any woman, despite everything his mother has thrown at him. Coll already has the reputation around London, for he says what he means and has no problem fighting. He is rather direct and meets his match with Persephone Jones, an actress. Persephone has many admirers, but has not let anyone in. She is witty, smart, stubborn, and Coll sees her for who she is, not as an actress playing a role in a play. Coll loves to aggravate his mother and decides that Persephone will help him, Persephone has her own troubles, so it becomes a mutual bargain. The attraction blazes between them, neither denying nor fighting it. But Coll cannot marry a commoner and Persephone enjoys the stage. But the heart wants what the heart wants and both will have an uphill battle with themselves and society. An enjoyable conclusion to the series!
I received this novel from net galley and the publisher as an ARC. Thank you! all thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the third book in the Highland series. I have not read all of them, but this one can stand alone. Coll McTaggart is the eldest son whose must marry to retain his fortune. As a hot-headed Scott, Coll is not about to let his English mother pick a wife for him. He is leaving the theater where is ambushed by his mother. He recues Persephone Jones from a bad situation. The story goes from there. I really enjoyed this installment. The writing was fresh, and I loved seeing a few of the characters I had met in former books. I thought the secondary characters really made the book.
Thank you, Net Galley, for an advanced copy for an honest review

Coll McTaggert is the last of the brothers who needs a wife before his sister marries. If not, his mother withdraws all funding for the Scottish home. He only has 27 days left and he can't find anyone he can carry on a conversation with let alone marry. One night at the theater he meets Mrs. Jones, an actress. He defends her honor and becomes her protector. To annoy his mother he claims that he will marry Mrs. Jones. Soon he and Mrs. Jones are involved in the mystery of who is trying to kill her. In the course of their investigation Coll finds out that Mrs. Jones is not who she seems to be. Coll and Persephone find love but can they overcome the many obstacles in their way? A great story and ending to this series. Truly enjoyable as was the whole series.

4.5 stars

I’ve been super curious who could entice Coll to bond himself in the chains of matrimony, but I never planned on someone like Persie!! I loved her! She gives as good as she gets and I loved how she could blunt Coll’s sharp edges, whether it was socially, privately, or intimately. These two fit like peas in a pod and the upcoming battle with gaining family-ahem, mainly parental-acceptance left me with big expectations...happily, I felt Enoch delivered in spades.

I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley/St. Martins and this is my honest review.

I Love a sexy Scottish Highlander!!

Coll McTaggert is being forced to marry or loose his family estate.

“Because you are as stubborn as the rain, and because I don’t think you generally do anything you’ve been ordered to do.”

Persephone Jones is not interested in marriage. She is strong and independent.

Coll MacTaggert, Persephone Jones reflected, could have been mistaken for a mountain, if mountains were made of muscle and bone and were possessed of a very attractive, if severe, face softened by a deep Scottish brogue.

This is a sexy romp with a little mystery and a lot of protective Scotsman.

Hit Me With Your Best Scot is a magnificent historical romance by Suzanne Enoch. Ms. Enoch has provided readers with a well-written book populated with spectacular characters. Coll and his brothers were forced to go to London to find English brides by their mother that they haven't seen for years. His brothers have found their women but Coll is still angry and lets his attitude show. Persephone Jones is an actress and Coll is using her to drive his mother crazy when strange things start happening to her. Scary things. Persephone and Coll's story is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to reading more from Suzanne Enoch in the future. Hit Me With Your Best Scot is book 3 of the Wild Wicked Highlanders Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. Now I'm going to look for the 6 star button!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved, Loved, this book! Coll, the stalwart Laird has to find a wife! He doesn’t want one, but because of a situation that he had no control over, he has 3 weeks to woo and wed a lass! He doesn’t want just any type of normal debutante English girl , he wants a woman who will be willing to stay in England and give him his heirs and that’s it!

Persephone Jones has a secret, but she is a famous actress on the stage. When Coll sees her, he is immediately attracted to her, but wants to just bed her. She wants no husband and no protector. However, things start to change and Coll and Persephone are now placed together and getting to know one another and Coll wants her as his wife!

Twists and turns abound in this book that you won’t see coming and secrets will unfold for both of them!

I would definitely recommend this book!

I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

What an entertaining story! Three brothers from Scotland are in London. Their mother’s money supports their clan in the Highlands and to keep that funding, they all must find English brides. This story focuses on the oldest, Col. He fights his mother’s attempts to find him a suitable match, declaring in the opening paragraph that he’d “ find his own damn wife!” This sets the tone for the rest of the story. Col avoids the young, proper debutants and instead, finds himself attracted to a most unsuitable actress. Romance and intrigue ensue! This is a wonderful, fun story and held my attention on so many levels. I highly recommend reading it.

Loved this book! This opens with Coll escaping his mother's matchmaking attempts at the theater, only to find himself transfixed by the lead actress. His mother considers her unsuitable, by Coll doesn't care. When attempts are made on her life, he becomes her protector, and learns that his actress has secrets of her own.

I loved their romance and the mystery that kept them struggling to stay a step ahead of the would be murderer.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. Put it at the top of your TBR list - you'll be glad you did.

Coll MacTaggert has to marry in 4 weeks. Persephone Jones is the actress he tells his mother he is going to marry. Coll is frustrated that she keeps putting young ladies in his path. He sees Persephone on the stage and sees the woman she is hiding. Yet someone is out to kill her. Coll must gain her trust to keep her alive. Also he is on a deadline marry per his mother wishes.

Persephone has been running from her past for 8 years now it has caught her and wants her dead. She has been alone all that time and must trust to find out who wants to kill her. As Coll and Persephone learn to trust each other they find love beyond what is proper. Now they both have choices to make to be together. Coll and Persephone were very delightful together, they have a funny charisma and are delightful. With the help of the Osewll-MacTaggert family they are set to find who wants Persephone dead. I Recommend this book .

I love every Suzanne Enoch book and Hit Me With Your Best Scot did not let me down. Every plot twist and turn was so well done and very clever. Coll MacTaggert and Persephone Jones are perfect for each other. The banter was excellent and the chemistry between them sizzled! Overall, this is a quick lighthearted read, that will not disappoint!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in in exchange for an honest review.

This was the perfect end to these brothers. There were several aspects that I particularly liked, not least of which being how well the characters all worked together.
