I think this book covers a fascinating topic and one that isn’t talked about much in the spiritual or metaphysical book scene. When I was reading this I feel like I really learned a lot about intuition and how to tap into it, I love how it was written and how easy it is to read and understand. I think this book will be highly beneficial for anyone looking into the subject because of the way it’s written and how easy it is to read and get through it apply to real life.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I was not sure why when I first saw this book why it called to me, but once I had it and started reading it and using the prompts. There was something in me that seem to awaken to a new way of looking at myself. It is something that I needed at this time in my life. I will continue to go back to the practices and prompts as I need them. It is helping get a better understand of the inner me which I have ignored for far too longer. It helped me get out of that kind of stuck feeling I have been having in the last few months.

As someone who never listens to their intuition this was a great book. I would recommend this to anyone who needs help with self trust.

Thank you to the Publisher and Netgalley for the advanced e-reader copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

"Make Room For Magic"
The Call of Intuition is an uplifting, practical book about living a fuller, more connected life. Filled with a wealth of practices, meditations, and advice, Kris Franken meets you where you are and gently guides you through a wide variety of concepts and techniques designed to allow your interior spiritual dust to settle so that you can begin to have a more direct, conscious experience of your intuition.

After guiding you through reading learning how to experience your intuition, the remainder of the book is dedicated to practices and approaches to help you build trust in your intuition and to use it as a guide to creating the life that will best serve you both physically and spiritually.

Everything about this book is uplifting and affirming. I always looked forward to picking this book up again because reading it is like having a conversation with a with a really good friend about how to "make room for magic," as she says, and to stand on your own feet.

This is a wonderful book for the tumultuous world in which we all now live. Early on, the author states that learning how to breath again is central to the process of discovering your intuition. She proceeds to provide several practices for connecting with your breath. Connecting with your intuition is more important now than ever as we all struggle to stay grounded. This book is a great place to start (or even continue) your journey.

Very uplifting book with some excellent recommendations on how you can approve spiritual development by listening to your intuition and add to that instinct and insight. There is a clear distinction between them and yet they are working together in a cycle which brings you to your Higher Self. In later chapters, we have a beautiful elaboration about the main steps of one's attunement with universal awareness which lead you even to contact famous archangels (btw provided colors for archangels are just one option). In a few places, the text would be welcomed with more detailed information. Also, a few pieces of advice that if methods from the book fail then one should contact professional healers are a little disappointing. Overall this is a nice book with fine tips for intuitive and more fully living. Thanks.

The formatting on my copy was a bit off so at times this was hard to follow but that's no fault of the author. I simply mention it as it may have affected how I responded to this book. I'm sure I missed some content simply because I skipped over some of the information due to the formatting issues.

That said what I did get out of it was a lot of helpful information and rather inspiring journal prompts all in an attempt to get to know myself and my inner intuition better. There is a lot to be obtained through this book. Ideas about psychology, mindfulness, prayer, meditation, various divination tools (tarot for example), and how to utilize these tools to get to know yourself better and to understand your instincts and trust your intuition. (I should note the divination techniques mentioned here are more about learning to understand motivations, archetypes, and trusting that inner voice rather than the sort of fortune teller stuff one might think of. )

This book also backs up all of this with facts of a scientific nature (for example how stress affects your body and how meditation affects your mind.) The above-mentioned journal prompts are probably my biggest take away here. A lot of strong questions to reflect on, many with a focus that I had not considered before.

I'd recommend this title to anyone interested in looking into their intuition and learning about who they really are.
