Fascinating, thrilling and imposible to put down, I loved everything about this story.
A fast-paced thriller, with great characters and an extremely clever plot that will keep you at the edge of your seat.
My favorite parts of the story were the scenes in Africa, I was completely captivated by them.
This is the second book in a series but can be read as a standalone.

Thank you NetGalley , Blackstone Publishing and Brian Nelson Author for this ARC.

This book could take place in the near future. Mankind creates nanobots and stupidly feels they can control the nanobots. It's a great book and I really enjoyed reading Nelson's novel.

This is a well written sequel to the Last Sword Maker. I don't typically read science fiction type books but for this author I happily dive in. It is a story set in the future about the US and China facing off trying to use advanced technology and AI to advance their goals and rule the world. Eric Hill, one of the leading scientists that helped the US get the discovery first crashes in a remote area in Africa. He is taken in but the tribe that lives there and here is where the story takes off. The tribe is cut off by choice from technology and society and are struggling to survive with their way of life. I don't want to ruin the plot but it is a really good book and I hope to read more from the author in the future. The science is a little out there but feels plausible to be real sometime in the near future.
Thank you Netgalley, Brian Nelson and Blackstone Publishing for the ARC for my honest review.
