Sorry for the delay in reviewing this book! I read it and completely forgot to send a review. It''s a heartwarming book and a book of hope and love. Read her earlier books first.

The third in a series of books about Carol Denman aka Caroline, as she navigates her way through the loss of her loved ones. In this book, Carol comes to terms with the fact that she is dealing with more than grief. She has a complex mental health condition stemming from her childhood. She feels the darkness threatening to engulf her. But despite retreating, the friends and family she has around her, refuse to let her suffer in silence. Encouraging her to access therapy, to talk and to allow herself to believe she deserves happiness, she begins to truly heal herself. And even to open her heart again.

Incredibly moving, beautifully written and filled with wonderful characters, this was a joy to read.

This is the third book in the Life Without Water series but can be read as a standalone. It is a very emotional read and have your kleenex ready for this one! With that being said, all three books are part of my all-time favorite books to read! You won't regret picking this one or all three up to add to your TBR list.

EXCERPT: Judith couldn't quite understand why her daughter chose to sell almost everything she owned to live full-time in an RV. Sometimes, Carol secretly wondered why too, but she couldn't bring herself to fully admit that she'd started to doubt the decisions she'd made in the last six months. In all honesty, Carol was starting to question every decision she'd made over the past year since she'd been widowed.

She missed her house. Up until she'd sold it, she could pretend that Tobias wasn't gone. She could, somewhere in the back of her mind, tell herself he was on a trip or working late. She could act like her life hadn't been upended. She could sit at the little table in his garden, sipping her wine and reliving the many times she'd watched him tend his flowers.

The downside of that was the heart-stopping recollection she'd have when reality set in and she'd remember Tobias was dead. Not on a trip. Not working late. He was gone, and he'd never come home. He'd never tend his flowers again.

ABOUT 'A LIFE WITHOUT REGRETS': Since losing her husband, Tobias, in a tragic accident, Carol Denman has been on a journey of self-growth. She’s taken steps to finally grieve her daughter’s death, forgive her first husband, and mend her broken relationship with her mother. The one heartbreak she can’t seem to come to terms with is losing her husband.

As Carol continues her travels, family, old friends, and new confidants want to help her heal. However, this is a path Carol must travel alone. She knows her husband would want her to be happy again. She just has to figure out how to move forward.

Carol must dig deep to find a way back to the peace and happiness she once had in her life with Tobias. Coming to terms with being a widow isn’t going to be easy, but with the support from her loved ones and a few strangers, Carol embarks on her most poignant journey yet—finding a life without regrets.

MY THOUGHTS: The end of the series. *sigh* I am going to miss Carol Denman. I have enjoyed my jaunts with her around the tourist spots of the USA.

The story is told from Carol's point of view in the present time and with flashbacks to different periods of her life. These flashbacks give us a deeper understanding of the traumas she has endured.

Carol has lost everything: she's lost her daughter; she's lost her husband; she's lost her way; she's lost confidence in her ability to cope. She's lost. And everyone else thinks they have the perfect map for Carol to find her way back to a fulfilling life . . .

I have become very fond of Carol over the three books in this series. She is, in her own way, a very strong person. Misguided, but strong. Not that she recognizes her strengths.

There are some wonderful characters in this book. Some we meet only briefly, like Harold who is also on the road, and widowed from his wife of fifty years. Carol's sister-in-law, Lara, who loves Carol like a sister, and her mother-in-law, and Mary, who just has to be the most wonderful mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law ever!

This is another emotional read, and the last in the series, which leads to my only disappointment - (view spoiler) I really and honestly believe there was another book there, but try as I might I just can't come up with a title for it!

Thank you Marci Bolden for sharing Carol's amazing and heartbreaking journey with us. I am sure the tissue manufacturing companies also thank you.

THE AUTHOR: THE AUTHOR: As a teen, Marci Bolden skipped over young adult books and jumped right into reading women's fiction and romance novels.

Marci lives in the Midwest with her husband, two teenaged kiddos, and numerous rescue pets. If she had an ounce of will power, Marci would embrace healthy living but until cupcakes and wine are no longer available at the local grocery store, she’ll put that ambition on hold and appease her guilt by reading self-help books and promising to join a gym “soon.”

This is my first book by this author, and what a heartfelt story! Since I hadn't read the books that came before this, I had to do a little research into the background of the main character, Carol, and the journey that brought her to this point in her life. It could still be considered a stand-alone read, but it helps to get a glimpse into Carol's past tragedies. I think this book is one many will relate to, no matter how they have lost loved ones (death, divorce, etc.)
It's a good emotional journey story of hope and perseverance.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of this book.

A Life Without Regrets
by Marci Bolden

I enjoyed the book very much. I had no clue it was part of a series .but it was heartwarming. The story shows a loss takes time, YOU OWN time. Healing from the loss of a child and husband is truly heartbreaking. Very wonderfully written.

Thank you to NetGalley, Pink Sand Press and the author, Marci Bolden for an early copy of this book for my honest review.

This whole series has been some of the best books I have ever read, and I truly enjoyed this final book in the series. The author knows how to bring grief right to the forefront, and how to help the reader feel that grief as well as also possibly help with their own healing.

The main character shows many sides of herself, in addition to the grief, such as overwhelmed, emotional, sadness and the act of closure. I truly recommend this series, and this author, as she definitely knows exactly how to pull you in and know exactly what she is hoping to portray.

A Life Without Regrets is Marci Bolden's concluding novel to her lovely series of three. Bolden tenderly and honestly shared the story of widow Carol's story through grief, growth, and reckoning with a series of heartbreaking events in her life. I find Bolden's writing to be perfect for those, my self included, who love real, romantic and uplifting books about women's struggles and life journeys.
Thanks to Net Galley and Pink Sand Press for the advanced reader's copy of this book.

This is a beautiful story, full of hope and redemption. The characters are undoubtedly human and absolutely lovable. I enjoyed the reading very much.
This is the third and final book in this trilogy. Carol/Caroline is on a quest to find closure.
You will devour this amazing book.... Promise!
Thank you NetGalley, Pink Sand Press and author for this amazing book!

This book was an emotional roller coaster of emotions, Carol has always struggled with the death of her daughter now she is also dealing with the death of her husband. What follows is a soul searching journey to come to terms, and be able to move forward with her life. This is such a raw, emotional read that I believe most people can see them self in the main characters place. I would certainly recommend this book to others.

I received a ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and all opinions expressed here are my own.

This is the tale of Carol Denman’s journey through widowhood. She is in her early fifties (I assume), having lost her second husband Tobias in an accident 13 months prior. He was black and younger than Carol, but they were soulmates, married 20 years, still in love and happy. The first time she had ever experienced real happiness since her 6-yr old daughter Katie’s death. Before Tobias, she had been in a bad relationship with her husband John, father to their daughter Katie. Eventually Carol and John made peace before he dies. The cause of Katie’s death is not revealed in this installment. I didn’t realize there were two books prior to this final one, which leads me to believe Katie’s death must have been covered somewhere in those, but it would have added a lot to know what caused her death as Carol is still grieving her and is mentioned continuously in this novel.

So here we have Carol, with a lot of tragedy in her life, even as a child. She was never shown affection by her parents and felt pressured to live up to her fathers expectations of her, always falling short. This is one reason Tobias meant everything to her. He was her support in all things, especially in dealing with the grief over Katie’s loss several years prior. The novel focuses on grief and how people deal with it. It’s different with everyone. We see that here in the supporting characters of the novel. I enjoyed getting acquainted with Carol’s mother Judith who is much kinder now, but still abrupt, and her colorful aunt Ellen.

I don’t know what drew me to this book. It has a lot of good ratings, maybe that’s why, but it was very depressing and repetitive a lot of the time. It had its heartwarming moments and the writing was good enough to entertain me most of the time, but even though this was only 250 pages, I felt a lot of it could have been trimmed. I was anxious for it to end, and thankfully it does end on a positive note.

Many thanks to Netgalley, Pink Sand Press and Marci Bolden. I was delighted to discover this series; it is gentle yet very moving and sweet. This book is the third and final one in the trilogy that began with A Life without Water. In this one, Carol finally finds her way through the traumatic recent years and makes a fresh start... I thought it was lovely; it is very inspiring and is a book that gives hope to all those who have experienced grief, loss and trauma.

This is the third book in the series and I have to say I have never felt so emotionally affected by a book or series before.

We catch up with Carol who is grieving the loss of her husband Tobias. Family and friends mean well but she is trying to cope the best she can.

As Carol continues her travels family and friends will her to heal and move on, but this has to be done at her own pace.

This is such a beautifully written book, although it delves painfully into grief it also encompasses survival and hope.

This series will stay in my heart long after reading it!!

A must read. Have the tissues nearby.

Thank you to Netgalley for my copy in exchange for a review.

I loved every book in this series, each book more emotionally charged than the last, this is the third book in the series and each book is a must read before this one, but they are all worth it, just make sure that you have some kleenex beside you.

Carol has been dealt a life of loss, first her daughter when she was so young and then her husband in a tragic accident, she never really got over either of those losses, this is her story of letting go and moving on and finding herself again.

This series could not have touched my heart any more, loved each and every one of these books

Marci Bolden has written an emotional family drama series of three novels. A Life Without Regrets is the final installment of the series. She does a good job of including enough of Carol's story in each novel to make them possible to read alone but to appreciate the depth of emotions and the complexity of events one should read the three novels in order. They encompass a roller coaster of an emotional life journey. In the series, we follow Carol/Caroline through many strives, devastating losses, and family dysfunction as well as unexpected happiness and forgiveness. Each of the novels covers growth periods of her life and I enjoyed the journey. Carol takes her life healing journey in an RV across America. In this conclusion of the series, I especially enjoyed meeting and learning from the people she meets along the way.

This is the third book in the series "A Life Without Water" and it is the perfect ending to close out Carol's story of tragedy and loss and to begin the rebound as she moves forward in her life.

"Healing is about living despite your loss. The loss becomes easier to bear because you are living, but it never goes away."You can read this as a stand alone novel, however; I highly recommend you start at with the first book of the series and binge read them all.

This is a story that will find you totally absorbed with these magnificent people and family. Carol has had love, so much loss and too much regret through the years.
Her friends, family and therapist are trying to get her to move toward acceptance in her life while there is time. Will she ever forgive herself?
This is not a light read, but one that you will certainly relate to, as well as find yourself wanting to help Carol too!
Marci Bolden definitely has a way to catch a reader! Well done!

3rd in the series. Read the first one on a whim and loved it, loved the 2nd one also. But i think this one is my favorite! Carol does alot of soul searching and finally realizes she needs some serious help. Her relationship with her mother is still a work in progress but so much better than in the first book. She realizes she needs her family and friends to get into a better place in her life and to just be happy. Such a great ending to her journey.

A Life Without Regrets by Marci Bolden is an emotional story about a woman grieving her husband and figuring out how to live her life.

Carol Denman lost her husband just over a year ago. Carol is just starting to process the loss and grief. She is traveling around the country in a RV. Carol’s family and friends are worried about her and trying to get her to come home and are worried about her being alone. Carol has to learn how to heal the best way for her, which she knows is a journey she has to take alone. Carol’s friends and family from the rest of the series return. Carol also has to decide what to do about a past love that appeared in A Life Without Flowers.

A Life Without Regrets is the third book in the A Life Without series. This book could be read as a standalone. It does give away the basics of the first two books, but everything you need to know to understand this book is explained.

A Life Without Regrets is the perfect ending to an emotional series. I have loved Carol’s journey to healing. Carol dealt with the loss of her daughter and resentment towards her ex-husband in A Life Without Water. Carol healed the strained relationship with her mother in A Life Without Flowers. In A Life Without Regrets Carol grieves her husband’s death and figures out how to find happiness without him.

I loved A Loved A Life Without Regrets. I’ve loved these characters from the beginning of A Life Without Water. Carol is struggling but doing the best she can. It is hard for Carol to ask people for help and talk about her emotions. Carol has grown so much in this series. Carol has great people in her life and she knows it. The story was really good and kept my attention throughout the book.

Thank you Marci Bolden, Pink Sand Press and NetGalley for A Life Without Regrets.
