Another inspiring and encouraging book from this author. I’m glad to have this book on my shelf for times when I need this encouragement. I loved this author’s writing style and look forward to reading more from him.

I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

His Mighty Strength is a Christian inspirational by author Randy Frazee.

His Mighty Strength has three parts and six chapters, which can literally be read in one day. The three parts are (1) Emptied, (2) Aligned, and (3) Empowered.

Each chapter of His Mighty Strength begins with a synopsis of Christ and concludes with how the reader can become more like Christ. Throughout the book, Mr. Frazee tells about how he came from betrayal to empowerment. About how Mr. Frazee experienced emptiness through depression and is now empowered through the Holy Spirit.

I believe His Mighty Strength would make a great group study, as it is a well-written book for Christians. I found His Mighty Strength to be encouraging and I give it 5*/5*.

Wonderful book. Terrific reminder! When we empty ourselves, we get our ego out of the way. We make room for the Holy Spirit to act in us. We align our will with the Larger Will. We become empowered to move forward. Challenges become easier and sometimes effortless. We are filled with Divine Wisdom from God who unconditionally loves us. I love the below quote as it serves as a great reminder as to what happens when we empty ourselves and align with God’s will. We become empowered!

“Any time we encounter a mountain that keeps us from moving forward and feels impossible to overcome, we need to remember that we have access to divine dynamite.”

Wow. This is not a self help book. In a culture where we have become very "self-dependent", the message of this book is counter-cultural. The author, Randy Frazee, using his personal and very vulnerable journey, points us to the truth that we were never meant to live life on our own power. We were meant to live life as Jesus did when He was on the earth, depending completely on the power of the Holy Spirit. The same power that was available to Jesus is available to everyone who has trusted in Christ for salvation. Though the message seems obvious, it is not always preached. Power is found through surrender, giving up control, and complete and total dependence. on God alone. Though I have been a Christian for many years, I have been guilty of living my life in my own power, with an illusion of control. Reading this book has given me a new perspective and a new road map for my future.

This is a tremendous Biblically based book on how we too can walk in the power of the Holy Spirit everyday. It's one of those books that is highlighted much and needs to be read a few more times to allow its truth to linger and fill one's heart and mind.

The book is separated into 2 parts with 3 chapters in each. A few chapters but each very good and full of punch. Part 1 is titled, 'Emptied' signifying that Jesus when he came to earth was emptied of his divinity. He was still God but left his powers behind. We too need to be emptied so we can be filled.

Part 2 is titled, 'Aligned' and it works through showing us how Jesus lived and how we too should seek to live following his example and being empowered by the Holy Spirit.

What adds weight to the message is Frazee sharing his struggle of betrayal which resulted in a season of depression and how it was through re-engaging with the strength of the Holy Spirit that he was able to be healed and move onto a new chapter in his ministry life. Frazee's message is more readable as he vulnerably shares his struggles and steps through each aspect of his recovery and release in the relevant chapter.

Highly recommend.

I received an early ebook copy of the book from the publisher via NetGalley with no expectation of a favourable review.
