Lovely feel good seasonal book. It was just lovely. Romantic book you dream about. Great plot and characters. Perfect for reading over the festive period. Or at any time if the year. Christmas books can be enjoyed anytime anywhere. Very well written and flowed well.

I liked the idea of this story but the illustrations did not really work for me and sadly they let the book down for me.
The story was ok and I liked the way it was showing that things may be different this year (my daughters visit to Santa might be cancelled too) so this helped to show why Santa might not be the same this year for younger ones
It was a good idea but didn't work for me and I really didn't like the illustrations - sadly is 3 stars from me for this one, hopefully others will enjoy the illustrations more, this is purely my own personal opinion and would still encourage you to pick up a copy and make your own mind up!

A spin on our happy-go-lucky Christmas books! While the world is in a completely different place from what it was a year ago, this book is here to help us explain what is going on. It gives hope that while we can still enjoy Christmas, the world needs help becoming a better place and that at this time we need to have "compassion and grace." Although I initially thought this book may be a little above what my 6 and 4 year old would understand, it still opened up the door for dialogue about some of the harsh realities going on in the world today. It was a reminder for kindness and understanding and for lending a helping hand. It offered a great message that I happily discussed with my children. This year, Christmas is different, and as the book pointed out, change is constant so discussions are necessary. I would recommend this book, although a little harsh, the book was still a great read.

Santa in a Snow Globe tries to deal with the PPE complexities of the current pandemic and seeing Santa. However, the story just wasn't there. A novelty book that's one and done. Would not recommend.

This book is set to the rhyme scheme of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and it is a cute little book about Santa and Christmas and the world.

I enjoyed this book about Santa and Christmas in 2020. Everything is different this year, we may not get to spend the holidays with family and friends but this book reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas.
Thank you NetGalley for the DRC.

I read Santa in a Snow Globe to my 4 year old son and he loved it, he asked many questions about the story and the illustrations. When I first started reading it and realised it included masks, social distancing and things that relate to Covid I didn't think I would like it and was worried about my son's reaction but I was surprised how well it worked and explained to children how things are different this year but that the true message of Christmas is still the same.
Thank you to NetGalley and IR Publishing for my ARC.

Santa in a Snow Globe is a sweet, rhyming picture book to fill you with Christmas cheer!
If you're looking to add to your Christmas picture book roster for the year, give this book a go. It's a fun, light hearted Christmas tale that somehow manages to involve COVID in it. I was honestly surprised that I didn't mind that fact - social distancing, masks, the works - but it worked.
There's colourful and cute pictures, a great rhyming scheme and a sweet little plot about a Santa stuck in a globe so no one gets sick. It's a good way to show your kids how Christmas may have to work with the pandemic this year.
Three out of five stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and IR Publishing for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

This book was a book based on what may happen to Santa in 2020 with the social distancing and masks. It is explaining to the boys and girls you may not be able to sit on Santas lap this year but presenting getting is the the entire reason for the season. I thought that the pages could have hard a little more rhyme to the story the way it started off I thought that it would. It is a cute story but I wanted a little bit more from it. It is something I would get for the library but not to buy as a personal book. If the illustrations would have popped more off the page that could have helped some of the writing in the pages.

My girly has been waiting for Christmas since July, and with the current world we're living in she's got just a few more days until I agreed to let us put the tree up on November 1st - why NOT?! & so of course she's already looking forward to the holidays, and making her wishlist and Santa is high up on that can't wait for it list. I read her this book tonight, and I am just SO thrilled that even Santa is getting a mask makeover, and this was such a cute, fun read!
I'm hoping our Santa is in a snow globe, and this book can become our reality because TOO cute, what a wonderful book! Thank you for giving us something to look forward to, even our littlest readers!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Cute Santa book but not my favorite. Loved the illustrations more than the story.

This book was wonderful! It's a beautiful way of bringing the "new normal" Christmas to young children and it's written in verse. Huge recommendation for this book and I think this woul be a wonderful Christmas present for all children.

Santa in a Snow Globe is a perfect book for the 2020 Christmas season. It talks about the Corona virus and visits with Santa and if Santa will still visit during Christmas. A good book to explain all the worries that children may have during the Christmas season.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I agree that the topics covered should be known to children but I feel the language used in this book is fairly extreme so would be suited for older children. Its good how they are using Christmas to try and explain the current situation we are in

Well I am sure there are a lot of small children worried about seeing Santa this year. It has been a year where lots of things have changed; social distancing, mask, plastic barriers. These are all confusing for children. So this story shows Santa in a snowglobe because as the elf said he is getting older and has a big night of travel. He is trying to keep everyone safe. The story is written to the common Night Before Christmas. It was a good story until it got a little preachy about climate change and saving the Earth. I really don't think that belonged in this children's story.

A really cute little story that explains how Christmas of 2020 may be different to other years, but also conveys the message of Christmas and that it's not all about getting toys.
Pictures were cute too - great little book that I think every younger child should have.

This book does a good job of addressing the excitement of Christmas, as well as the anxieties children may be feeling. I particularly liked that it wrapped back around to core themes of the season-kindness, empathy, and helping others. I recommend this for anyone looking for ways to prepare children for the different holiday season that will come this year.

What a lovely timely book! Beautifully written and illustrated this emphasises the importance of kindness, sharing and working together to make the world a better place. Some big issues are addressed in here such a CoViD 19 with the need for social distancing and also climate change, but put in a calm and Reassuring manner that these are issues the world can work on together to put right. The important thing about Christmas is not all the stuff children might receive and whether Santa will be able to deliver gifts the same as usual. It is about peopLe all over the world basically being the same, no matter what colour or creed and working together for what is best for the whole world. An excellent gift to give this year!

This is a cute story for kids. How Christmas will be different this year because of covid, how Santa wants to keep us all safe. We can still see him, but we have to social distance and he will be in a snow globe.
