Kilbane is finally getting a bookshop and Siobhan can hardly wait for it to open. To her dismay, one of the owners is a tad snooty, only wanting to sell literary fiction and letting in only those who can quote it. But with an opening event focused on several Irish writers, the whole town is invited. Too bad one of the authors is murdered, causing the book store to be closed right after opening while the garda investigate. Now Siobhan isn’t reading a mystery, she is living it and trying to separate the clues from red herrings and find the murderer before they strike again.

I adore this series and the O’Sullivan Six. The author never fails to hook me right out of the gate and keep the pages turning to find out whodunit! This is one of those series where you hope it goes on forever with new entries coming out often. Don’t miss the Irish Stew recipe at the end. You’ll be craving it with brown bread by the time you are done!

This is an intriguing addition to this fabulous cozy mystery series.
Siobhan is thinking about her engagement and upcoming wedding, a new bookstore is opening in their little town, and they are welcoming a new addition to the police department.
An unfortunate death rocks their small town and when a gruesome murder takes place, it seems everyone is pointing fingers at each other.
This is an intriguing story that kept me guessing until the end. I always enjoy this series, and had a good time reading this book.
