I have LOVED reading this series from Emily March, and Boone is no different! The story was crisp, unique even though it's part of a series, and the characters were believable. The story grabbed my attention from page 1, and I found it difficult to put down. I enjoyed the trajectory of the story and the growth of the characters together and separately. I highly recommend this whole series!

Can't really put my finger on what, really, deterred me from this one. It could be the preachy 'find God' tone that kept being pushed through that did it (I was not expecting this one to be an inspirational read or faith-based). But the story and the characters also didn't gel for me. Too dramatic and dark, maybe? Not really the engaging, good-time read I was expecting when I picked up this one, though

This story is an emotional roller coaster that will reinforce the belief you can still help others while battling the personal demons that threaten to consume you one shaky breath at a time. This is the final installment in the ‘McBrides of Texas’ arc in the long running Eternity Springs series. Obviously, Boone McBride is the featured ‘cowboy’ in this installment and his story is perhaps the most emotional.

This is a great book that was a quick read because I couldn't put it down! I have yet to read an Emily March book that I didn't love! Emily March spins a wonderful tale about love and family. This is part of the McBrides & Eternity Springs series. You can read the book as a standalone, or as part of the series. Either way, absolutely pick this up to read!

3rd book of the trilogy McBrides of Texas, a subset and 18th book in the Eternity Springs contemporary romance series. Can be read as a stand-alone sweet romance. I cannot wait to go backwards and read the other books.

Boone sees desperation in Hannah when he finds her at Lovers Leap overlook. He convinces her to stay in Eternity Springs where she can heal and find purpose again.
It’s an emotional journey for them both because of their sad, individual histories. Family, both actual and created, plus support of community help both Boone and Hannah in healing and believing in the future.
It’s a beautiful story of romance and hope.

I liked the hero a lot. His willingness to open himself up to Celeste and his brothers was just a part of what made him lovable.

A wonderful heart-warming story filled with the promise of healing and sweet romance will keep you fully engaged right up until the last page. A nice blend of humor along with wonderful characters and a great story made this book a winner for me!

I could not put it down. It truly may be Emily March’s best book yet. And I have read ALL of them! Liking Boone has always been easy. You knew his story would be sad. Getting to see Boone fall in love tugged at my heart and brought me to tears more than once. And I don’t cry easily. Eternity Springs...where broken hearts go to heal. Following Boone and Hannah on their healing journey felt like a privilege. Watching Boone fall in love more than once was an absolute joy.

My Review: I have really been enjoying the McBrides of Texas branch off the Eternity Spring series even though I never read the original series. With that said, this book was a bit of a struggle without that original series of background information. But when you break it down and just focus on the story between Hannah and Boone, it was an emotional and really engrossing story. It would hit you hard with emotion and then lighten up a bit, then hit you hard again but all the while raising the hope. I really enjoyed the twist on a classic romance trope, I can't really give it away because that would be spoilers, even one I am not usually a huge fan of. The story seemed to fly by and while it was a satisfying conclusion, I did want more time with them. I will say though there are some very hard hitting topics in this book and I would advise anyone who might be a sensitive reader to check into any trigger warnings before picking it up.

My Rating: I have been enjoying this series and this one might have been one of my favorites so far, I really enjoy Boone as a character, he is definitely a hero you can fall for. I give this one a rating of Three Paws and a Stump Wag.

I truly love this author and this did not disappoint me. She has such a way of writing that I feel a part of the story as if I’m walking in tune with the characters.

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. Big Emily March fan.

Boone McBride’s decision to leave Texas and relocate in Eternity Springs, Colorado, had been a good one. His law practice was thriving, the town was close-knit and friendly, and Boone’s broken heart had finally started to heal. Celeste Blessing, the town’s angel in disguise, had told Boone about the importance of being a Zippo, a light to others, and he took that advice to heart when he came upon a young woman who had stepped over the barrier that was designed to keep people from falling off Lover’s Leap.

Hannah Dupree was despondent, thinking of the destruction left behind and the unhappy turn her life had taken. On this anniversary of the tragedy, she was seriously considering an “accidental” fall from the cliff, when she was stopped by Boone. He managed to distract her, by telling part of his personal story, and she allowed herself to trust him enough to have breakfast with him at his home. As the two spent more time together, Hannah recognized that she was falling for Boone, and with counsel from Celeste, she allowed herself to release her demons and fully embrace Boone and his child.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story of Boone and Hannah, and appreciated the journey back to Eternity Springs and the side trip to Texas. I have met the McBrides previously, and was delighted to see the family again. Boone’s determination to win the wings from Celeste leads him to Hannah, who truly needs an intervention. I liked the way the town pulls together to help one of their own, and I adore Celeste and her instinct for helping others heal. This is the third in the Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas series and it is an absolute delight to read.

Wonderful, heartwarming story. Loved watching Boone fall in love, and seeing Hannah learn she can love again.

I forgot how quickly I fall into Emily March's books. This is the last book in the McBrides of Texas trilogy and she closed it out with a bang. Boone and Hannah have their share of darkness in their pasts. No strangers to love and loss, their meeting seems like serendipity. While their journey together isn't easy, it's worth the fight. Boone and Hannah's stories (individually and together) will make you grieve, make you cheer and make you fall in love with them. If you're looking for a feel good book that grabs you from the start, pick up this book (trilogy)!

This book has some wonderful scenes! I wanted to cry at several heart-wrenching moments in this book. I was glad to see Jackson and Tucker making “appearances” in the book (dang I loved those books!) I have only read the last three books of this series. Several characters from the other books make multiple appearances but you don’t have to read them to fully enjoy this book (OK but I HIGHLY recommend Jackson and Tucker.)


This book is written in a dual POV format. I love that as it gives me that glimpse into the characters’ thoughts. I can more fully understand the characters and their actions during a scene that way. This really helped me to better understand Hannah. Without that glimpse into her thoughts, I would not have been able to thoroughly understand her struggle. The author really put Hannah through the wringer!

This is a slightly sexy read. There were more talk and kisses. The author did a fade out on any action. I would definitely let a parent decide if someone under 18 wanted to read this.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. This book was just amazing. I just lost myself in this story and didn’t want it to end. It was really well written and just drew in you into these characters lives. I look forward to seeing what’s next from this author.

A wonderful wrap up to this branch of the series. Love the characters, love the locations it was an emotional rollercoaster but so worth the wait.

I loved this story and the many layers. The secondary characters were wonderful, too, especially Celeste.

I also appreciated the behind closed doors sexual scenes. I don't need to know the details to be able to feel the chemistry between the characters.

There is a happy ending and I look forward to reading the other books from this series.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is a good addition to the series.. There are no "draggy" parts. Very enjoyable
