Boone is a fabulous contemporary romance by Emily March. Ms. March has once again held me hostage via book with this outstanding story. She has delivered a well-written book, the characters are absolutely perfect for this story and are my favorite thing about this book. Boone lost his wife to suicide and when he saw Hannah on the edge of Lover's Leap he knew he had to stop her. Boone and Hannah's tale is packed with drama, humor, spice and surprises. I loved reading Boone and look forward to my next book by Emily March. Boone is part of the Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Emily March is one of my favorite authors and once again, she has created a gem with her new book in The Eternity Springs series, Boone. I love all the characters she has created for this series and it was such a joy to once again be reading about them. Celeste Blessings is a cherished character and she has quite a large part in this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story of a second chance at love and happiness. Both main characters have a heartbreaking past and it was wonderful to see them become friends, then a couple and then a family. Truly a heartwarming lovely story that I enjoyed so much!

I've been on a serious fantasy binge over the last few months and I only recently started reading romances again when this book came onto my radar. Boone is the third book in a series and can easily be read as a standalone, but my curiosity was definitely piqued about the first two books because the characters make appearances and I was intrigued by them. Reading Boone threw me back to the first time I ever read a Nora Roberts romance. It was very different from the contemporary romances I've read in recent years, but I really enjoyed it! With a beautiful setting in the Colorado Rockies, there's sweet banter between our H/H, and a good dose of the small-town community and close-knit family vibes that serve to make romances that much more heartwarming; but it also tackles some fairly serious and heavy topics involving children.

Our H/H, Boone and Hannah, both have tragic pasts that have left them completely shattered for years. Hannah's wounds, in particular, are still quite raw and when they meet it's the third anniversary of her tragic event. While the romance is obviously central to the story, it doesn't overshadow the individual lives and stories of our H/H, which I really appreciated. The truth of their tragedies are revealed slowly over the course of the story as their relationship grows and they learn to deal with their demons by themselves, but also together. Sometimes it does take a person to be your light to make you want to shake off the haze of tragedy and live life again. Sometimes it also takes a community of people to light your way through, and we get both of those instances in this story. It was very heartwarming and although their pasts are absolutely heartbreaking, there is a lot of strength in both characters, which makes them easy to root for. Celeste was also a gem of a side-character and her friendship, guidance, and charming personality was a delight to read! She's like the perfect grandmother figure--so warm and inviting.

I thought the romance did move pretty quickly and while 'insta-love' usually irritates me, there was a maturity to these characters and their romance that felt realistic. I wouldn't necessarily call this "insta-love" but it was definitely an instant connection that very rapidly transformed into love over a short amount of time. Still, it felt believable and I think that's probably to do with how mature Boone and Hannah were. There was no unnecessary drama and angst. Things also didn't get that steamy on-page with fade-to-black scenes so I'd put this at 1/5 on the steamy scale, but there was still some serious heat between them!

TL;DR: This to me was a classic romance that's pretty different to the contemporaries these days and I really enjoyed it! The descriptions of Eternity Springs in the Colorado Rockies was stunning and made me wish that I could visit this small town. Boone and Hannah's healing journey while finding love again is certainly a heartwarming story, and added to that we get a wonderfully supportive guide and grandmotherly figure in Celeste, and a charming close-knit community and family that's the cherry on top!

Emily March has created such a wonderful escape with her Eternity Springs series, and this book is no exception. This is our chance to learn Boone’s story, when Boone happens across Hannah - both of them are still dealing with losses in their recent past, and Boone offers Hannah a place to stay as a way to help her out, as well as to (hopefully) to earn his Angel’s Rest blazon.

This is a story of second chances, of healing after the worst kind of loss, and having the courage to move on after your heart has been smashed to pieces. It doesn’t happen all at once, but Hannah finds herself wanting to stop running from her past, and starts looking forward to what the future could hold for her if she decides to open her heart back up. Boone thinks Hannah may be the woman he has been looking for, to share his life with.

Reading this felt like coming back home - I really enjoy the Eternity Springs series, and this was no exception. I loved seeing familiar characters and places. There is so much heart that goes into each and every one of these stories, I am dreading the day the series ends (please don’t let it end!).

This is a standalone book and you can read it by itself even if you haven’t read the others, but I think once you read this one, you will probably want to read the others.

He also recognizes something in Hannah, and convinces her to stay in Eternity Springs for a while. This book has romance, forgiveness, revelations, and hope. It can be read as a stand alone but you will want to go back and read the previous two stories about his cousins Jackson and Tucker, and the history behind their acquisition of the Enchanted Canyon propteries. But, it this is your first time visiting Eternity Springs, please go back to the beginning and meet all the characters -- it will make a whole lot more sense.

I’ve read a couple of books in this series and have enjoyed them very much, so when I was asked to review Boone, it was pretty much a no brainer. What I was expecting was a very well written book that kept me entertained, love the McBrides, but what I found with this book was a very a deepLy emotional and thought provocative story about a woman who has had a traumatic event three years prior, she doesn’t know if she can carry on in this lifetime, and a series of events brings her face to face with Boone McBride who has had his own tragedy to deal with. I absolutely loved this couple and book, the author takes you on this journey of emotional pain that leaves you in tears, teaches you about the healing nature of incredible people who have the right touch with those around them, the developing relationship between tortured hearts and how they learn to move on. No don’t get me wrong, this book had a lot of funny moments in it, but by the last page you are pretty drained because of this incredible story. Absolutely loved Celeste and the women of Eternity Springs, loved the men in Boone’s life, and loved the overall premise of this book. Very well worth the read!

Finally we got Boone’s story and it was filled with emotion. The only issue is that something is brought up near the end but then just completely dropped. I wanted that closure.

Let me start by saying this is the first of this series that I have read and I was able to easily follow along. I ADORED this story. It was an easy read and I love the elements of faith that are sprinkled throughout. It is a very tastefully written love story. I highly recommend! (And I might now go back and grab the others in the series!)

The last of this series is full of self revelation and forgiveness. You can feel the characters emotions like they were talking to you in person.

I am sad because this is book 18 0f 18 Eternity Springs... I loved this I cried, I laughed, both Hannah and Boone have had awful tragedies in their lives and we suffer with them both as they find their way. We also get to spend time with all the wonderful characters of Eternity Springs and the McBrides of Texas. Thank you Emily for this book...and their HEA. Maybe you could write a story for all the kids as they grow up.

Boone is a tale full of loss, hope and finding love.

But get your dentist on speed dial as it is so sweet you are going to get a cavity.

I am late to the Eternity Springs series, only having read one other of the books set here, so at times catching up on all the relationships is a lot to take in, but I have liked those I have met. Even if they are all up in everyone else's business.

My heart hurt for Boone and Hannah as their story progressed, however it also makes you smile.

There was one thing though that is brought that seems to have been ... should we say, forgotten? as we come to the close. I need to know what happened there, but it was just glossed over and I still shaking me head ab0ut that.

Overall and enjoyable tale, and I need to get myself back and catch up on the earlier books.

I will read more of the McBrides series in the future

I really loved finally reading Boones story. I've read the whole series but this story can stand alone if your haven't read the others. There's a lot of depth in the plot and character development. The only issue I have is with the ending. Without spoilers, I feel like the major conflict exposed near the end isn't really addressed. It still was a great read and I recommend it!

This is the third and final book in the McBride cousin trilogy set in the Serenity Springs world. I have read all of them, but this one can be read as a standalone. Boone is healing from the loss of his wife and three failed adoptions.
He meets Hannah who is coming back from the loss of her children and husband. Two broken people healing and coming together. I liked the recurring characters is the book and to see the closeness of the three cousins, Jackson, Tucker and Boone.
This is a feel-good romance with a good story line. You will really enjoy it if you have any of Emily March’s books.

4* Heart-Warming Stars

This was my first time reading a book by the author and I really enjoyed this heart-warming story. This is the 3rd book in the McBride Series and it works well as a standalone. I had no problem following the storyline. I am eager to read the first two books now to get to know these quirky and wonderful characters that feature in them.

This is a small-town romance with characters that are very likeable and charming. Boone the sexy single lawyer and Hannah the new visitor to Eternity Springs have both had to deal with tragedies in their lives. Together they navigate their way opening up about their pasts and learning to love and trust again.

Even though some parts were sad to read, the storytelling was amazing and heartfelt.
