Absolutely loved the setting and “feel” that the author created for this strong mystery. A collection of interesting characters added to the sense of engagement and I felt quite swept along in the case.

I enjoyed the character development and the plot in this book. I’m not sure it was my type of thriller read but I did enjoy it none the less!

Book eight in the Dan Mallett Investigations series and mansion sitting becomes an ordeal for Pippa Lees when mysterious phone calls become too much and a body is discovered in the lounge. Can she trust the seemingly charming Dan Mallett enough to ask for help? Enjoyable reading and a fitting addition to the series.

An engrossing and highly entertaining mystery, I thoroughly enjoyed.
Good character development, interesting setting and a solid mystery that kept me guessing.
I want to read the other books in this series.
