Blink of an Eye is the 8th book in the Kendra Michaels series from the mother/son team of Iris and Roy Johansen.

"Delilah Winters is one of the world's hottest pop stars and a friend of Kendra Michaels and Jessie Mercado. When she is kidnapped from a concert, Kendra and Jessierace to find her. When a ransom swap goes horribly wrong, Kendra knows she must use all of her skills to find her before it's too late."

Kendra must solve a kidnapping in this book and uses hearing/audio abilities to gain some direction. There are examples of her "people reads" - some that seem to be there for illustration, others impact the story. We get to see more of Jessie and a little of her background. And Lynch is still there creating tension in the room and in Kendra. I did sort of guess what was happening - just a feeling - nothing was given away in the story but you are left asking - "Hey, wait a minute - what's that?" The ending does happen in an interesting, unique place

This writing here felt a little different from previous books like maybe the writing responsibilities had changed. Reminded more of Iris's books than previous books in the series.

Another great book in the series. Fans of Kendra Michael will want to add this to their 2021 Books-to-read list.

I just love this author.... I missed a few books of this series but had no issues just picking up this one and devouring it. That to me is a true author... no cliffhanger and a wonderful series.

What did I like? Action packed in this one and a mystery inside of a mystery. Who took Delilah? Kendra and Jessie have all the cooperation from the feds as they figure this out. I was glued to the pages from start to finish in a race to the ending. Kendra is such a unique character from being blind to having an operation to see again. Her abilities to catch what other people miss is so unique and makes for a fun character to watch solve this puzzle. Five stars!

Would I buy or recommend? I certainly enjoyed it! People that love a good mystery with some equally great characters will enjoy it. I just love this author! Mother / Son duo but both highly talented with words. I would definitely buy a copy!

I received a copy to read and voluntarily left my opinion. Can’t wait for the next one!

This is the newest addiction to the Kendra Michaels series. This book does have a lot of twists and turns to keep you guessing through out the story. I am enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book

Love this series and Kendra, Lynch, Jessie, Olivia, and, of course, Harley. The action kept moving and the guessing didn’t end until about three quarters through. Satisfying ending but now comes the wait for the next book. Hurry.

Kendra Michaells and I was so excited to see that Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen had written aother novel featuring her fr iend Jessie Mercaso. Jessie's role in the novel was more involved then in previous books. This was an exciting and different aspect to the past plots. Lynch again plays a major role in the plot but he only joins the story in the middle of the book. Kendra's lifelong friend Olivia questtions her about her relationship with Lynch but she give no complete answer. She is still torn between her deep feelings and atachment to him and her need to be independent. Itsthis relationship and the way the Johansens handle it that makes the books so interesting to me,
