I have enjoyed this story, and I will be looking for more of them as i could not put it down until I finished it, if you love alien's then just read this story and you will be transported to another place in space.

A fun light hearted intergalactic erotic romance. Easy to read, a good story and sex scenes woven in with a real developing relationship between the characters. Unusually a strong female lead who despite being rescued initially proves to be an equal in the relationship. A nice distraction from reality read.

Look forward to reading others in the series by this author

Thank you, Netgalley and the publisher, for the gifted copy; all thoughts are entirely my own

I've read a couple of sci-fi romance books, but I don't feel this one was geared toward me. It was okay; I guess I enjoy my aliens less "human" looking. 🤷‍♀️

What would you do if you found yourself light years away on another planet and a hot alien that reminds you of Hellboy and a merman said you were his destined mate? Well written, one sitting read. Full of mystery and will have you wanting to read more.

This is a pretty classic piece of Sci fi alien romance. It leans heavily on the tropes of the genre - fated mates, an alpha male, screaming orgasms, ridiculous miscommunication, and insta-lust.
And there's nothing wrong with that, at all. It's fairly well written, no grammar or spelling issues. I liked that the fem protag was not abducted but ended up in the alien world as an accident.
There's really not a great deal to review, as this is absolutely typical of the genre. The alien male is not alien enough for me, instead being a green horned human, but if you're a fan of the genre, this is an easy read.
Three stars (purely because it's same old same old).

**I received a copy of Devil in Exile from Net Galley and the author in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. All opinions are my own and not solicited**

Devil in Exile by Angelina Avery (AKA Fiona Jayde) is the first book in her Warriors of Elysius series. I have to say it's very good totally worth all five stars. If you like Alpha Alien's who love their mates and take care of them plus a equally Alpha female who didn't hesitate to take on porcupine/snake type slave traders then you'll love this book as much as I did. So when is Tarian's and does Thomasina's and Shale get their own book I'll try to be patient..maybe?

Dr. Ava Charles and her sub pod crew are on a Oceanography exhibition and don't realize their vessel has gone through a time portal ending up on Draioch and will soon have to fight off Chassak Traders. Of course they have no clue as to how they ended up there but I can tell you that neither Ava or Thomasina are shrinking violets. Luckily Kyllell happens to be nearby and he senses that Ava is compatible and his mate he won't hesitate to rescue her if she'll let him. He'll nurse her through the Chassak quill poisoning and trying to convince her that they're mates, rescue her friend and return to his home but not without fighting off bad guys, traitor friends and injuries.
Will he convince her to stay and not return home to Earth?

I highly recommend this book if you like SciFi romance

This is a sci-fi romance.

Devil In Exile is about an Elysium warrior exiled to another planet with no chance of finding his soul mate. The lead female character comes into contact with him and the story develops from there.

She is a feisty strong character which I love in books. She's also a curvy female character which is also very much appreciated.

The setting of the story is set in another planet. The way its described sticks in your brain and you can imagine you've been transported to that place.

Its a good start to the series and I hope I can read some more from this author.
