Dog groomer Juliet Nolan does her friend a favor by volunteering to be a seat filler for an entertainment awards show. She is flabbergasted when she ends up filling a seat next to Noah Douglas, a movie star who she is loved since she was little. Their meet-cute is anything but cute and sweet, but Noah pursues Juliet after the show.

Who doesn't love a romance story about a "regular" girl catching the eye of a handsome movie star? And he loves dogs? And he is thoughtful and sweet? Noah was definitely swoon-worthy and he was the thing I liked the most about this book. I also really liked that Juliet has a passion for dogs because I love dogs too! Their very slow burn romance was cute and sweet.

This was an entertaining read, albeit it was a little predictable at times.

Sariah has done it again! I loved this book from the very first chapter and did not put it down until I was done. I won't say that I loved it more than Roommaid because I don't think anything could beat that one for me. But I will say that it came really close. This book had a way of making you fall for the characters. Even the side characters!! You just couldn't help falling for them all. The two twists in this one were so good. Although one I guessed before the book even got started but that was ok. Even knowing what was going to happen didn't take the stress out! LORD WAS THIS STORY STRESSFUL!!! I can not wait to see what Wilson has in store for her next title. But I have to say that she is an auto buy author for me!!

Not the very best, though I might not have been in the right mood for it. It's not great but it's also not bad. So now I'm in this uncomfortable situation trying to find words to express that feeling.

HJ Top Pick!

The Seat Filler was an absolute delight to read! I loved every single second of this cute Cinderella style romance. This was one of the most swoony, sweet cute Hollywood romance that I have read to date, Wilson is fast becoming a favorite romance author of mine!

I absolutely adored Juliet and that she was not your stereotypical female lead in that she was more than happy to get messy with the pups than get all dolled up. I really liked that Wilson created such a relatable female lead that had very real insecurities and fears. I loved the cute little relationship that she created with sassy Glady and that in a way she helped Juliet fight for Noah.

Noah has to be one of my all time favorite male leads, not only was he down to earth but he was such a sweetheart. I loved that he didn’t rush Juliet and went at her pace. Also how cute was all that research that he did to help make the entire kissing experiment go more smoothly! I absolutely loved that Noah did everything that he could to help make Juliet happy even if that meant having to do things that made him uncomfortable.

Overall The Seat Filler was one of the cutest, swooniest most heart-warming romance that I have had the pleasure of reading. This is definitely a book I would recommend to all romance lovers!

After reading Roommaid I became an instant fan of the author. Her writing is Witty, humorous and gives you all the feels. I love that the characters actually get to know each other before getting intimate .

This book was a wonderful, light read with characters that felt real and made me want to find them and make friends. I'm often put off by celebrity-meets-real-person romances because it feels like it couldn't work out in real life or you just get too much of a sense of wishful thinking, but The Seat Filler felt genuine and was a joy to read.

I would like to take a moment to thank NetGalley, and Kaye Publicity for providing us with a copy of this book so we can provide you with this review.

This is such a cute and sweet contemporary romance. It was a fast read and you just fall in love with Noah Douglas and Juliet Nolan. The slow easy way that Noah helps Juliet fall in love with him is so sweet and cute. It is all so subtle as well you as the reader know its going to happen but the way that Juliet doesn’t realize it made me smile. The one thing is that you wonder for a long time when Juliets secret is going to come to light and when the other shoe will drop. But once its done you heart hurts for both of them but for sure more for Juliet. You need a cute love story to sit and read on a nice spring weekend this is the book for you.

I give this book 5 sweet kisses.

Happy Reading… Adri

All of that for a simple kiss???
The answer is - YES! And it was worth it!!!

Juliet has a phobia of kissing and former childhood crush/movie star Noah is more than willing to help her get over her fears. He is a “professional” after all.

I really enjoyed this book! I found myself laughing a few times and was always eager to find time to sit down and read more of it. It was a pretty clean book that I would definitely be able to recommend to others. Treat yourself and read this book and fall in love with Noah Douglas - he’s not your average celebrity.

This was my second go at a Sariah Wilson book and I think there's just something about the writing that doesn't work for me. It's perhaps the pacing - it seemed slow? And the chemistry wasn't there for me. It was cute, and sweet, but by 40% I wasn't hooked or invested enough to stay with it.

Her books call to me - the covers, the titles, the blurbs. The premises even! I should love these! But I am 0-2 on finishing the ones I picked up, so I think it's time to admit that this author might not be for me.

I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to read and review!

As far as romance novels go, this was very enjoyable and fun to read through. Juliet is brought in as a seat filler as a last-minute favour and the last thing she expects is to sit next to her long-time celebrity crush Noah Douglas. She isn't allowed to make the first move as per her agreement as a seat filler, but once Noah shows a little bit of arrogance, she lets her attitude shine through. Pretending she has no idea who he is seems like a great idea until he shows up in her life again later on. Now she has to figure out when to tell him all while he is doing her one of the biggest favours she could ever ask of someone.

These two were cute but I felt like their conversations and relationship was very superficial? If that's the word I'm looking for. They just had very clearly orchestrated chemistry. I know this is odd to say when it comes to a book that is obviously planned out and orchestrated by the writer... but my favourite books have a natural feeling buildup to the inevitable relationship between the main characters and this really did not hit that mark.

Was it cute? Yes. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Will I reread it? Probably not. That's kind of where I'm at with this book at this point.

What an absolutely delightful read this was.  I read it in less than 24 hours and NO REGRETS that I may not have fed my family frozen pizza and french fries.

Juliet is quirky, a bit neurotic, and a good human!  She's doing a friend a solid by being a seat filler, it's not something she wants to do but to help her bestie impress her future mother-in-law - she does it.  She's faced with her long-time, childhood crush as a seat filler, and the shenanigans begin!

Noah isn't all that the world sees and his connection with Juliet is instant.  He's always so unsure of everyone's intentions but Juliet isn't like everyone else.  He pursues her but she's not interested in dating, even her longtime crush.  Juliet has an aversion to kissing - like seriously - throws up at the thought.  Noah "offers" to help her with this "problem" - just as friends.

The banter between these two is off the charts and I just loved seeing them grow as people and as a couple.  This would have only been better if I was sitting on a beach reading!

This book was a delight from start to finish. Yes, there was a whole lot of disbelief to suspend in this Cinderella-sort of story about the hunky superstar actor who just happens to fall for the dog-groomer who sits next to him at an awards ceremony when she is just a seat-filler.

But the interactions between Juliet and Noah were very sweet. Of course, there was a lot that was predictable. If someone is keeping a secret from someone in a romance novel, you know that the truth will come out eventually and cause a rift that will ultimately be resolved in time for a HEA.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I no longer wish to read this book, after hearing some concerning things about the author. This book is apparently inspired directly by her obsession with a certain famous actor, who she stalked, ingratiating herself with some of his associates in Hollywood.

I love Juliet!

Juliet never thought she would meet Noah Douglas so when she did, she couldn’t talk and told him she no idea who he was even though she did. Noah was charmed by the dog walker who would rather spend time with his dog and had panic attacks whenever somebody tried kissing her. Juliet and Noah slowly work at being more than friends and realize they can have a relationship out of the gossip pages.

The Seat Filler is adorably cute when dog groomer Juliet Nolan meets Noah Douglas the actor that she had a teenage crush on including the usual pillow and poster that she has to tell Noah about much later in the book that almost ruins their relationship.

Chase and Zoe Covington’s story is #Starstruck.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I think this book is every teenage girl's dream. Juliet has taken a "job" as a seat filler and finds herself next to a Hollywod hearthrob: Noah... Don't freak out. Noah, of course, finds Juliet beautiful... and the rest is history...

This sweet romance is fun to read, gave me a chance to dream a bit, and had such lovable characters. I found myself reading it cover to cover in just a few short days!

I really enjoyed this book, it was funny and something completely out of the ordinary. Yes, there's love, laughter and tears but also a willingness to forgive and I thought it was such a warm-hearted read. This book had me reading it within days, I could not put it down, the plot was something truly original when it came to the storyline, and the characters were brilliant, Juliet and Noah, were characters with flaws and were completely lovable from start to finish, relatable and so easy to realistically imagine.

I cannot get over how adorable this book was! I stayed up way too late finishing it because I just couldn’t put it down! From the very beginning I was hooked—like Shelby says “ahoy, mateys. I’m onboard this ship.” From their adorable banter to their undeniable chemistry, I couldn’t get enough of Juliet and Noah.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves fun quirky romances. This has easily one become one of my favorite reads!

A huge thank you NetGalley and Montlake for this eARC that I received in exchange for an honest review.

The Seat Filler is an adorable romantic read. I had to pause at so many intervals and think awwww while reading. I liked Juliet immediately because she was plucky and didn't take guff from anyone. I Just knew Noah was stuck on her from the first night. His wooing of her was so sweet that he romanced me at the same time. I loved how in to her he was without knowing she felt the same. I didn't want this book to end. I wanted more melting moments. Do yourself a favor and read this one because it's a keeper.

3.5/5
I liked it. I liked the story, the relationships (some) and the love interest (Noah). I didn't like as much the writing style and a lot of the situations were very convenient.
I absolutely loved Noah, he was so cute and kind, he made me want to read until the end. I didn't care for much other than the relationship between the Juliet and Noah. I thought most fell flat; we got glimpses, but not really an explanation or more depth to it.

The Seat Filler

I have been reading lots of intense books lately and thrillers and thought I definitely need something lighter next and boy am I happy I chose this one.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed it. Firstly I am movie mad and my all time never going to happen ambition is to attend the Academy Awards....there is no actual reason I ever will...I just desperately want too...I am so jealous of Juliet!

This is literally every girls fairytale but....and I cannot say this enough...its also one of the funniest books I have read in a long time.

I mean laugh out loud until I cry funny. .I adored it.

I adored Juliet. I adored Shelby. I wanted to marry Noah instantly.

I found Juliet's phobia really hard to get my head around at first. A bit like in Patch Adams when the leading ladies issue turns out to be she is too beautiful (everyone in the cinema laughed) and any sympathy you had for that character was gone....but then I did a bit of research and found that Juliet's fear is more common than I thought and then Noah did lots of research and presented it to us and I thought that was brilliant. So was highlighting a phobia that can be seen as very shameful and I thought that was great.

My only complaint is Juliet not dating was clearly shown in the fact anytime she criticised Noah...he was literally too perfect. I wish we had seen a fault or two. If any date I have ever been on...had even one of Noah's qualities ...let alone them all...I would be very very happy.

This book really spoke to me on so many levels.. like it had seen my 12 year old self and wrote to that girl...and then I realised we were all that girl once...and thats very sweet too.

I genuinely laughed and cried so many times during this beautiful, funny and sweet story

I do not agree with the authors take on Rian Johnson...but I did chuckle in delight at that conversation and text my friends about it to discuss!

I will definitely be reading this again numerous times....when I need a pick me up.

Thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
