The blurb for this book sounded like it would be a fun possibly sexy read, unfortunately for me I should have read the reviews before I downloaded it. While Sasha and Rick were ok having things drag out till the end for them to come together just didn’t do the story any favors.
A lot of the sexting was confusing or just plain old “what does that even mean” was my feeling most of the time. The story had moments where I connected but most of the time I was cringing from some of the things that were said and done. The unnecessary drama of her ex was just that unnecessary.
It had a few slightly sexy moments and some touching moments especially the relationship Sasha had with her best friend Jess. Sasha’s over use of the f word just got old after a while and did nothing for the story. I found that the blurb was a lot more fun than the actual story.
I received an advanced reader copy and I am leaving a voluntary review.

This is a perfect book for a casual read when you don't want to think about things too much. I wanted to love it, as much as other readers seem to. Unfortunately, I had a tough time connecting with the characters. Maybe I'm mistaken, and I shouldn't have expected this, but I couldn't see a deeper sense in some of their actions. I felt disconnected and couldn't really sympathise with them. Even with this genre, there's a lot of potential for characters, that this book was missing. The drama was just too much. To my mind, the ex-wants-to-get-her-back-part was unnecessary.
For the most part, the style of writing was totally fine. Only the protagonists' texting exchanges were hard to read, and kind of ruined things for me. The story seemed to drag on a little too long for my liking. It definitely stayed true to the title: a lot of talking and texting, keeping the reader waiting til the end.

I was very disappointed with this book.
There are several problems .... telling not showing, cringe-worthy sexting and conversations, jumping to conclusions, heroine is far too naive, manipulative hero, and I could go on.
I liked her best friend but that’s it. Pushing the heroine out of her comfort zone was fun.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for my honest review.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
For me this book totally missed the mark of being sexy. Instead it was awkward how overly sexual the whole story was and especially Sasha talking to Santa made me so uncomfortable. I'm all for sexual empowerment but this just felt very forced. I also felt like "Santa" was objectified too much. Overall just a bit overdone in so many aspects.

This book was a weird one for me. I didn't love it. It was kind of cringe to me from the start. I just found myself not wanting to finish it, I struggled. BIG time.

Okay this book was a very cringe book for me. I found that the heroine would over use the word ‘fuck’ and it just made me annoyed. Also the hero is a former pro football quarterback but he’s now working as a teacher how did the school have enough money to pay him

A lot of dreaming and sexting. I expected and wanted more. I felt like I was being teased by the author. The story line was okay I just wish that they had hooked up before the last chapter.

I was pretty disappointed in this story. I wanted to love it. I wanted a quick little romp. But it seemed to drag on a little too long and didn't really get sexy until the end.

✨Sexting With Santa✨
Thank you to Netgalley, Jane Colt and Christmas Cat Press for an Earc
Description- this story follows Sasha a teacher who, whilst on a weekend getaway with her bff following her divorce, finds herself in the lap of a rather sexy santa but not all is as it seems. Sasha admits to santa that her Christmas wish is to get up close and personal with the physical education teacher at her school named Rick. Sasha finds herself attracted to both Santa and Rick and it would appear she has a choice to make.

This story promises to be a steamy read however there was way more talking than there was doing. The characters were fun. The texting was a little hard to follow at times and the code name kept changing between Vanessa and Veronica which was a little annoying.
The standout feature of the book for me was the friendship between Sasha and Jess. Jess is the type of friend we all hope to have and value beyond belief. She pushes Sasha to embrace her fantasies, to be more adventurous and step out of her comfort zone. She’s honest but still supportive and always on hand and there for Sasha.
Overall Sexting with Santa is a quick, easy and enjoyable read for fans of Chick-Lit.

I requested this book as unlike chick-lit romance with a steamy edge. Whilst, in some places this book met the features of said genre, it also missed the mark in others.
The texting between the two characters was hard to understand at times and I felt the book lacked the opportunity for the relationship to develop between the two teachers. It almost made their ‘love’ seem unrealistic.
That being said, I loved the relationship between Sasha and her friend, Jess and the way that she pushed Sasha out of her comfort zone. We all need friends that challenge us.
I’m couldn’t stand the ex-husband, Matthew - he was vile. I liked how the author juxtaposed him against the character of Rick.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Thankyou so much for letting me read this book. This genre is very new to me, I have to be honest and say I judged the book by the cover and requested it due to the image of Santa himself, but it did not disappoint!
I don't want to give spoilers as this book is due to be released so I will just touch on some of the storyline.
The story start with Sasha and her friend Jessica heading away for a girlie trip and decided to visit a 'girls toy shop' and see naughty Santa, Jessica gave Sasha a dare and that's where the fun begin, well I laughed til I cried and I had sore sides, this friendship and Sasha's determination to get a red faced Santa was so funny, with many laugh out loud moments. Them girls was total bad influences on each other in a good way!
When the bombshell dropped of who Santa was I let out a squeal! This added more fun to the storyline and was incredibly well done. I loved how the Sexting with Santa was introduced.
About half way through the book there was a twist and my stomach sank I was gutted for the male teacher, I just didn't know where the author was going to take this storyline, I was glad when everything began to unravel...
The next part of the storyline was very real as many times we don't communicate well, we do jump to conclusions and we sabotage situations that we could have otherwise enjoyed.
I felt both the male and female teacher was victim to this and just needed to communicate and be honest, sometimes we all lack this skill. I was likewise heavy hearted here not knowing how this part of the storyline would pan out, but when we reached the last part of the story I was smiling happily reading it and I am very happy with the outcome and Sasha was a very, very lucky girl!
I need one of these sexting Santa's!

ARC received for review
There was a whole lot more talking about sex than actually doing it. Their texting exchanges were hard to read with all the text speak. The drama with her ex was totally unnecessary and ridiculous. The drama between them would have been enough. Just man up and talk to her.

The blurb of the book was really interesting, however, it let me down. I was hoping for a quick love and steamy story and it just didn't deliver.
For me the writing played a great part of the previous situation because some parts were just really confusing between Rick, Santa and Sasha.
As for the characters I really loved Rick, he was just a nice guy that had been in love with his peer, Sasha.
One character I HATED SO MUCH was Matthew!!! and I can't believed that Sasha actually believed in him!!!
Finally, I think the book fall out for me bc they spend so much time in the Santa sexting that the love story btw the protagonist was a little off :(
