Can you imagine not knowing who you are or anything about your past?

Addison seems to have it all together. She is in love and getting married. Not only will she gain a husband, but a whole family! We may not realize how important our past is but as she attempts to move forth in life, it comes at her from all angles,

Her story is told in addition to Julian's, a single father with a little girl who seems to be doing the best her can.

Somehow, their stories intertwine. Liv Constantine has done another amazing job drawing us in to the characters life and and keeping us in until the twisty ending.

I loved it!

Mmmk. Remind me to never trust anyone else ever again, ok? This book is all kinds of twisty.

Addison is engaged to be married and should be excited to begin her new life as a wife, but to her, everything feels new already. She was discovered on the side of the road, bleeding, next to a highway in New Jersey with no memory of her past.

A couple of states away, Julian and his seven-year-old daughter Valentina miss their wife and mom, Cassandra, who disappeared without a trace two years ago.

After listening to way too many crime podcasts and murder documentaries, I can usually guess the ending fairly early in the novel. But I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING! You're just going to have to read this one for yourself. But don't tell me I didn't warn you that it would be all kinds of messed up, ok?

Liv Constantine is a thriller genius! The Stranger in the Mirror was an excellent read - couldn't put it down and read it in an entire day. This story's twists will have you turning the pages at rapid speed.

The sisterly dynamic duo has done it again!!!!

O!! M!! G!! I have read every book by this team and each book will have captivated and this book didn't disappoint.

Let's talk about the characters. I don't think I have read a book where my emotions and feelings towards each character changed so drastically and so often. I would feel empathy and like them, then I would have my suspicions as to their real agenda, then be surprised that maybe I was wrong and care about them again, and then BANG!!! The truth is revealed!!!!

It was nonstop suspense that had my head reeling so much that I think I now have vertigo. I found myself holding my breath and the next minute having heart-pounding palpitations. The kind of book that you can't wait to see how it all comes together, but on the other hand, don't want it to end.

An explosive read that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering when the next shoe will fall.

I just hope they are on the final edits of their next book because I don't have that much patience to wait to see what they have in store with their next book.

Will be posted to blog 07/07/21

Addison seemingly has everything - a handsome, caring, and wealthy fiance, a passion for art and photography, and the perfect wedding on the horizon. But she is missing crucial pieces or her identity, including who she really is, where she came from, and what happened to her before she was found bleeding on the side of the road with amnesia. Fans of Constantine's other titles will be drawn to this books fast pace, building suspense, and breathtaking twists and turns. The characters feel a bit flat, however, and the the twist is so extreme that it borders on contrived.

I could not turn these pages quick enough!
This will seriously keep you up all night! Amazing writing and well plotted Liv is quickly becoming one of my top favorites!

Lots of twists in this book and fans of psychological thrillers will love Constantine's new book. There was a consistency error at one point where characters from the future were accidentally placed in the past. Other than that, the book was great.

Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Books for the early copy of this book. I am a huge fan of Liv Constantine, and while I really wanted to love this book. It fell a little flat for me. The characters were unrealistic and the story line was just to far out there. This book drug on like it was never going to end.
Like any book that I don't love I always say please don't take my review as the end all be all. I have seen so many people who have liked this book. It was just not for me.

As usual, Liv Constantine delivers a solid thriller! This one is about a woman who has suffered from amnesia from her past and is marrying a man who is devoted to her. Meanwhile, Julian has always wondered what happened to his missing wife of two years. Their lives end up intersecting in a most intriguing way!

I have not read a Liv Constantine book I don't like. This one was a 5 star read and I love the twists these authors come up with. Last year, The Wife Stalker was my favorite thriller, this could be in contention for this years favorite.

Addison Hope knows nothing about her past. She doesn't even know her real name. All she knows is that she was found near death two years ago by a truck driver who took her in, loves photography, and is in love with her fiance, Gabriel. As she is trying to plan their wedding and look to the future, the mysteries of her past start to catch up with her.

The Stranger in the Mirror is a whirlwind! Just when you think you have the mystery of Addison's past figured out, another piece of the puzzle crashes into place throwing off the image completely. I loved every second of this wild ride, though admittedly it does take a dark turn that wasn't easy to read at times. I would happily rate it 5 stars if the pacing hadn't gotten a bit sluggish toward the end of the book. It was still a stunning thriller, something I've come to expect from this duo.

Thank you Harper Collins for my review copy.
.
Hot diggity dog. The dynamic Liv Constantine duo is back. Back y'all. I loved this one.
.
I'm not going to speak on the premise too much....read the synopsis for the deets. I am going to say this. I was completely addicted. I started this novel and it was all I could think about. To the point, I may or may not have snuck in a few chapters when I had downtime at work ;-). I also woke up early just to finish it, because I needed to know what was going on. The unreliable narrator is on point in Addison. I also loved the other two perspectives in Julian and Blythe. It was incredibly well rounded.
.
I will be honest....there were a couple of predictable moments, but overall. I loved this one. If you like quick reads. Pick it up. If you like novels in the vein of The Woman on the Train. Pick it up. If you are a fan of Liv Constantine....by all means grab it. I'm going to say one more thing....y'all know I love nothing more than talking about a book I enjoyed! If you have read The Last Mrs. Parrish and loved it. Bring your expectations down a smidge. This book is fantastic. But in my opinion. The Last Mrs. Parrish will still be my go to book for this duo.

While this book was not quite as anxiety-inducing as her previous titles, it is still a fast-paced roller coaster read. The bad guy is unpredictable for the majority of the story, and I appreciated the humanizing approach the author took with the character of the mother-in-law to be.

You must finish this book as though you may think you have it figured out there are lots of twists that will surprise you. The amnesia storyline was good but I thought it resolved unevenly. Fans of Constantine will enjoy this psychological thriller.

I ABSOLUTELY love Liv Constantine and have devoured all of the sisters’ books, so I was so thrilled to get my hands on an ARC of The Stranger in the Mirror! The Stranger in the Mirror is about Addison, an amnesiac who is recently engaged and is starting to get nervous about her wedding because she can’t remember her past and if she has people who love her. She feels like she may have done something very bad in her past life. In Boston, Julian is still trying to figure out what happened to his beloved wife and mother to their seven-year-old daughter. She disappeared 2 years ago, never to be heard from again. When Addison and Julian cross paths, everything comes to a head and begins to spiral out of control.

For a while I was pretty sure I knew exactly what direction this one was taking, but boy was I wrong! I did not see that ending coming. This grabbed me from the very first page. I didn't want to put this book down and I finished it in one sitting. Their writing style, along with the ability to create a suspenseful thrilling plot is spectacular. The characters are well done and very complex and the situation is downright scary. This book is fun, soapy, tense, and totally crazy. I highly recommend picking this one up when it is released in July! It’s going to be a great summer read! If you have never read a book by these sisters, then you’re missing out and should check out all their awesome books! Thanks to HarperCollins Publishers and Netgalley for a great read!

Addison has no memory of anything in her life - except for the past 2 years. Tossed away at a roadside, Addison had been taken in by Ed and Gigi who helped her to acclimate herself.. Yet, now that Addison's wedding to Gabriel is soon, she wonders how things would be if she knew she had parents or siblings...Although Gigi has taken her under her wing, Addison is now faced planning the wedding alone with Blythe - her mother-in-law to be.

Meanwhile, 7 year old Valentina and her father, Julian, discuss how their mother & wife respectively, had disappeared 2 years ago,

The puzzle begins to form - but not as the reader may guess'... What happens?

A wonderful, quick read! Highly Recommend!

many Thanks to HarperCollins, Publishers, and NetGalley for a great read.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Two years ago, Addison Hope was picked up off the side of the road with multiple injuries, tattered clothing, and no recollection of who she was. Addison remembers nothing of her past life and although this bothers her tremendously, this doesn’t stop her from building a future with her new fiancé, Gabriel. They are moving forward until Julian Hunter stumbles upon Addison’s photography in Philadelphia and tells her that she is really his wife, Cassandra, that has been missing for two years.

Ultimately I devoured this twisted thriller and enjoyed it immensely. I am always a fan of the Constantine sisters’ writing style and their ability to surprise me even when I think I’ve figured out every detail.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

At about the last third of the book AFTER we see Julian trying to convince Cassandra to commit suicide and when we are primarily reading through Julian’s memories of before Cassandra disappeared, there is a chapter where she attempts to post a picture of Valentina on Facebook and Julian gets upset even though her only FB friends are Ed, Gigi, Hailey, and a few other people from her life in Philadelphia. I thought these chapters were all from before Cassandra disappeared and ended up in Philadelphia, not after. Are they supposed to jump back and forth? This bit confused me.

Additionally, there’s a chapter about Valentina being allergic to milk, but later on, she is eating ice cream.

Those were really my only issues with the novel, but it was all fun nonetheless. I will basically read anything that the Constantine sisters write. 4/5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thought this was headed in a different direction, and I felt like it was a little too predicable, but then it threw me for a loop and went another way, which was a nice surprise. Finished this one in one night!

A thriller I couldn't put down and so I stayed up way too late finishing! Addison Hope can't remember anything about her past, including her name, her child, or the husband who is eager to bring her back home to her old life.
