Thank you NetGalley for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The cover is simple. I'm honestly not a fan of the colorscheme, but that doesn't really take away from the book.

This book was well-written. The author is for sure talented. I found the storyline easy to follow and unique in that it's not something I've read before. And this is definitely a book to read in this current pandemic.

Overall, I'd consider reading more books by this author.

Very interesting premise. I appreciated how the author used his knowledge in psychiatry to develop the plot. If only everyone in the real world had as much respect for each other as Medenby citizens did in adhering to a lock down at the beginning of the pandemic!

A unique twist on a pandemic book, an interesting and thought provoking concept, not at all the typical thing you read. There seems to be an ever creeping amount of pandemic books about, so the tie into mental health is extremely different to anything else I’ve read. The characters seemed to be lacking depth at times, however, overall a good read. Perfect for fans of sci-fi, survival and end of the world story lovers. More details into the back end of a pandemic than usual, well worth a read.

This is fascinating. A great story of what looks like the end of the world but, more than that, a study of human behaviour. Dystopian fiction can be divisive but there is enough in this to appeal to those who also like books about relationships and strong characters. I really enjoyed this.
