Thr tiny vampire needs to scare someone or he'll fail his test. He tries with all his might, but it just doesn't work. This is a cute story for Halloween. I love that it highlights the power of friendship and helping others.

This is a delightful book starring a minute "zcary" vampire in Transylvania .. or is he? He is up against a very serious Vampire Test where he must give the ultimate scare to someone if he is to pass. If he is unable to produce he will be banished to Banana Peeler School and he definitely doesn't want to go there.

He tries his tactics out on a little girl he meets and casts a GIANT SHADOW before her. He shrieks...

"I'M A ZCARY VAMPIRE!"
" A what?" the little girl asked.
"You know with zee cape, zee fangz... A VAMPIRE!

She cracks up and laughs out loud. He's got to be kidding. When she sees how upset he is and how much this means to the little guy she has a change of heart, takes pity on him, and commits to help. Will he succeed and graduate to become a vampire which he desires to be with all his heart?

The illustrations are colourful, vibrant and I especially loved the main character. The themes of friendship, teamwork and building self-confidence and self-esteem are addressed. This book will be suitable at any time to read not just for Halloween.

A fun friendship emerges when a young girl encounters a little vampire who is not nearly as “zcary” as he thinks. The pacing felt a bit odd and the text a bit long in some places (maybe from translation?) but the illustrations are packed with color and fun characters. Fun to read with my 4myear-old.

My daughter loved this book, the storyline was adorable, the illustrations were cute, and she loved using how the vampire talks in an accent. We took turns reading it together and used different voices. The book even though contained monsters and vampires, it wasn't "zcary" at all. Lovely book.

This was a short cute book on helping others. I enjoyed the illustrations and the great dialogue. Everything seemed so natural. It was easy to follow for young readers and the entire layout of the book seemed to *pop* because of the well placed art and text. This is a great new book for the season and I enjoyed it.

This is a cute little book about a vampire who wants to be scary so that he will pass his vampire test. A little girl feels sorry for him, so she helps him. The illustrations are bright and colorful and wonderfully done.

A young, tiny vampire has trouble giving the scare of his life, until he meets a new friend willing to help. This was a cute, if not somewhat absurd, little picture book that's perfect for younger students who want a quick Halloween read.

This is a really cute book for kids. That you can do anything thats possible, though having friends who help, can help you do the impossible.
