This was my first ever audiobook that I was listening.
Narrator had a nice voice, but It was weird for me listening to him about shouting OMG, OMG, OMG- gimme your ****...

I had to speed up audio to 1.25.
about the story- I didn't read the description so I didn't know it was about domination and BDSM which isn't my thing. That's why this book wasn't appealing to me and I skipped some scenes because of that.

** 2.5 **
This is a story that you will either like or just didn't find it hit for whatever reason. For me, it was the inconsistencies and numerous little things mentioned throughout the book (that didn't contribute to furthering the plot or growth of the characters along) that dragged the story on and on and on.

Let's talk about inconsistencies. The MMC much, much later in the book will get upset about the fact with his inability to speak the words "I love you". Earlier I in the book, he says these words. Now I listened to this book, so I don't know if it was internal dialogue but when the FMC responded back with the same words I assumed they were vocal. The inability to speak love words becomes a huge thing. I was SO confused about. I felt like I had missed something.

The place of this book made me feel like I was trapped in quarantine while trapped in quarantine. It was torture. It was so slow. I read (or in this case listen to books) to escape the mundane dreary day-to-day toil, but this book literally was telling what they are every day; where they went; who they saw, even if it didn't matter to the plot development. It was so tedious. Don't even get me started on the ending after the culmination. I won't ruin it, but what was the point of all of that. Yes it was sweet, but once again "What was the point to the over all story?!?"

As to the narrator, I'm not really like listening to a male do female voices. I usually sounds like my brother trying to sound like a girl and failing. This narrator want too bad but he wasn't one of my favorites.

Overall this story was a take it out leave it for me.

This book is about an erotic love story in the BDSM scene. The plot is quite interesting with unexpected turn of events keeping the readers'/auditors' interest. I listened to the audiobook and Inreally enjoyed the narrators. Definitely an audiobook I would recommend.

This romance book stands apart from its peers in that there is so much more depth in the lives of the characters. This book will have you feeling all the feels. The audiobook version was wonderful! Very quick read! Thank you to NetGalley and Spectrum Audio for a copy of this book for an honest review.

This book will definitely pull you in and consume every beat of your heart. I loved Steffen and Shiela. They both found each other when their life was spinning in circles. They love they felt for each other and the utter hopelessness they both felt when their world fell apart. This story will tear you into pieces then slowly rebuild you back a piece at a time.

With the new NetGalley shelf I have suddenly discovered the joy of listening to audio books whilst out for my daily walk.
This book was only the second audio book I had ever downloaded and was hooked on the story from the beginning.
There was a part of the story, about three quarters of the way through, that I found skipped over too many 'issues' in the couples relationship and felt that the h was quite self-centred and I began to unlike her attitude to both herself and others around her.
There were a number of occasions where I did wince at the content, as it sounded quite painful! but overall it was a good listen.
Definitely worth listening to. I look forward to the next one in the series

There was no doubt this was an adult romance with a little something extra. Shelia and Steffen found something more in a relationship built inside of a different kind of relationship. I found Steffen to be more than the man we meet in book one of this series. I found that I also liked Steffen and Sheila's relationship more than I did the first couple of the series. Sheila and Steffen were both finding their way but in different ways.

I enjoyed the aspects of their coming together. I loved more the way that Steffen wanted to make it something more than just club and the lifestyle. I loved Sheila for growing past the circumstances that brought her to where she was in that time.

Tor Thom gave a different feel to the narration aspect.

Unforgettable You is the second in the Bliss Series. This one follows Stephen and Sheila who are both in the first book in the series. We see their story unfold from Stephen's point of view. The narration was infinitely better than the first. Stephen's voice is very manly and brings the character to life. Be warned, this story is more violent/graphic than the first. While the narration was better, the characters fell in love too quickly. Several times I feel like the story should have been over, there was no where else for the author to go. I wish the love story had been more drawn out like the first one.

When Sheila walks into the bdsm club with her friends, Clint and Trish, Steffan's life is changed. Ready for a relationship after being badly hurt, he just had not found the right woman. Sheila too has had her bad luck with men, and is willing to give love another try. Will this lifestyle be the one for her? Will the two weather the secrets being held? Deanndra Hall gives us the second book in the Bliss series, a love story that is not only steamy but delicate and loving. Sheila surprised me. She is a loving woman, but her hurt runs so deep, forgiveness does not seem to be an option. Yet she loves the lifestyle and the man. Steffan infuriated me for a while. It was only a matter of time. But Hall does find the silver lining of love. Not easy to hear for me in a couple of scenes, her ability to let us feel the rawness of betrayal and the warmth of love is beautiful. It's a great story and has a couple of other exciting surprises for us as well. Tor Thom brings it all to life. His warm voice is perfect for Steffan. He can switch from the overpowering dom voice to the warm compassionate voice in an instant, pouring out sensuality and tenderness. He lets us into Sheila's world with a voice full of confidence, and then lets us feel her betrayal and love. His portrays all the emotions and gives us a fantastic listen.

I received this and as an audio galley to listen to for free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Spectrum Audio for giving me access.

This was so much better than the first book. It had a story, a plot, it had feeling. There was some intense moments and I am not just talking about the sex. The past that came back to haunt Steffen and the secrets that past brings with. This one kept me interested from the very beginning until the end and gives me hope for the rest of the series.

Audio book was narrated amazingly

Book 2 in the Bliss series is told from Steffen’s point of view. He was the Dom who fell for Trish in the first book Adventurous Me, but Trish ended up with his friend Clint.

Steffen the blonde Viking is a lonely and compassionate Dom who is introduced to Trish’s gorgeous best friend Sheila. As they become Dom and sub in the sex club called Bliss, the trust builds as they start dating and spending more time together. Then Steffen’s past comes back to haunt him and Sheila goes dark.

Sheila was abused in her previous relationship so she doesn’t trust easily, but Steffen is like no other. He is patient, understanding, and well-versed in BDSM. She is falling in love with him and things are getting serious until Steffen shatters her world.

Sheila and Steffen fall hard and fast for each other and their love is wonderful to see, but Steffen loses her trust, and Sheila almost destroys herself while grieving for the man she loves so much. She goes down the dark hole which is incredibly disturbing and personally, I think she needs counseling after what she endured. Needle play. Ouch!!

It all ends in a HEA with some very heartwarming scenes such as Steffen’s loving grand gesture for both his wife and his mother and the awesome steps Steffen and Sheila take to complete their happiness.

It was also good to see Trish and Clint from book 1 who have a surprise in store for them. Their amazing support is truly a lifesaver for Steffen and Sheila. And of, course Dave from the club is a great friend and mentor who can be counted on to help in any way possible. 😉 Let’s just say, I can’t wait to read his story.

Unforgettable You is not just erotica and BDSM (which is very hot!), but a romance with real characters (who are refreshingly over 40 years old) and honest emotions. This story includes serious subjects like abuse, cancer, depression, and adoption. There were times when I laughed, cried, flinched, and just languished in their afterglow. In addition, the audiobook narrator, Tor Thom, has the perfect deep sexy voice that makes the story flow very nicely. If you would like to read about the BDSM scene with couples who truly care about each other, sit back with a glass of wine and give this audiobook, and the series, a try. If you are squeamish about in-your-face sex acts, this may not be the book for you.

Thank you to Ms. Hall for giving me the opportunity to listen to this audiobook with no expectation of a positive review.

Book two of the Bliss series. This book was more enjoyable than the first. You can feel the love, hurt and pain the charters go through. The ending is sweet. A good read. I am reviewing the audiobook. I really enjoyed the narrator. He did a fantastic job.

Steffen is a Dom who would like nothing more than a woman to share his life with but his history when it comes to love is difficult. When he meets Sheila through mutual friends he is drawn to her in a way he has never felt before and what starts out as a relationship at the club turns into so much more. The only thing that could derail their happiness is that instead of being upfront about his past he tries to remedy it on his own and heartbreak ensues.

Sheila made the mistake of trusting the wrong man in the past and she paid the price both physically and emotionally. She has developed strong feelings for Steffen however when she finds out he has been less than honest it propels her into a dangerous situation. When Steffen comes to her rescue will this be their second chance or is the betrayal she feels too strong to overcome?

Both Steffen and Sheila bear the scars of their pasts and it has an impact on their relationship. The chemistry between them is intense and with trust and understanding they can have the life they both deserve. I thought the narrator did a great job with the story and the characters.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc!

I have been really into romances lately. I really, really wanted to like this one. But the narrator was terrible.
Another thing I had a hard time with was the plot and story line. There really was very little of a plot.

I have received this audio book in exchange for a honest review.

This is the second book in the me, you, us series by Deanndra Hall.. in the first book Trish introduces us to her friend Shiela. A friend who was there for her after her whole world is turned upside down. At the end of adventurous me Trish makes note that Shiela has taken a liking to a Dom from club bliss Stefan. Flash forward to book two where Shiela and Stefan meet vaguely at Trish and Clints wedding. Trish has sparked some intrigue in Shiela about the world of BDSM. Clint and Trish quickly assess how great Stefan would be as a Dom for the new little sub to be Shiela. Shiela quickly takes a liking to Stefan who after being burned and left raw in the past has his own dark secrets. Can Shiela open up to her new Master or will her inability to trust men after her last left her battered and beaten leave her too shattered to trust again? Stefan has a dark secret that he can’t seem to spill to Shiela in fear that she will leave him with an empty void like he has never felt before.

**REVIEW**
It was nice to delve back into Club bliss with the characters we have been introduced to in book one. Shiela was a like able enough character and did have development and growth, but I found it to be a little less than believable that she would leave Stefan without accepting any kind of explanation. Especially considering what she turned to once she felt stung and betrayed by him. Shiela turns to some extreme forms of BDSM with some of the most sadistic Doms. Shiela had issues to do with trust due to the abuse she had to deal with from her drug addicted ex who beat her into within an inch of her life. With that being said why would a woman who has such issues with trust and abuse engage in the more extreme side of BDSM such as needle and knife play? It does how ever make the story interesting but does pull on some of the strings of the story. Stefan for being the big bad Dom of bliss that he is, actually comes of as a bit self deprecating. Which once again goes against the grain of any Dominating mans personality. Other than those minor flaws I felt the story was decently written and the narrator did a good job of being able to voice each character. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read previous erotic BDSM books and like a story to pull on your heart strings.

This is book 2 in the series and much much better than book 1. There was a lot more romance and heart in this story to go along with the erotic side of it.

Steffen was great! I really enjoyed Sheila for most of the story but I think she overreacted a lot and it then took the story in a direction I didn't like or enjoy. Some hard-core stuff happened that I didn't find sexy and not my cup of tea.

The narrator, Tor Thom, was fantastic. Very sexy voice for both the male and female parts. I really enjoy listening to him and was a huge selling point in wanting to listen to book 2. He also turned a 3-star book into a 4-star audiobook.

Thank you to Spectrum Audio and Netgalley for the ALC; all opinions are my own.

I received an early listener's copy from NetGalley, thanks for the listen. First of all, I really enjoyed Tor Thom's narration. He has a beautifully soothing voice though quite strong so I felt like he was pretty well paired to play Steffen. But he also managed a really really nice female voice. Definitely a really nicely variable voice.

The story was a 3 stars read/listen for me. It was mostly steam although there was the backstory of Sheila's abusive ex. I liked both characters- Steffan was a sweetheart and Sheila was innocent but adventurous which made her foray into dominance games exciting. Of course, I would say a good 3/4 of the book was about this aspect of their relationship so it felt a little long to me. I wanted to learn more about their relationship beyond this aspect; there was a lie of omission that the couple had to contend with. Also, for those who don't like this, (and I'm one of them) the couple does have relations with other people even after they are together (they broke up due to the lie of omission).

Regardless, it was a good listen because of Tor Thom (which was the main reason I requested a listen). and I would have enjoyed the book even more if it was a little shorter and there wasn't the part about relations with other people.

I actually really enjoyed this book. I wasn't a huge fan of book 1 but I decided to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did. Steffan really wanted a relationship and was very broken up when Trish didn't choose him but now its his turn.

Sheila is trying to get back out there after a hideous breakup with her finance. Still leery of Trish's new life she decides to give this whole BDSM thing a try and Steffan steps up to take on the challenge. As Steffan slowly introduces her to BDSM things speed up and start going really well until Sheila finds out about Steffans wife!

This is a much better book than the 1st. Although I think she should have given Steffan the opportunity to explain things I appreciate her thinking him a liar. Definitely worth the read.
