Thank you for the opportunity to review The Many Lives of Pusheen the Cat. First of all, I can remember when Pusheen first came out on the Facebook Messenger sticker set. It was really so transformative for online communication because that's all me and my friends used for emoticons for a long time! Jokes aside, I think that many people agree that Pusheen is really, really cute. This book is a collection of Pusheen doing various things in the forms the art has taken over time (my fav is the detective and classic depiction). Some puns and jokes along the way, as well as nods to the daily life with a cat. I liked the "place your order" and "send it back" jokes about getting fed. Too right.

Here's the honest bit: this book won't really make sense to anyone who doesn't like Pusheen. It's just a collection of pictures of the cat and some minor wording underneath. Therefore, the marketability or relevance is key in enjoying this book. Otherwise, you will maybe think... "uh.. okay?" At the very least, you'll enjoy some really cute art. But I just wanted to say that the appeal probably must come with already liking the comic in the first place.

A great book for someone who is a cat lover or a gift for someone who's just gotten a cat. The pictures are charming and if you are a cat owner you are bound to recognize your cat in some of the situations pictured here. It's more a "coffee table" book or a "bathroom book", something someone can pick up to thumb through when they have a little time and don't want to get involved in something that requires reading the entire thing.
It would also be perfect for a vet's office, particularly one who specializes in cats. People of all ages can enjoy it, get a smile from it, see their own pet on a page or two.
Well done.

I have been following Pusheen’s adventures for quite a while, so I was excited to have the chance to spend time with her in this delightful collection. Pusheen (and her creator) key into some of the feline attributes that will appeal to their fans. In this collection, Pusheen is imagined in different guises, from Mermaid Pusheen to Dragonsheen. My own personal favorite is Detective Pusheen. I also loved the entry on being a good roommate. Those who are looking for some gentle humor will enjoy this title.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of The Many Lives of Pusheen the Cat.

The Kindle format was all over the place but from what I could make out, Pusheen is adorable as always.

There's no plot; just Pusheen being a cat in a variety of cat-ish positions, sweet and cuddly.

Who doesn't love Pusheen?

I won't penalize the publisher for the less than ideal Kindle format but it was very bad.

Who doesn't love Pusheen? Pusheen really likes food, is relatable, and knows a good pun. This book would be perfect for any fan of Pusheen!

Kindly received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The Many Lives of Pusheen the Cat is a cute illustrated collection dedicated to everyone's favorite internet sensation, Pusheen. Due out 16th March 2021 from Simon & Schuster on their Gallery imprint, it's 192 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.

This is exactly as described; a collection of color pages of Pusheen and friends in hundreds of poses with short, often humorous descriptions of a few words. The cartoons are from one to multiple panels and contain Pusheen in different guises and with different settings.

The chapters are arranged around Pusheen's different incarnations: Pusheen, Pusheenicorn, Super Pusheenicorn, Mermaid Pusheen, Dinosheen (& Pusheenosaurus), Pastel Pusheen, Dragonsheen, Detective Pusheen, and Pugsheen. The collection includes an absurd abundance of Pusheen doing adorable stuff.

Four stars. This would make a great public or classroom library acquisition, gift for a Pusheen fan, or potentially nice choice (bundled with drawing supplies?) for a young artist. Lots of fun. I've never met anyone who doesn't love Pusheen.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Don’t miss this new collection of Pusheen comics if you like to smile. There are some old favorite and new soon to be favorites in this collection. It’s always cute, and it’s a nice break in the day.

I love the art. I love the simplicity. You don’t need long, complicated plot lines when your main character looks like Pusheen. There are separate sections for different Pusheen characters, like a unicorn and a dinosaur, and many more. It’s out on March 16th, so keep an eye out for it.

A lighthearted and charming collection of various comics and art featuring Pusheen the cat and her family & friends. The book is a fast read full of sweet humor and cheerful characters that will appeal to teens and adults. The crisp and colorful art is eye-catching and attractive and the book can be enjoyed without any prior knowledge of the Pusheen character. Cat lovers in particular will enjoy this book, as well as anyone looking for an uncomplicated read full of joy and fun.

This is an absolutely darling book that is sure to delight fans of the Sanrio universe, be they young or old.

The illustrations and color palette are both perfectly rendered for Sanrio and Pusheen as well as just generally visually appealing.

The book is structured as a series of mini bios for all of the iterations of Pusheen, from the basic model to Pusheencorn to the Dinosheen. All are sweet and clever, with minimal but charming captions.

I enjoyed the little jokes and plays on words, but it’s the visual aspect of the book that is the true standout. This is one that both I and my young daughter will both revisit again and again.

This would be such a good book for a child that loves cats or loves these characters. I remember being so excited about Hello Kitty's Keroppi, the cute frog. I would save up my money for everything about that character and I could see the same about the cute cats. It would be a nice book to recieve or to have in a classroom library of I was an elementary school child.

Adorable art. I'm a fan of the puns, so wish more was in here (example it could have used: Pawsitive Outlook for Pugsheen instead of the Positive).

We all like Pusheen in our house, so it's difficult for us to not like this.

This is a cute book that I could see giving to many of my cat-loving friends. It's not plot driven or even story based but mostly pictures of Pusheen the cat with few words detailing things cats do or enjoy. Cute.

This collection of Pusheen comics will delight fans and those unfamiliar with the character. Pusheen is shown in a large variety of adorable, sweet, and colorful comics. This time, Pusheen also shows off some of her personas: Pusheenicorn, Pusheenasaurus, Pastel Pusheen, and many more. The comics are very simple and straight forward, but are all very clever and cheery. This is a great book for Pusheen fans.
