listen, if you want a steamy romance that gets to the point quickly and never slows down the pace, this series from Alexander fits the bill!

This book was enjoyable right down to the last hot-moment. I'm thankful for a quick, romance to get me through the weekend.

This one was not as fun or good as the first one. It was very difficult to like the characters. But it was super steamy!

There is not much to the plot in this book. I guess some people might not want much plot but I do. I found myself bored very quickly.

Kayla the 1 woman I can’t forget. Beautiful but filled with secrets. After that one time at my friends BDSM club when she ran after witnessing a caning. Can I overcome her fears and make her mine? This is the question Nick must ask himself.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Well this book did not disappoint either and again I was hooked from the first page the characters were abit different in this book but the outline was GREAT I pre ordered book 3 as soon as I finished this one and it's a series I'm excited to read more of I wish I could give the series more than 5 stars

This was the first book I have read by this author. It was a good book and I enjoyed reading it. The storyline was great and the book was easy to read. I loved the characters.

Another hot read and I really enjoy this series. The characters are realistic and normal - Kayla and Nick have great chemistry together and there are some emotional scars that Kayla must overcome and he is willing to help her. His love and care for her is lovely and I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

I received a complimentary copy of Come hot in exchange for an honest review. If you are into BDSM and lot so drama then this is a good fit. Nick and Kayla definitely kept things interesting.

A very sexy read with many scenes involving light BDSM but I felt the story was missing a couple details. Why was Nick so anti-marriage? The story finishes with an HEA, yet it didn’t go into how Nick‘s view on marriage changed. While there were many physical scenes, there didn’t seem to be any emotional growth scenes. Kayla grew up in an abusive family yet such a traumatic past was only briefly mentioned. Nor did Nick and Kayla really address her fears regarding some parts of BDSM. There was even one intimate scene where I felt the sequence of movements and position of body parts didn’t work.

I'll blame this one entirely on myself, i wast in the proper moment to read this. To be very fair i requested both this one and first book, at the same time.
I found this book better than the first one, why i couldn't tell you, really. Overall it left me with a hollow feeling of reading just another sexy book. Good to pass the time, fun even, but not very memorable or different from a lot of others in the same category.

I didn't think anything would top the first book in this series, but this one did and that's a difficult task to accomplish. I loved the book and I hope to read more from the author. I loved the first book so much, I told my book club about and now everyone is reading the books. We can't wait for more.

I received a complimentary copy of Come Hot from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
I have to give Jerrie Alexander credit here. This was a more engaging book than the first one in the "stand alone series". I enjoyed the chemistry between this couple and the interactions seemed a bit more realistic. Though I was not really looking forward to reading this one, it surprised me and was a relatively good book for this genre.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

I requested both this and the first in the series at the same time, which I probably shouldn’t have done since the first one wasn’t really my cup of tea.
I did enjoy this one slightly more than Come Hard, though it has a lot of the same issues. The relationship develops very fast, which I guess is the nature of novellas, but I always find myself wanting more buildup. I did like the sex better in this one though.
Overall this was an okay read, but not very memorable. I finished it about a week ago and honestly can’t remember much of what happened.
Thank you to NetGalley and Jerrie Alexander for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Come hot is the second book in the club silken series. While it is a continuation of the first book, it can also be read alone as the former main characters are minor characters in this story. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Kayla and nick. It was a great story that showed how both character showed growth from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the third book.

This is the second in the series and I really enjoyed this story. The characters had a more in depth description having been carried over from book one. I felt like I knew them and was able to feel their connection.
I recommend this for a steamy and happily ever after book.

Wow oh wow. So steamy and dirty. Definitely wil keep reading more books by this author. This is what erotic fiction is all about. Thank you for a great book .

This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. Kayla ran from Nick right before they were to scene together at Club Silken. Now 6th months later she is back and must walk down the aisle together at a wedding. The sparks are still there is Kayla ready this time? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and intense chemistry. Great characters and a sizzling story. I loved it!

Jerrie Alexander’s “Come Hot” continues from the first of the Club Silken series. Six months ago, Kayla abruptly leaves town for some kind of emergency, leaving Nick to wonder what had caused her to leave like that. However, she returns for her friend’s wedding to be a bridesmaid, only to find out that the groomsman assigned to be her partner is Nick. It is when Nick and Kayla’s wedding assignment that brings them closer, and the time they spend together - whether in the bedroom or at Club Silken - is time well-spent.
Through the story, we discover Kayla’s horrific past and our understanding of her is threefold: what drives her to let go and strive to be a different person; how she wants to be free of the past, as well as a person to have the freedom to be bold and vulnerable; and how she takes up Nick’s offer for leading her down a path of passion she has always longed for.
“Come Hot” is similar to its sequel in that there is your fair share of angst and raw sex. This was a bit more fast-paced and that’s probably because in the first one, there was a lot more “teaching” in the ways of Club Silken. It’s an erotic romance where it may start out as a sex-only relationship, but you are guaranteed a HEA.
Thanks to NetGalley for sending me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you've read the first book in the series, you know what to expect. The erotic scenes are as hot and steamy as the ones in 'Come hard', but I believe the author did take more risks with Kayla's character in this one. If you remember, Kayla ran away, while Zach's friend and business partner Nick was showing her around 'Club Silken'. We find out that Kayla was a victim of physical abuse and had a lot of therapy to put her childhood experiences behind her. She needs someone who respects her limits and puts her needs first, and she finds this special someone in Nick.
Looking forward to the third book in the series.
