A loving reflection on Jonathan Pitts late wife and his time of grief afterwards. A vulnerable and open look at how his community helped him and how he has see God through it all. A great book to share with those who have lost and those walking along side someone who has experienced loss.

When I noticed this book on NetGalley, I knew it was one I would want to read. I am very familiar with the teachings of Dr. Tony Evans and his family and have heard both him and Priscilla Shirer mention this devastating event in their family. This is a heartbreaking and yet beautiful story told by Jonathan as he looks back at losing his wife of 15 years suddenly and testifies to the goodness and faithfulness of God in the process. He tells the story with so much strength and is truly an inspiration. I couldn’t help but shed tears while reading but I also finished the book feeling I gained such a hopeful perspective and so thankful for the hope of eternity. I would highly recommend.
