I'm not a werewolves fan, but Fables is a nice blend of high quality prose and exceptional artwork. The mystery that drives the plot keeps the story moving and, for a graphic novel, builds a surprising amount of suspense. I'm not sure the story's internal logic is entirely coherent but maybe that doesn't matter in a fable. Regardless, this is a good effort and a visual treat for fans of fables.
