Set in 1867, at Settler's Fort, in the mountains of the Montana Territory. Laura Hannon assists and lives with the town doctor and his wife. She has been through a previous ordeal and is working on forgiving one of the men involved in her kidnapping. After twisting an ankle she is assisted by Nate the twin brother of an angry patient at her work clinic. With Nate she returns to explore a cave she has found on the mountain and which starts them on an adventure and mystery.

This is a squeaky clean, Christian romance and I enjoyed the main characters. The recognition of God and his works is more overt than I am use to in my reading. But it flows naturally asking for Gods strength or acknowledging his power or works. This is also the third in a series and while I read it on its own I did feel I was missing some of the build up that would have led to this story. The pace was also slow for me. The first half was a lot of let's visit the cave or the Indians or let's injure ourselves yet again. The story picked up in the latter part of the story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bethany House Publishers for an ARC ebook in exchange for a honest review.

After I read Love’s Mountain Quest, I was curious how the story would continue for Laura. She had experienced deep trauma as the result of a kidnapping and trying to keep young Samuel safe. She desperately tries to move on with her life, but it becomes difficult when she must see the men who kidnapped her on a regular basis.

I enjoyed reading about Laura and Nate’s growing relationship. I felt like I could connect with the characters and their struggle to work through all their past hurts. I love how Misty Beller wrote Nate’s journey as he was learning what it looked like to be a new Christian. His hunger and desire to make the right choice and to now live for Christ was encouraging.

My favorite quote was about the trials and wounds we face: “Yet, none of them surprised God, and He could and would work all things together for their good. All they had to do was keep working as the tasks He’s given each of them.” This was an excellent reminder in my present daily situations I face. I love when God speaks to me even through a fiction book.

Being book #3, I feel as if it could be a stand alone but the depth is so much more meaningful when read in order. It helps get an understanding of the characters and their experiences since they continue to build upon each other. I enjoyed seeing other characters that the readers get to know in previous books.

I would really recommend reading this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own and I was not required to leave a positive review.

Faith’s Mountain Home by Misty M. Beller is the third book in her Hearts of Montana series. In the previous book, Love’s Mountain Quest, we meet both Laura Hannon and Nate Long when Laura is kidnapped along with a little boy, which means Faith’s Mountain Home will offer spoilers for Love’s Mountain Quest.

If you’ve read Love’s Mountain Quest, then perhaps Faith’s Mountain Home has been on your book wish list ever since. I know it has been on mine. I couldn’t wait to see the circle close around the group of characters we’ve come to know through the Hearts of Montana series. Would Laura and Nate find forgiveness and redemption? And maybe love, too?

Though we only got a glimpse of Nate in the previous book, he was a character I liked from the start. That didn’t change in Faith’s Mountain Home. It was easy to root for him. Laura, too. Their desire to help others, no matter the cost, is clearly evident.

Faith’s Mountain Home is a wonderful conclusion to the Hearts of Montana series. It’s an entertaining and uplifting read. I definitely recommend adding both this book and this series to your to-be-read list.

Another engaging mountain romance from Misty. I love the settings for her books.

It was so nice to see the redemption of Nate and even Aaron. In the previous book we meet these characters and hints are dropped that there might be something brewing with Nate and Laura. But have no worries if you haven’t read the previous books, you will still fully enjoy this one.

At first I wasn’t sure if this would have a satisfying ending but it did, of course I can’t tell you how. Just know it is worth it to read until the end and get the complete full circle of this story.

A copy of this book was given to me through Celebrate Lit. All opinions are my own.

Have you ever read a book or watched a movie where once you finished it, you had to take a few moments to think about what you just read or watched… because it was THAT good? Yeah, this was one of those books for me. I’ve loved all of Misty Beller’s books that I’ve read, but I think this one is her best one so far.

So the book is about Laura Hannon, a young lady who struggles with forgiving a man who participated in her kidnapping, while at the same time living with the guilt that she shot that same man and may have ruined his life. Then there’s Nate Long, who knows that God has forgiven and changed him: however, he struggles with forgiving himself and seeing that he is not the same man he was before. And finally, last but not least, there’s Aaron,(Nate’s brother) who is angry with God and the world. He’s s furious that Laura shot his leg and now he won’t ever walk again. Hr refuses to take responsibility for his past actions and he has a very bitter outlook on life.

Overall, this book is a beautiful story of love, forgiveness and redemption as you follow these three characters (and many more) on their journey to where God wants them. The book has everything – romance, adventure, humor and just a dash of suspense. I recommend this book to anyone who likes historical fiction or just wants to read a great heartwarming story. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Misty M. Beller has established herself as an author of books set in the mountains with all the struggles and dangers that come along with that. Faith’s Mountain Home takes readers to mines and town.

While I read the first book in the series, I missed the second, but did not feel lost while reading this one (however, I always enjoy a book more when I know the full backstory from previous books). Laura’s kidnapping (in book two) has changed her, but she doesn’t want to become fearful or unforgiving, so she cares for one of the men responsible for her trauma.

Both Laura and Nate struggle with their pasts. Nate made a bad choice and is now paying for it (both figuratively and literally). He admires Laura and her determination, but he feels he is not a good enough man for Laura.

This is a book about how God redeems. No matter the choices we made, no matter our experiences, no matter the date on the calendar, God loves his children and makes them new when they cry out to him

Thank you to Bethany House Publishing and Netgalley for a gifted copy of Faith's Mountain Home by Misty M. Beller. All opinions are my own.

Laura Hannon lives and works with the local doctor and his wife in Settler's Fort. She is still recovering emotionally from her recent kidnapping and from her long ago past. Nate Long has so many things he feels guilty about. He spends his days working hard and visiting his brother, Aaron, at the local doctor's house. The story is one of starting over and feeling worthy but it's also about forgiveness in yourself as well as others.

I do not want to give away too much of the story on this one because it is the third book in the Hearts of Montana series. I enjoyed the second book in the series, Love's Mountain Quest, last summer. This would work as a stand alone read but I recommend reading the previous books also. I'm looking forward to continuing this series.

Can she forgive? Can he find redemption?

It was the first book in the Hearts Of Montana series that got me started reading Misty M. Beller's historical romances. While waiting for the following books in that series I read, or rather listened to, one of her earlier series. But, now with Faith's Mountain Home I've come back around to the series that started it all for me.

After reading the previous book in the Hearts Of Montana series I've been waiting months for Faith's Mountain Home. I'd come to admire Laura for her bravery, determination, and kindness, and I so very much wanted to see her find healing, and love, after her terrible ordeal. The jury was still a bit out for me about Nate, on the one hand he tried to do the right thing when Laura was kidnapped but on the other he was still an outlaw. But, I needn't have worried, in this book Misty M. Beller more than wiped away any reservations that I still harbored about our hero.

Danger and romance blend together in this story of faith and forgiveness that is sure to entertain. From the pretty cover design to the last page Faith's Mountain Home is a good read and a great addition to Misty M. Beller's Hearts Of Montana series. If historical romance is your thing you should definitely check out this series...

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I don’t know how author Misty M Beller comes up with the mountain living stories she writes but she does, and she has written another winner in Faith’s Mountain Home! I love the visit back with some of my favorite characters, plus a few new ones added to the mix. This story takes up after Laura and Samuel were kidnapped and found. Nate Long has been looking after his brother Aaron since the shooting, with little help from Aaron. Nate also has an attraction for Laura that he just can’t shake. And how can this twisted tale ever make sense?

I love, love this story. Nate and Laura are such interesting and flawed characters and I love the attraction between the two. It’s true that this book is a little more laid back than the first two, not as much action going one but I love it just as well. Laura was a good fit for the clinic, and having to deal with Aaron and his attitude was difficult, but she handles it well and even reaches out to him. Nate is my favorite though, he’s such a sweet caring person but I did get frustrated at him for letting his brother’s attitude bring him down, and especially for working so hard to pay Aaron’s part of the restitution. I always love the way Ms. Beller weaves such strong faith in the Lord in the lives of her characters. I sure hope we see more from these characters and this series. I give this one Five Stars and wish I could give it more.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

I am reviewing a copy of Faith’s Mountain Home through Bethany House Publishers and Netgalley:

Faith’s Mountain Home transports us to the Montana Territory in 1867, where we meet Laura Hannon as well as Nate Long.

Nate Long has has always watched over his identical twin brother, Aaron, even when it put him on the wrong side of the law. After Aaron is wounded in a shootout, the brothers are taken to Settler's Fort to recover. As Nate works to make reparations for their past, he marvels at the nursing Aaron receives under the care of a woman with all the reason in the world to resent him.

Laura Hannon is no stranger to starting over, and she knows too that Nate’s newfound faith is real. What she is unable to look past is how far he allowed himself to be led astray by his brother's weaknesses.

Just as a fledgling trust begins to grow between Nate and Laura, they stumble upon a mysterious cave in the mountains that may not be as uninhabited as it seems. Will they find the new lives they seek for themselves include love while working together to unravel the secrets surrounding the cave, or do they have to much standing between them?

I give Faith’s Mountain Home five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

I love Misty M Beller’s writing and adore her Hearts of Montana series. I was excited to find out that the third installment from the series was releasing. It was an honor to have the opportunity to read Faith's Mountain Home and was far from being disappointed. Even though it is part of a series, I believe it can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed reading Nate and Laura’s story. I was not sure about Laura at first but she quickly grew on me as I saw how much she had grown throughout the book. This was a wonderful, faith filled and inspirational tale. I loved it.

I am giving Faith's Mountain Home a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean historical romance.

I received Faith's Mountain Home from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

Do you like books? Well, you probably do if you are reading this…..
Misty M. Beller has become one of my favorite authors over the last year as I have kept up with her new books and gone back and read her previous books. In each one she creates this beautiful connection between the reader and her characters that is phenomenal. Faith’s Mountain Home is a bit of a different focus than most of Misty M. Beller’s other books in that the characters do not travel all over the west, they mainly stay in a mining town. But after learning a bit about the main characters of this book in the last one Loves Mountain Quest I was really excited to learn more about Nate and Lauren and Misty M. Beller did not disappoint. Both Lauren and Nate showed great growth as individuals and their faith really showed through. I enjoyed the themes that Misty M. Beller wove into this story as they were realistic and had real life applications. Plus, the storyline hooked my interest with the opening line “Just a little farther. Laura Hannon dared another step on the rock ledge that wrapped around the mountain.” It was a great start and the momentum kept going throughout the book.

Overall, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for the great character development, the themes presented, the the great display of faith throughout this book.

This book is the third book in Hearts of Montana series and it continues the journey of Nate and Aaron with fluency, skill, and depth expected from this beloved author in 1867 Montana Territory. I would highly recommend reading this series in order since the each book picks up where the previous left off.

Laura struggles from her kidnapping incident though she's settled in to being the town doctor's assistant. Her sweet, tender, and ever helpful spirit is also stricken with the fact that she accidentally shattered Aaron's leg. Nate, Aaron's twin and a reformed thief, works hard and saves every penny so that he can repay those whom he robbed in the past. Though plagued by past insecurities and hurts, Laura and Nate cling to their faith and hope, which is incredibly heart-warming. This book is a bit different from the author's usual fare - it concentrates less on battling wintery forces and wilderness of the western mountainous frontier but centers around the growing mining town and the dangers of greed. The themes of overcoming adversity and bitterness, true forgiveness, as well as relying on God and His strength and timing are studded throughout the story and bring much hope when Laura and Nate are facing difficulties and uncertainties. If you enjoy historical romance, you will definitely enjoy this book.

I received the book via Celebrate Lit Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are solely my own.

I was excited to read the third book in this delightful series after enjoying the first two so much. I do recommend that these books be read in order as the story continues throughout all of them. I liked the characters a lot and loved how their faith grew in the story. The setting was very well described and I could easily envision the Western setting. The historical aspect was also well done, as the struggles of living in such a rugged place came to life on the pages. There is a thread of suspense in the novel to keep it interesting and the romance is clean and poignant. I liked this book and recommend it to those who enjoy historical fiction!

"Faith's Mountain Home" is the third book in this series by Misty M. Beller, but each could be read as a stand-alone novel. This novel didn't have quite the same level of tension that I enjoyed in the first book in the series. There was a friends to romance trope, made more interesting by the fact that the leading man, Nate, played a part in the heroine, Laura's, kidnapping in a previous book in the series. By the time you get to this book, though, any point of contention between them really isn't there. It's a sweet story of the two of them helping each other through various trials, and Nate's perseverance in making amends for his past wrongs and becoming a man of honor. The cave they discover was interesting at the beginning of the novel, but became more commonplace as the story continued. There was a bit of action and some nice romantic moments (clean) added in, which were good but didn't have quite the build up that made them elicit all the feels that the first book did for me. Overall, a pleasant Christian fiction read.

**I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in order to share my honest opinions, which I did.**

This is book 3 or the Hearts of Montana series. Nate and Aaron are twins that are on the wrong side of the law and end up getting shot. Nate takes it upon himself to make good for he and his brother's mistake. When Nate becomes friends with his brother's nurse, Laura, jealousy between the brother's begins. Laura is determined to get past the brother's problems and sets out to help both of them. When Nate and Laura become even closer, they find a mystery in a cave and both are determined to find out what this all means? Can they both overcome faith? Will the brothers be able to reconcile with each other?

If you liked the first 2 books in the series, this one will not let you down. You will be as entertained reading this book as the other 2. The mystery, drama and love in this book keeps your attention from beginning until the very end. You can read this as a stand alone and not feel you have missed something.

Thanks to Bethany House for the free review copy.
This was such a great wrap-up to this trilogy. I enjoyed getting to be back with Ingrid and Micah and seeing where they were while getting the story of Laura, Nate, and Aaron - especially with everything that happened with them in book two. I enjoyed the POV of Laura and Nate because they each are vastly different, yet they will always be connected due to events in book two.I liked how they were forced to work together due to injury and their desire to help others. I also liked the reliance that the characters had on God throughout this story. This is a beautiful story of redemption.

Faith’s Mountain Home, by Misty M. Beller, is books three in the Hearts of Montana series. This story takes place in 1867 in the Montana territory. This story takes over where the second in the series ends with the same characters, so it is best to read them in order to get the whole story. The author does a good job of filling in the past for those who want to read it as a stand alone story.

Following a kidnapping in book two, Laura is staying with the local doctor and his wife while helping him. She shot one of her kidnappers and he has been a patient since. His brother, Nate, visits him every day after working in the mine to pay off the people the gang stole from.

This is such a good series. I enjoy the good clean story of a friendship that builds into something more. I especially enjoy see the change that takes place in Nate following his decision to follow Jesus. The determination he has to pay back those they stole from as fast as possible is remarkable. He lives in a tent and hunts for his food to work towards his goal and to pay his brother’s medical bills. His time is so limited yet he finds a way to help others.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit through NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Nate and Laura are a great couple. They have a lot of baggage that they have to get past before they can get together but it is worth it for them. I also love the suspense that runs through the story. I really enjoyed reading this western historical romance. There are many wonderful descriptions of the area also. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

I love the way the author not only takes readers on a vivid journey through caves and mountains but transports readers back in time. I could feel Laura’s feet slip as she hugged the mountainside. She has had a hard time forgiving herself for shooting Aaron. Now she carries the guilt of him never being able to walk again. I liked the back story about her brother and the tragic end he chose. In this time period there wasn’t much a doctor could do to insure that Aaron would ever be able to walk again.

Nate is a caring and faithful man who tries so hard to help his brother Aaron. It isn’t easy to see his brother in so much pain and losing his faith. I think it was a little hard for him also because Laura has become special to him. They must both fight to help Aaron overcome his lack of wanting to go on.

I really enjoyed the adventure the author takes us on as we enter caves thought to be uninhabited. It was a shock to find people there, but there is also a mystery about the caves. Why is someone hiding supplies in the cave? This propels Laura and Nate to work closely with each to solve the mystery hiding in the cave. There is danger that comes their way, but in the midst of everything there is God.

I absolutely loved the scene between Aaron and Laura. It is no surprise that Aaron is bitter towards God and Laura. He is struggling to want to keep going but is discouraged. Laura and Nate don’t give up and continue to push Aaron to fight for strength. A beautiful moment in the story that made me cry is when Aaron humbled himself and lets down the barrier that has held him back from believing in God. This is the best of the story and I have to say Aaron was my favorite character. To witness the anger, bitterness and hopelessness fall away is what makes this story so inspiring.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
