This book is amazing and a much-needed resource for trans people. I'm so grateful this resource exists and ordered this for the library for our trans community.

So necessary! I'm so grateful this resource exists as a nonbinary person of color. I'm excited to buy copies for my partner and friends once it's released.

The conversational tone and accessible tips make this an invaluable resource and an easy recommendation. Trans people, allies and providers could all learn from this book.

As someone who has an Anxiety disorder and is also non-binary, this book feels heaven sent. Life can feel alienating sometimes so it is really important to have a trans author write about her experience instead of a cis "expert" who looks down on you.
The book is genuinely very helpful and I'm trying to incorporate some of the tips into my routine and I've already told my friends about it during a particularly bad dysphoria day.
It feels good to know that you're not alone, that there are others like you with the same highs and lows, people who maybe have figured out a couple of things already and are willing to share their experiences.

I requested this book because I wanted to gain more knowledge on what anxiety looks like for trans folks specifically. (It is important to note that I am cis-gender, femme, and white.)

The author Freiya Benson shares how anxiety can have many layers depending on the intersections of our identities. She discusses universal anxiety AND trans-specific anxiety. The author uses a normalizing and non-judgmental tone; the book is very conversational and easy to read.

Freiya Benson shares many of her own experiences as well as those of other trans and non binary folks. She provides tips and coping mechanisms that have helped her but also makes clear that she does not believe there is only one way to handle anxiety and that it is a different journey for everyone.

The parts that were most educational for me were surrounding her techniques managing gender dysphoria and insights into gender-affirming healthcare. The author gives readers many tools for navigating these systems in a world that is built (unfortunately) around cis-het ideas. believe this information is valuable for readers- and was definitely valuable to me.
