I thought this book was a cute representation of a group that often doesn't get representation. It saddens me that there aren't many books with Down's characters, especially as the main character. In this regard, the book was fantastic. It gave me a glimpse into a life that is both different and the same as mine. I feel that the author portrayed the characters well and I really got to know them. However, I didn't enjoy the writing style of this book all the time. I felt like it could have been more detailed at parts, but this is just an opinion! Overall, I enjoyed it.

I loved this so much! Very sweet and exciting storyline. I loved the varied formats also, it was really cool and the postcard drawings were a nice touch. Rosie was a great character and so easily liked.

Interesting premise and wonderful that it highlighted a protagonist with downs syndrome. However I do not feel that the story was well executed.

For this book, I would give trigger warnings for sexual abuse / exploitation, suicide, disrespectful language in regard to disabilities, ableism, drug/alcohol abuse, robbery
As you can see from the trigger warnings, this book took a dark turn. What I at first thought would be a cute story about two teenagers in love, quickly changed into a scary story. Rose is such a lovely character and all the bad things that happened to her truly hurt my heart. She would do anything for her Jack and likewise, and it was so cute how she constantly pulled strength from the memories of her and Jack.
I can barely say anything about the story without giving spoilers, so all I will say is: please be careful going into this story. There are a lot of triggers for various things, and there are moments that are very uncomfortable and disturbing to read.
I can't go into the representation here, because I know nobody with Down syndrome, so I will leave that opinion to people who know more about the subject.
Overall, I would give this 4,5/5 stars. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I thought the ending was a bit rushed, I would have loved to see more of that, especially after the heaviness of the story.
