Three different Amish novellas centered around barn raisings and featuring characters we have met in previous series. I think my favorite was the story by Amy Clipson, but I enjoyed them all. I like these books because sometimes we get to see the story of someone who is more of an afterthought in the series. It is a great way to step back into the story and see where the characters are at in their journey.

Three sweet, active Amish books centering around characters we have met in previous books by the authors, yet each can be a stand-alone book. I love reading all of these authors’ books and enjoyed catching up with characters from previous books I have read.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading Amish books full of suspense, twists, turns, faith, new relationships and possible love.

Thanks to Zondervan and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this enjoyable book.

All three of these were sweet stories that somehow involved a barn raising. Two of them had the barn raising as almost an afterthought, and one of them had it as a central portion of the narrative. I can't decide which was my favorite -- usually I have a favorite in these collections, but I loved them all this time, for different reasons! Being a fan of Amish fiction, it was nice to catch up with some past characters that appear as secondary characters (eg, Bethany from the Coffee Corner) in these stories. If you love Amish fiction and / or are a fan of short stories, this is a great little set of reads!
