Adorable story set around Christmas. It's the perfect audiobook to snuggle up with hot chocolate. It was so nice to be transported away to a normal, uplifting place amid lockdown. People of all ages coming together to make Christmas the best ever. Loved the intergenerational friendships. I fell in love with all the characters. They were so relatable. Some tender moments as they discover the history of lock keepers cottage. I loved it.

So.... This is slightly embarrassing but turns out I had already received this ebook a few months a go and until I went into to goodreads to add it I had totally forgotten. The reason I had forgotten is because I marked it as DNF at 27%

So this time I powered through it and finished it. The story is very mellow and not a whole lot happens. It is not a book I think I will remember again in a few more months time. But I appreciate you sending it to me.

I have just finished the audio book of Christmas at Lockkeepers Cottage and Lucy Coleman has written a heart warming festive read about life in Ayesbury in the Cotswolds.
We meet Immi who is dealing with a long distance relationship with Gray and who also makes a meaningful friendship with Mrs Price which I found I enjoyed listening to.
I also enjoyed the Santa Ahoy Christmas Cruises where Tollie plays an excellent Santa Claus for the children - all very Christmassy indeed!
This is a charming book that drifts along at a gentle pace narrated by Lucy Scott and David Thorpe who do a marvellous job at inviting you into Lucy’s world.
