My son who is 9 loved this book. He is a huge Fortnite fan. He loved it so much I have to buy it for him. He was enthralled with all the information and loved the pictures. Was great to get him off the game to read for a while even if it was about fortnite.

This book sparked my interest as my son is an avid Fortnite fan, as are many children.

For me it helped me understand a little bit more about the game, and for my son the tips and history facts were interesting, and he has gone on to look up some of the players mentioned on Youtube.

There are lots of images from the game throughout the book which are bright and colourful, they do have some interesting characters!

It's a good little book, not a massive amount of content but I think fans of the game would find it interesting, and definitely an idea for present for a late primary school age child I think.

Thank you to Netgalley and Norwood House Press for a digital copy in return for an honest review.

Ah, Fortnite.

This is one of my favourite games. Honestly, I adore this game to know end! I participate in all the live events, got some cool skins and just have a great time disappearing into the game and trying to get my Victory Royale.

This non-fiction book is all about Fortnite - it's beginning, it's history and it's status as a pop culture, gaming gem.

I would argue this book is designed for kids more than any adult. I found it to be childish and not exactly what an adult would jump into. That's fine though, because it is aimed at kids. I just have this sneaking suspicion adults wouldn't like it as much.

I will say there is a lot of history and cool facts littered throughout this book. Non-fiction loving footnote fans will find so much cool stuff in it. I'm honestly amazed at some of the history that I wasn't aware about. Fort in Fortnite meant more than just the forts you build?! It has a literal meaning?!

Overall, this is a handy book all about the history and gaming mechanics on Fortnite. Little wisdom seekers who love gaming might enjoy this book.

Three out of five stars.

I read this book as I had no real idea what Fortnite was!

The book gave me an understanding of what the game is about and it was good that the book actually had some of the images from the actual game too.

My curiosity has been satisfied but it has confirmed that this is not a game for me.
It is three stars from me for this one.

It was interesting to learn about the back story of the creator of Fortnite and get a brief overview of the game; however, I feel as if this book would be more sought after by parents rather than the players of Fortnite. Even then, I would not recommend this book to learn more about the game when there are more informational alternatives.

This quick read gives you an insight into the phenomenon that has captured so much attention.
It gives you a break down of where the game has come from, the man behind it, the reason why it's so successful and even debunks some of the myths surrounding the game.

It's a great read for parents who want to get to know the game a little better and a great read for children who wish to know the history of the game.
