A beautiful story about finding yourself and your happily ever after. These characters were easy to connect with and I loved their personalities. The writing was well planned and I really enjoyed the flow of the story. I really enjoyed the progression of the characters relationship. I look forward to reading more of this series.

This may well be book one of a new series, but it is a part of a huge family of wonderfully interconnecting books. Just last month I read MY TRUE LOVE, which is also set on Silver Island, and so it was a real treat to catch up with some of that gang of friends again so soon – let alone some Dark Knights come to help out too. I love all of these books, and this is an excellent addition to the collection.

Abby and her sister, Deirdra, are back on the island due to their mother's death. She had been the source of much pain for the women after their father's death, but little did they expect to now find out they had a half-sister, Cait. Now the three of them have to steer through the business of sorting out the failing family bistro and their feelings for each other. In this book we get Abby's story, but no doubt the other sisters will get their chance, and there are hints already as to who!

Aiden has seen the run-down bistro and put in a good offer – something he keeps close to his chest when he meets Abby there one morning. The sparks between them are unexpected and even ill-timed, but strong enough that they choose to pursue them. And thus we are drawn into Abby's plans to revive the family business, using her cheffing skills and supported by Aiden and Cait.

I loved all the people who came and helped, and how it was clear that their mother has been well supported in their absence. It helped build a strong foundation for Abby when everything else seemed to be in flux. The descriptions of the newly renovated bistro sounded fabulous, and definitely worth a visit.

We knew from the beginning just how complicated the relationship between these two was going to be, and I did find myself rolling my eyes at their decisions at times! Even if a move comes from a good place, it can still be a mistake... but they did learn, and take a few minutes to take stock of the situation before going entirely off the deep end.

If you love this family of books, then this will be a good addition to your collection – it is not too bad on the needing a tissue front, but do expect to stay up late reading, as it is difficult to stop the pages turning.

I loved everything about this story but there seemed to be something missing, at least for me. I can't put my finger on it but there was something. Maybe it was the fact that Aiden waited so long to tell Abby who he really was and what his business dealing was. It seemed to me that he was hiding from her something important and he knew it could ruin what they were starting together.

Abby has come home to Silver Island to sell or keep their family bistro. After their father passed away, their mother kept the bistro going while Abby and her sister went on with their own lives. What she finds is a half-sister and a gorgeous man she didn't see coming.

As Abby and Aiden work side by side at the bistro, the relationship between them begins to sizzle and bloom. He wants to help her to get the bistro up and running and make it a success. All the while he is learning that you can slow down and live your life without working all the time.

Can Abby forgive him when she learns the truth? Will Aiden be able to explain why he did what he did to help her? Is there a future for them in Silver Harbor?

I love author Melissa Foster and knew I wanted to read this one even without reading the blurb. Her stories are always great and leave you feeling loved. This is a great story with a perfect couple that might not get what they deserve if they don't work for it. If you haven't read this author before, what are you waiting for, she is awesome.

M/F Romance

Abby and her sisters are back on the island and trying to figure out what to do with their mom's estate. Abby has big dreams for her dad's old diner, but she has to convince herself and her sisters that she can pull it off.

Aiden is a workaholic. His sister has sent him on a needed vacation, but Aiden is finding it hard to turn his work brain off. He misses the hustle, he misses the meetings. Aiden knows that he needs a break, but it really isn't in him to do that.

During a chance encounter, Aiden and Abby find themselves a balm to each other’s souls.

While I normally really enjoy Foster's books, this one just kind of dragged on for me. It was incredibly long and not a lot happens. I wanted more spark, more intrigue, or something. I am hoping that Cait's story will have more to it. She intrigued me the most.

This was my first Melissa Foster read and I DID enjoy it and will absolutely read more from her because some of these characters intrigued me. The chemistry between Aiden and Abby was perhaps insta-lusty or love but eventually they grew into all the feels. Some of the conversations early on between the two seemed a bit off to me only because Aiden has no idea how to live a full life of his own (besides work) but was so very full of insight on Abby's past and pain. I chalked it up to sometimes an outsider has a better view of the whole. But in the end, I absolutely loved Aiden for trying, against his own nature, to give Abby the space to live her life and make her own decisions. Did I love Abby? Sometimes yes, other times no. She was quick to jump to conclusions and quick to forgive everyone else but couldn't see past her own nose to forgive Aiden. She rubbed me the wrong way but again, in the end, she redeemed herself and the two of them were a lovely, believable couple.

Aiden Aldridge real state mogul, a protective brother and a man who needed to learn that there was life outside of work. I often wondered what I could expect from Aiden’s character from the previous books by Author Melissa Foster. Aiden has a brilliant mind and a huge heart, can that help him catch the woman of his dream?

Abigail de Messieres gave up everything to come home to Silver Island, to relive, to start over. What Abby hadn’t planned on is meeting Aiden Aldridge. There is nothing that I don’t like about this heroine, from her huge heart to her need to handle and own her future, but sometimes it’s okay to have help.

Boy Oh Boy from their first beach moment, Aiden and Abigail’s chemistry heats up. Aiden is sent to the beach by his sister Remi with a Let Loose list of things he must prove with pictures. All work makes Aiden a dull guy. Abby comes home to help settle her parents estate with Deirdra her sister, but finds a few secrets of her own. I enjoyed the playfulness, witty banter and the way they understood each other so easily.

My Favorite quote from Aiden to Abby is “Abigail de Messieres, you might be my undoing.” I just sunk right into the story, not surfacing until the end.

The song replaying in my head, “What a Man, What a Man, What a Mighty Good Man.” Is my theme song for Aiden. LOL!

I always love revisiting the supporting characters, I had to laugh as I see Jules hasn’t mellowed one bit. *Grins* I know I always say who I would like to see next in a book, but with Melissa Foster’s characters whoever is next I know I am sure to enjoy. Melissa Foster thank you for all the moments between the girls, I love their friendship through the years.

Maybe We Will is a story of love, family, hope, wonder and discoveries that will change their lives in such wonderful ways. In true Melissa Foster fashion have those tissues ready, there are many feel good moments throughout Maybe We Will as well as some incredible steamy ones along the way. I am so addicted to the Silver Harbor Series and it’s the first book. LOL! A charming town with amazing town folk, Melissa Foster knows how to make you feel like you are right in the thick of the story. I for one never want to leave.

A new series to adore from Melissa Foster! With the kickoff to her brand new Silver Harbor series we jump head first into Abby and Aiden's romance in MAYBE WE WILL and I loved every minute of it! The meet cute is divine, the adorableness and heat mix together to perfection and their back stories bring so much to the story. I can't wait for more!

Abby is at a turning point in her life when she returns home to Silver Island to mourn the loss of her mother and decide what to do with the home and business left behind. Little does she expect to be handed a second sister she knew nothing about.

Aiden will be a familiar face to anyone who loved Remi's story when she fell for Mason in THIS IS LOVE. He took over raising his little sister when their parents were killed in an accident years ago and now that she's settled into her happily ever after, she knows he's feeling at loose ends so she forces a vacation on him ... a month on Silver Island with a list of things he has to do to relax.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves an emotional story with an intense love building as friends and family fill an important part of the storyline. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series already.

<b>"'I fell in love with you like night takes over day–soaking up every little thing you did and said, until you were all I saw, all I wanted.'"</b>
This book got a hold of my heart from page one. Romance at its finest, and swooniest!
I wish Silver Island were real, so I could visit, and even live there. It seems like my kind of place.

<b>"'I wasn't looking to meet anyone here, Abs.'"
"'Neither was I.'"
"Then maybe we're meant to be(...)'"</b>
I absolutely love both main characters, Aiden and Abby. I love how Aiden is a giver by nature, and he would still be one even if he didn't have all the money he does, it's just who he is. I love how he genuinely likes taking care of people, and putting other people first.
Abby is such a wonderful character, who wears her heart on her sleeve and who hasn't had an easy time in life. But yes, she's still fighting for her dreams, and she wants to be her own, independent person.

<b>"'With you I have discovered so many parts of myself that I never knew existed, and (...) I think they only exist with you.'"</b>
Aiden is a wealthy guy who is into finance and investments, and a real-life workaholic. Abby is more of a free-thinker, a chef, who has just quit her job because she realized it didn't make her happy.

Abby goes back to Silver Island after her mom passed away. Aiden is in Silver Island on a holiday because his sister insisted he should take some time for himself and stop living for work.

In reality, their lives don't overlap. But they have a chance meeting one day outside Abby's father's old restaurant. From then on, everything just makes sense, as if all this was meant to be from the start.

The flashbacks to Abby's childhood and her family were endearing, and both her sisters add depth and emotion to an already love-filled book.
Her group of friends is just amazing, which is something I love in Melissa's stories: they always make you feel like you're part of them. Plus, the small-town vibe just adds to what really is a great romantic story.

<b>"'You are everything I never knew I needed.'"</b>
This is the story of two people who likely would never have met without the universe nudging them in the right direction. They have different expectations, different lives and realities.
However, Aiden and Abby were both missing something in their lives, something they didn't know they needed – until they found each other.

As Aiden was ticking off items on his list of stuff to do on holidays, given to him by his sister, he was ticking off boxes in Abby's heart too. And in mine.
This book will melt your heart, give you all the feels, and make you believe there really is someone for everyone out there.

Thank you to Lisa and Melissa for letting me take part in this tour and for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I absolutely loved the first 2 books in the Steele's series which is also set on Silver Island so I was very excited to return.

This is the first book in the Silver Harbor series. Abby has just returned to the island and Aiden is on holiday. Aiden has been in the background of a few of Melissa's previous books and I've been rooting for him to get his story..

Aiden is a true gentleman. Bringing up his little sister has shown him how to be a great partner. He has learnt how to listen and remember. He takes in everything Abby says, even when she is speaking a mile a minute, and remembers everything she says. He shows he not only listens but that he cares, in the things he does for her.

Abby is fiercely independent. She has been relying on herself since she was 9 years old and she's not about to start relying on anyone now. She is determined to make her dreams come true. I really liked Abby. She is so strong and hard-working.

I loved Abby's sisters, Cait and Dee. I also loved their group of friends. Cait really started to come out of her shell towards the end and Dee is going to be such fun when she finally takes a break from work. The bonfire and the dinner they all have together are such great scenes. They really show what a community Silver Island is.

Melissa captured my attention from the beginning and I got swept up in the romance of this story. The island is such a romantic location. I could spend so much time discovering new places and getting swept up by island fever. I can't wait for more books set on this beautiful island. There are so many people that have a story to tell here and I want to hear them all.

Oh how I just adore Melissa Foster's writing. She is a master of her craft and skillfully executes every book with finesse. Abby and Aiden are such a pair that I truly adored. Aiden is on a vacation to let loose and Silver Island is the perfect place to do so. I loved watching these two tackle his list and him helping her with the restaurant. Such a fun, sweet read with plenty of spice to keep readers thoroughly engaged. Just wow. I, again, am blown away by these stories. Abby and Aiden are a pair you don't want to miss!

Take a little time to smell and see the roses. You never know when you won't be able to any more. Thankfully, Aiden had Remi who made him take a much needed vacation. Abby too needed to stop and figure out what she wanted in her life. For Abby, home was definitely where her heart is. Once Aiden and Abby meet, they barely were apart. I don't think he stated at the resort more than a couple of nights. The two make dreams come true for the island. I love how the island came together for Abby and Dee and Cait for that matter. A fabulous love story that gave this reader a little island fever, and I live on one!

Melissa Foster writes the best feel good romances, full of family and friends! And this is no exception!

Let me tell you, the main characters, Aiden and Abby have lost both of their parents and this books is still filled with amazing memories and even Mother's day celebrations! A lot about this book is about how the hero and the heroine deal and dealt with their lives after their great loss and the traits their parents left them with.

Abby comes back to the island to take care of her mother's house and restaurant and as she decides to bring it back to life she meets a very rich, finance guy, Aiden, who she gets very close to. Through in her sister, her newly discovered other sister, whom they all bring in their family so lovingly, a lot of memories about her alcoholic mother and her restaurateur - painter father plus a great bunch of supportive family and friends and you have a wonderful, emotional story. Not lacking in the hotness department though!

There is so much beauty in this book, it fills your heart with a warm feeling. There is not much drama, just a bit of misunderstanding, and the characters are so true to each other and their feelings even when they are mad they know they love each other greatly. This is the perfect fix for a feel good romance spiced with hot scenes.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

It's the pacing that brings this otherwise light and steamy book down. While the relationship is 100% instalove, the book is REALLY long, and there are plenty of parts that drag. These two get serious quickly, so much of the story feels like unnecessary filler. I loved the connection between them and the low angst feel, but that was secondary to my boredom. It's also not quite the standalone that you'd expect, considering this is a series starter. There are appearances by characters from AT LEAST three other series, and that certainly doesn't help matters. So, while I actually enjoyed the romance quite a bit and liked both characters, the rest of the story lost me.

The story follows Aiden, a workaholic in need of a break. He's spent years caring for his sister while building up his business, so working comes naturally. When his sister forces him to take a vacation and relax, Aiden isn't entirely sure how to do that - even though his sister has left him a very detailed "Let Loose List." But it's not long before Aiden meets a sexy stranger, and Abby might just be the beautiful distraction that he needed. She's got her own issues and is dealing with some changing family dynamics, but Abby finds herself falling head over heels. What started as an easy, temporary vacation fling soon feels like a whole lot more.

If I'm loving a book, it won't matter that it's long - but it's the kiss of death if the story is just okay. And that's where I'm at with this one. That gorgeous cover pulled me in, and I was excited to check out this series starter. My main issue with MF's work has always been that the stories are too interconnected; there's no natural jumping in point, and that was also the case here. Despite the fact that this is the first in a brand new series, there are countless appearances by characters from MANY of her other series. That only added to a length that's already unwieldy - this is longer than the last two books I read COMBINED. And it's not like this is a slow burn; these two essentially fall at first sight, and the rest is just them being together. There's nothing that I particularly disliked, but the length killed this for me. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this vacation romance.

I've loved every book I've read by Ms. Foster, but this one just grabbed me in a different way.

I loved the way that Aiden and Abby met; how they just immediately felt comfortable with each other and told the other things that they didn't (and most people don't) tell others so soon. Their instant connection was awe inspiring.

I also love how the author always intertwines characters from so many of her other books into each new book she writes. It's fun to catch up with the ones you've already met and meet new ones that you want to see more of.

I could love living on Silver Island!

Businessman and workaholic Aiden is on forced vacation in Silver Harbor, working through a list of relaxing and fun activities created by his sister to help him unwind. But while there he can't quite turn off his investment mind. After placing an offer on a rundown restaurant on the beach, he's hanging out on the patio only to unexpectedly meet the building owner.
After quitting her chef job in the city when she realizes it's not making her happy, she returns to her hometown of Silver Harbor after her mother dies unexpectedly. While settling up the estate, Abby dreams of bringing her father's restaurant back to life. After he died when she was young, their mother tried to keep it going, but it's become rundown and needs a lot of work. After meeting Aiden, she agrees to help him with his list if he'll help her bring the restaurant back to life. As they spend time together, they give in to the attraction they felt from the first day. But when Aiden tells her who he really is, can their love survive?
I love the idea of Aiden's list and Abby was just the fun-loving spirit to help him with it. They're just so cute together! I love the small-town vacationy feel of the story and can't wait to go back there in the next book of the series!
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The views and opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

I'm in love with Aiden! I loved that he got his happily ever after with Abby. Abby is such a likeable character, they were perfect for each other. I felt so emotionally tied to Aiden and Abby in the story. This is a great kick off to a new series. As soon as I finished the book, I wanted to go back. There are so many characters that I want to know more about. This is my favorite thing about Melissa Foster books...the ties that are written into the stories are fabulous. I love all the connections and the strong and positive relationships between family and friends. I get immersed in the settings and people that they feel like they are real. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series! I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is just one of those stories that makes you feel good and transports you into a different world. If you’ve read This is Love, which introduces Aiden and Tempted by Love where Addy is mentioned then these two characters are not new to you and if you haven’t read it then it is great starting point. I loved that these two characters are finally getting their story.
Addy returns to Silver Island after her mother passes. Aiden is on Silver Island after being forced to take a vacation. The moment they meet there is some chemistry between them. That chemistry continues to grow through the story. I loved the two of them together. I loved that nothing felt forced when it came to their relationship. I loved how they came together and if it weren’t for events that both lead them back to Silver Island they may have both continued to live their lives never knowing each other.
If Silver Island was a real place I would be packing my bags and instantly finding a way to move there. The way the Island is described throughout the story is magical and truly beautiful. It is just a place you want to visit and never leave.
If you’re looking for a small town romance this is one to check out.

3 1/2 Stars for this romance.

Abby along with her sister Diedre, return to Silver Harbor after their acholic mother dies to find their parents restaurant in disrepair and that they have a half-sister (Cait) they never knew about. They have an offer from an investment company to purchase the restaurant, but Abby followed in her father's footsteps and became a chef and she would like to revive the restaurant/bistro. Aiden is a workaholic and his sister insists he take a much-needed vacation and even picks the place for him ... Silver Harbor. When Aiden sees the cute little Bistro on the beach, he can't help himself and puts in an offer to purchase. But when Aiden meets Abby, the sparks fly and maybe this holiday won't be so bad after all.

Although the premise of this book is good and I liked the characters ... I just didn't fall in love with them. I found that the banter was awkward at times and some of the situations just didn't seem realistic. But there were sweet and steamy moments between Abby and Aiden. Normally I like it when characters from other books come into a book ... but in this book, there were a lot of them and they were obviously from other series. Actually, too many to keep track of considering this is the first book in the series.

I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Loved, loved, LOVED Abby and Aiden's story. I loved everything from the treasured chandeliers being brought back to life with Abby's own spin on them as she imagined and begged her father to do for so many years to the relaunch of her family's beloved bistro. Aiden sat on his hands with helping Abby achieve her dreams as much as he could, and the little thing that he did do for her (ok it was a big thing but she needed it) set their hearts apart with a tad bit of conflict to bring them back stronger than ever. I can't wait to see what is in store for Cait and Deidra in the rest of this series.

Abby lives in New York and she's a chef. She's unsatisfied in her job. She'd love to have her own place and not work for someone else. When her mother dies, she goes to Silver Island to take care of selling her mom's bistro. Since she's so unhappy with her job, she seizes the opportunity and quits. Home she goes! Deidra, her sister, wants to sell The Bistro and since they have an investor her sister won't let up on selling. Abby has so many great childhood memories of The Bistro and is having a hard time giving it up. Abby and Deidra find out that they have an older half sister, that for whatever reason their mom never mentioned.

Abby goes to The Bistro and is enjoying her trip down memory lane when she spots a man sitting at a table reading a newspaper...at her bistro. He's gorgeous with his khaki pants, loafers and a jaw dropping body. She approaches him and lets him know he's on private property. And that's where the sparks in this story begins! Those two have immediate chemistry and I loved the bantering between them! She labels him "chair guy", even though his name is Aiden.

Aiden was sent here on vacation by his sister, because he works all the time. She sent him with a list of things he needed to do and he must send photos as proof that he's crossing items off the list.

I loved this story so much! I though Aiden and Abby had wonderful chemistry and the story had me captivated from the time Abby met him! There's twists and turns and of course, Aiden being a man, screw ups on his part!! Great story!!

What can you say about Abby and Aiden’s story? It was EVERYTHING. The romance, the family history, the camaraderie, the heat. They all added up to an amazing story! I cannot wait to learn more about the wonderful secondary characters.
