Jamie's story is so inspiring! I am actually surprised that I was unaware of the author before this book launch. Jamie dives in to her personal story to share with others offering lots of inspiration and life lessons. It is not just a book about her professional life, but of her personal life as well.

First off let start by saying that this book has motivated me inspired me and has i encouraged me to become a better version of myself to stop thinking things are not possible... and to truly believe it and believe that you are unstoppable. if you are stuck thinking i dont have time my business wont succeed they keep telling me know take it from me this book will make you wake up tomorrow a warrior and planning the next steps on something you may have been stalling

This book is fantastic! I was given an advance digital copy and have been chomping at the bit for the release day so I could leave a review. :-) I pre-ordered the printed copy, which arrives today. I'm looking forward to reading BelieveIT again with a highlighter. Yep, I enjoyed this book that much.

I love books that share someone's story and Jamie Kern Lima does this with such authenticity and care. I cried, I laughed, I cheered and most of all, I feel inspired and more motivated to seriously go after a new idea I've been "planning" for a couple of years now.

Even if you're not in the planning stage of something new, just reading Jamie's story and seeing what real perseverance looks like in action will be a gift, no matter your age, no matter your stage in life. So good!!!

Jamie is an inspiration and her personal story and advice will help you gain confidence in yourself. What I enjoyed most is the feeling that you are talking a good friend! Her personality and faith in the reader just bounces off the page! Highly recommend!

From beginning to end, I could relate to Jamie's story. Not because we share the exact same or even similar experiences; but rather because I could feel her emotions through her storytelling. She's real and tells it like it is - the good, bad, and ugly. As she tells her story of struggle, rejection, emotional pain, doubt, MORE rejection - she balances it with the knowing that she was meant for greater things - as we all are. She demonstrates the strength of women through her perseverance, the importance of family and friends, and the power of holding space for all women so they can find the path to fulfill their own dreams.

Believe IT: How to Go from Underestimated to Unstoppable by Jamie Kern Lima was one of the most inspirational and honest books I have read in a very long time. I was fortunate to be part of the book launch team and read this book in advance. It was a page turner. I finished it in less than a day. I couldn't put it down.

Jamie's story is a story of love, faith, perseverance, and believing in yourself when no one else does. Jamie believed in herself, her product and her company. She went from almost losing everything to getting her shot on QVC that changed the course of her life and so many other women's lives. She knew if she could get on QVC to showcase her makeup that it would sell. And it sold. Jamie believed in showing real women with real skin problems on TV. This was faced with lots of opposition in the beauty industry but Jamie insisted and she was right. The women watching her on QVC wanted to see people like them and how a makeup product can help them feel beautiful. By doing this, Jamie managed to change the beauty industry showing real women. One of the most inspiring things Jamie did was take her makeup off on national TV to show her rosacea. She demonstrated that she was just like other women who have skin issues and her product worked. That took guts.

I first discovered who Jamie was at a virtual conference in 2020. After hearing her talk, I had to buy her book. She was so inspiring going from almost bankrupt to selling her company for over a billion dollars to L'Oreal. She was humble and sincere about being the first female CEO in L'Oreal's history.

Jamie tells her story like you would tell your story to a friend. If you need a book to inspire you to become who you know you are meant to be, I highly recommend picking this book up. It's one of those books that I plan on reading over and over again.

Please do yourself a favor and buy this book. You will not regret it.

I had no idea who Jamie Kern Lima was until last October when I heard her speak at the KBB World Summit. After she mentioned she had this book coming out, I knew I needed to read it, as well as be part of the Launch Team somehow - which happened, so I have had a wonderful advanced reader copy (ARC) to enjoy. #BelieveIT #NetGallery I also pre-ordered a copy so that I can gift it to an amazing young woman who will someday have her own BelieveIt moment.

She brings her authentic self to the forefront in this book filled with all of her lessons and steps forward and backward as well as her faith and trust that her vision was meant to be. I laughed (squirrel is all I am saying) and cried where her story so deeply resonated with mine. She is a woman who brings scrappy and authentic to the forefront of how to get things done AND keep your compassion versus hardening your heart as so many women tend to do.

She shares her life, and those of her loved ones, with allowing every word to lead to the concept of a way to keep going when you can't.

Inspiring! She went from a Waitress to a Billionaire! It tells her story of how she had a dream and even with everyone telling her “No”she didn’t give up. She created the top cosmetic brand in America. I have been buying her IT cosmetics on QVC for years and have always admired Jamie. I enjoyed reading about the behind the scenes of QVC and how she achieved her dream. Very easy read. It read like a friend sitting down talking to you about their life. I would definitely recommend it.

This is one book that has perfect timing. It hits home on so many levels while giving people a rare look behind the making of a billion-dollar brand. Jamie Kern Lima is not only a shining example of perseverance and tenacity but she has written something so raw and with such vulnerability that one cannot help but be moved by her journey. There are so many golden nuggets contained within the pages that will help anyone who is struggling and looking for inspiration. You will laugh, you will cry and finally you will come away with that feeling of I can do this. It does not matter where you are in your life or how old you are, if you are looking for change you can make it happen. I was fortunate to receive an early copy of this book provided by Netgalley and went on to purchase it in digital, hardcover and audio because this is one book that keeps on giving. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

For anyone that has ever doubted themselves or felt that they were not equipped for bigger and better things needs to read Believe It by Jamie Kern Lima. She shares her story in such a raw and vulnerable way about the setbacks and wins that she experienced while reaching her dreams, including being told she would never be able to make her dreams come true. She definitely encourages the reader to never give up on their dreams and to follow their gut. With intention and determination everyone has the ability to improve themselves and Jamie helps us to feel that we are not alone in our common struggles. You must get this book if you need some motivation in moving closer to your dreams!

I have admired Jamie Kern Lima since I first saw her on QVC many years ago. She was so brave to remove her makeup and show her rosacea to show how well her makeup (that she created) covered it. Believe It is not just the story of how she changed the beauty industry, but her struggles and triumphs along the way. Jamie shares all in this book. You can’t help but feel like you are reading your friend’s story. Jamie also shares stories of her circle of friends.
This book is for every female. There are so many life lessons inside. One lesson that spoke to me most is, “Believe where you come from DOESN’T determine where you’re going.” This book is powerful!
I first ordered the Kindle version of the book. I have now ordered two hard copies. One for me so I can more easily find my highlighter marks and one to gift.

I feel so blessed to have been able to read the advanced copy of this book and it has truly changed the way I think about myself, it has given me so much hope and confidence. I can't think of anything we need more right now in this world than hope and confidence. It is not just your typical self help book, but it is not just a memoir either. It reads like a story but is FULL of so many useful tools to put in your tool box (you will read about that). Jamie is so real, so honest, so vulnerable and this makes her so relatable to us women. Wow! I just finished Jamie's book and the first thing I can say is that; if she had the goal of being inspiration for whoever read it... she did it!!

Jamie really captures her story and literal herstory in such a beautiful way. The chapters melt one into the next.! Chapter 15 helped me resolve an internal narrative of my own and I am so grateful.
