A good beginners cookbook and guide for two popular kitchen appliances. A handful of easy to follow recipes.

With so many air fryer/instant pot books out on the market this book was decent. The recipes are straight forward and easy to follow. Would I say I need another air fryer/instant pot recipes cookbook? Probably not.

Great informative book, an ideal book for anyone who wants to get more out of their kitchen appliances. I don't have an air fryer but I do have an often neglected Instant Pot, so I was looking for some more inspiration to use it. Then this handy book came along!!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for letting me access an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest feedback.

I really enjoyed trying recipes from this cookbook. I appreciated that it had recipes for BOTH the air fryer and the instant pot. (I just got both for Xmas so this was a great cookbook to get!)

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for a honest. I have an instant pot hairdryer which I had recently purchased. This book gave me lots of ideas on how to use the sirfryer. Although it is for an instant pot hairdryer, it could be used for other similar fryer.

The two best loved appliances in the kitchen star in this well organized cookbook that offers start up information on both devices as well as 100 cleverly designed recipes to go beyond the basics. Author Sara Quessenberry was formerly the food stylist and and recipe developer for Real Simple Magazine, and it shows in her imaginative yet practical recipes. Why stick to French Fries to accompany a protein cooked in the Instant Pot when you could also make Lemon and Almond Souffles in the air fryer for dessert? That slow cook favorite Pulled Pork Sandwiches is here, and a succulent Beef Ragu, Also Shakshuka, the Israeli breakfast egg dish, and Braised Lamb Souvlaki, which are an invitation to becoming a more adventurous cook, all mostly hands off because of this time and labor savers. Recipes are well composed and unfussy, without unusual ingredients. The tone is friendly, encouraging and down-to-earth; the design is attractive, user-friendly and the photographs have the eye appeal that is so important in a successful cookbook: you get inspiration as well as an idea of what the finished dish should look like. This book would be a perfect shower gift or for anyone starting out in a first apartment. I received an advance prepublication copy through NetGalley.

I want to thank the author and Netgalley for gifting me the ebook. I was gifted an air frier last year for my anniversary and I love it. I have been looking for recipes online but there are just not that many good ones. I can't wait to make some of these wonderful recipes. The recipes look easy and uncomplicated.

Loved this cookbook! I've had an air fryer for a couple of years but had only used it for the usual french fries, chicken strips, etc. It was eye opening to make actual recipes like tofu with noodles. A bonus is the inclusion of Instant Pot recipes. The recipes are presented by type of food or meal (breakfast, sides, poultry, seafood, desserts, etc.) My one complaint is there were comparatively few pictures. But, take my advice and try the Baked S'mores Bananas!

Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook is a good beginners cookbook and guide for two popular kitchen appliances. The introduction provides basic information about each appliance with recommendations for accessories that extend the usefulness of each appliance. It provides step-by-step recipes for daily meals as well as appetizers and desserts. The presentation of the recipes is clear and easy to follow but it could have sometimes benefitted from more photographs of the dishes. The index is very helpful. Altogether, the book is a good way to get started and feel successful using both an air fryer and an Instant Pot.

This cookbook is aimed at home cooks that have both of the most popular appliances of the moment: the Instant Pot and the Air Fryer. Each recipe is marked with an icon that indicates whether it is for the air fryer or the instant pot, so it's really easy to flip through the book to find recipes for the specific appliance you want to use. The recipes are divided into several categories: breakfast, appetizers, sides, beef and lamb mains, poultry mains, pork mains, seafood mains, vegetable mains and desserts. This cookbook does NOT include nutritional information for the recipes. Granted, this cookbook does not profess to be healthy or to focus on nutrition; however, nutritional information is still of interest to MANY cooks, and would be a nice addition. Less than 1/3 of the recipes have photos in the book, which is disappointing as the photos included are terrific. Many of the recipes are very appetizing, but would benefit from photos. The recipes in this book vary in complexity. Some are super easy and beginner friendly, others are more complex and may be easier to try after you've gotten comfortable with using your air fryer and/or instant pot. There are some unique recipes in here; I've put a bunch on my list for the next couple of weeks to try. The directions are very clear, and some recipes include tips from the author.

Thank you to Netgalley and Chartwell Books for sending me an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I had high hopes for this cookbook but was definitely disappointed that there weren't very many photos to go along with the recipes. Some of the recipes seemed kind of bland and too basic as well.

It seems everybody nowadays owns both an Instant Pot and air fryer, so Sara Quessenberry’s cookbook, Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook: 100 Recipes to Cook with Your Air Fryer & Instant Pot Pressure Cooker is very timely. It is filled with dozens of excellent recipes for both appliances, and most of those recipes are fairly quick and easy.

While there isn’t an overabundance of recipes, the ones that are included are those that will appeal to almost everyone. There are breakfast recipes, appetizers, side dishes, main dishes – with our without meat, poultry, or seafood – and desserts. The recipes are easy-to-follow, and are written in a concise, simple manner so that anyone, from beginners to seasoned chefs, can easily prepare picture-perfect dishes. Unfortunately, there are very few photographs, so most dishes can’t be compared to a picture. The few photographs are excellent, however, and make the dishes look mouthwatering.

There is good information at the beginning of the book to help those who aren’t seasoned air fryer and Instant Pot users. The tips are helpful and inspire confidence in those cooks who are preparing dishes in appliances that they aren’t used to using.

All told, this is an excellent cookbook and if you own these appliances, it is worth adding this book to your cookbook collection; it will be used often to make a good variety of mouthwatering meals.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

3.5☆ A Versatile and Delicious Cookbook.

The recipes were really scrumptious but unfortunately for me only the Air Fryer ones were applicable as I do not own an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker so I can't really comment on those.

There was a variety of easy and delicious recipes ranging from Garlic Bread, Marinated Beef, Pepper and Onion Kebabs,  Hunter Style Chicken,  Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Pie,  Chorizo and Mushroom Empanadas, Double Chocolate Cheesecake,  Chocolate Lava Cakes all which can be cooked in the Air Fryer....amazing right!
I honestly never had any idea the Air Fryer was so versatile and I'll definitely be trying some of them out.

The instructions are fairly straightforward and ingredients are written in spoons, ounces, and cups but they have added the (gram amounts in brackets next to the cups so no need to convert)

My only gripe is that there is barely any photographs to show readers what the recipes will look like. I love cookbooks to have illustrations and it does put me off purchasing books without. But again that is just my personal preference.

Overall a versatile cookbook that will be suitable for both Air Fryer Users and Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Users. It definitely opened my eyes to how much I can actually do in my Air Fryer.

There are 100 family friendly recipes to use in your Instant Pot. Every section is broken into two categories, one for the regular Instant Pot and one for the Air Fryer Instant Pot. It gives a basic tutorial on how to use the device and includes tools and ingredients you should have on hand.

I like the Instant Pot recipes, but like with most Instant Pot cookbooks there are a lot of items that are just as easy to make without the Instant Pot. I cannot see myself making deviled eggs or french toast in an Instant Pot. The pictures are beautiful and the food looks great, I just don't know how many of the recipes I will actually use.

'Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook' is a wonderful, comprehensive cookbook with a huge variety of mouthwatering recipes. I really liked that recipes for both small appliances are included. Sections are organized by meal type (breakfast, sides, meats, etc.) and include Instant Pot and Air Fryer recipes. This would be great for those learning to cook with the small appliances, but recipes are extensive enough that people of all ability would enjoy it. Beautiful photography accompanies some of the recipes. I strongly recommend this one!

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This recipe book caters to those of us who adore "kitchen gadgets" that supposedly save us time in the kitchen.
Well, you'll have to wait 8 hours for a tase of this author's recipe for Butterscotch Pecan French Toast, because that is how long it will take to cook in your slow cooker! But this recipe sounded so delicious, and was actually quite easy to follow, so I, for one, and dusting off my crock pot and giving this one a try!
Switching to an air fryer, it will only take you a total of 30 minutes to prepare Spanish Breakfast potatoes, which sound equally mouthwatering.
There are all kinds of tantalizing recipes: hummus, vegetable potstickers, potato salad with mustard vinaigrette, balsamic beef ribs, and pulled pork sandwiches for the Instant Pot, For the Air Fryer, you have an assortment of air fried veggie chips, chicken wings, stuffed peppers, and coconut shrimp tacos.
And for dessert: I am personally going to try to make the Caramel Apple Hand Pies! I have a press in the shape of an apple which I have been trying to find a good recipie for! And right after that, I'm going to try the Chocolate Lava cake recipe for the Air Fryer.
All the recipes sounded simple to make, and you didn't have to hunt for any exotic ingredients for the most part. The pictures were colourful and had me running to my fridge more than once to satisfy a craving!
Highly recommended resource for Air Fryers and Instant pots alike!

Reminded me of a long time ago that I used to know Chicken Marbella. This book has a sign on the left top of each page which shows a picture of an instant pot or air fryer depending on the equipment to be used for the recipe.
Chicken Kiev, Farrotto sounds fun.
Falafel in airfryer is a good idea.
Have not heard of Dulce de Leche Shortbread Cookies.
Creme Brulee in an instant pot.
Lots of variety of recipes. More pictures would have made it even more relatable.

A great introduction to an Instant Pot & Air Fryer.
Great selection of recipes covering everything from breakfast to desserts.
The recipes are clear and easy to follow and the introduction on how to use an instant pot are more precise than the ones I received when I bought mine. Another good thing is the inclusion of measurements in g and not just cups.

I was given a copy of Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook by NetGalley and the publishers in return for a unbiased review.

Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook is a tutorial guide and cookbook for the air fryer and electric pressure cooker with recipes developed by Sara Quessenberry, et. al. Released 1st Dec 2020 by Quarto on their Chartwell Books imprint, it's 160 pages and available in hardcover and ebook formats. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links. I've really become enamored of ebooks with interactive formats lately.
A short introduction with tools and supplies and some safety do's and dont's leads directly to the cookbook. The recipes are arranged thematically: breakfasts, appetizers, sides, beef & lamb mains, poultry mains, pork, seafood, vegetable mains, and desserts. There are 100+ recipes, enough to keep even the most obsessed cook going for ages.

The recipes are given with English (American) measurements and metric equivalents in parentheses (yay!). The ingredients are listed in a bullet list sidebar format along with special info in the headers including tips and background and serving suggestions. There are very few (none, really) which require difficult to source ingredients. Nutritional info is not included. The specific cooking machines (air fryer and/or instant pot) are indicated with a little icon in the header of each recipe. There are numerous vegetarian options

We're definitely going to try more of these. The book is not abundantly photographed (about 25% by my rough count), but the photos which are included are well done and serving suggestions are attractive and appropriate. Well written book, tasty recipes. I've dinged half a star for the dearth of photographs. For cooks who -need- photographs for serving ideas, this might be problematic.

Four and a half stars.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Love this book and it’s recipes. I struggle to find good recipes for my instant pot most days but this book has tons of new recipes for me to try out on family.
