Thanks to NetGalley for providing this advance copy of The Shape of Thunder.
Cora and Quinn have been the best of friends until a terrible tragedy creates an unbreachable chasm in which grief and anger threatens to swallow them whole. A year later both are navigating their new reality wishing they could somehow travel back in time to create a different reality. This idea brings them back together, Cora reluctantly and Quinn hopefully, as they try to fix the unfixable. It’s a story of grief and loss and, ultimately, the power of friendship, love, and forgiveness.
I couldn’t put this one down. So many important topics and I wanted to know how and why. The desperation of Quinn and Cora to fix things embodied me and I was pulled in. Can they find the wormhole to take them back in time and prevent the disaster? Too relevant, too real, but spot on for the age!
