This is my first book in the series and I actually didn't feel like I was lost. This is laugh out loud funny and so fun. Jen is a PTA mom that doesn't want to do it but also wants to be involved with her son's class. She also has an adorable blended family and there's lot of things that happen along the way that made me love all of the characters. There's school pranks, friendships, single mom drama and of course spin bike chaos. It's a quick read that instantly puts you in a good mood.

Need a laugh out loud story? Grab this series. I have read them all. Relatable parenting and partnering throughout. I caught myself snorting and giggling throughout. Great for those readers deep in the elementary and middle school years. Pop in your earphones while doing the laundry or waiting in the carpool line and enjoy!

Well this book officially did it. I finally accepted the fate of a DNF list. I get that this book has an audience and it’s clear the targeted demographic can find enjoyment out of these books because they are popular enough from conversations that I have with other readers. For me, it was truly something I could not enjoy and couldn’t even find something to appreciate- and I say this as a mom who is definitely
engrained in the community and social dynamics this book portrays but it just felt so contrived and silly.

This third book in the Class Mom series did not disappoint! I love the humor and the real life situations as a mom and a teacher. This made me laugh out loud a few times.

More, please!
I love this series. I guess it is because I feel like I have lived this life for the last 16 years,

Kudos to the author for bringing humor into my PTO life.

This was a cute and fun book to read. I actually listened to the audiobook and it was very entertaining while I drove or cooked or whatever! I would have loved a room mom like Jen for my kids!

I love this series! Jen is hilarious and man her life is busy! Exercise classes, becoming a certified spin instructor and starting her own spinning class, her son Max's issues at school, being the "head" class mom, setting up a fundraiser for Max's school, watching her granddaughter, dealing with her aging parents, and of course, finding the right man for her best friend. I have no idea where Jen gets all the energy but she manages to get it all done and with humor. The book is a fun, breezy read that made me laugh out loud. Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC! The opinions are my own.

Everyone’s favorite class mom is back for a 3rd book, Yoga Pant Nation! And her 4th is coming out later this summer! Jen Dixon is class mom for her 5th grade son and send absolutely hilarious emails to the other parents regarding fundraising for new tablets for the 4th and 5th grade. She’s been tasked with raising $10K throughout the year and she’s determined to do so creatively.

Every time she tries, something goes wrong. She’s also a new yoga and spin instructor trying to get a job in the fitness field and it’s hard while she also babysits her granddaughter Maude. It’s fun to see Jen as both a parent and a grandparent in one book.

I’m not even a mom and I find these books absolutely hilarious. Jen always has the funniest comebacks and one liners. This books tackles some hard issues such as custody battles with her daughter’s baby daddy and her aging parents. She handles these both with grace and sass. I was definitely tearing up a little when Jen fights for her family during the custody hearing.

Thank you so much to @henryholtbooks and @lauregelman for my gifted copy.

This book is another hysterical installment to Laurie Gelman's "yoga pants" empire, my only wish is that she would continue on with this story until the heroine's son goes to college!

Yoga Pant Nation is the latest fun novel from the author that brought us laughs in Class Mom and You’ve Been Volunteered, Laurie Gelman. I am happy to tell you that this one is just as fun.

It certainly brought back a lot of memories of being class mom, PTA, field trips and fundraisers. If you are in the middle of it all, just know that I survived it and you will too!
I actually miss those very hectic days, but not enough to do it all in the future with grandkids. My four kids and all their home rooms, sports teams and things they volunteered me for were enough.

I am so happy that Gelman brought some humor to this story. The main character, Jen, is juggling a lot. She is trying to become a spin instructor, raising her fifth grade son, giving advice to her adult daughters, taking care of her aging parents, and helping out with her two year old granddaughter. She gets roped into heading the PTA’s yearly fundraiser, with a goal of raising $10,000, about five times the normal amount raised. I hated fundraisers but really appreciated Jen’s approach to this challenge.

This book had me laughing, especially Jen’s sarcastic messages to the home room “caregivers” and her committee members. She sounds like someone I would really love to have as a friend.

Cute book for a light, humorous read!

This book wasn't one of my favorites. It didnt hold my attention very well, and seemed like a lot of fluff. The characters were thoroughly developed as I recognized some in my own life.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. This is an entertaining reading experience. This book is set in Kansas. I enjoyed the writing style of this book. I would recommend reading this book to anyone and everyone. This book is in stores for $26.99 (USD).

Dollycas’s Thoughts

Jen Dixon is back and she is now Class Mom for her son’s 5th-grade class. She is also working hard to because a spin instructor while taking care of her two-year-old granddaughter. Then the president of the PTA tasks her to lead a fundraising drive to raise $10,000 to buy new tablets for the students of William Taft Elementary School and the WeFUKCT (We Fundraise Until Kingdom Come Team) is born. Part of her Class Mom duties also has her organizing the 5th grade’s overnight field trip to Topeka too. There is also a lot of drama between her daughter and her baby daddy and his mother. Hold on to your funny bone because Jen is back and better than ever.

This grandma loves this series because it brings back delightful and some harrowing memories of when my children were in elementary school. The fundraisers, the parent-teacher conferences, concerts, and all those events a parent must attend and sometimes lead or chaperone.

Laurie Gelman takes us right into the middle of Jen’s life and all her trial and tribulations. Most of the parents are now used to Jen’s emails but they still are so funny. She hits the nail on the head with the WeFUKCT committee and everything that can and does go wrong but surprisingly works out perfectly in the end.

There are some serious moments too, with Jen’s daughter trying to co-parent with her ex-boyfriend. Things take a scary turn when his mother arrives for the holidays. Jen also has to deal with her parents getting older and having some health issues. Add to that her husband’s ex AKA Crazy Cindy is back on the scene and someone may be bullying Max. Jen juggles it all with a few assists from her hubby wearing her yoga pants that we all know we live in as much as we can.

I know when I pick up a book by this author that I am going to smile and laugh. Jen deals with life, things we all have dealt with or will deal with in the future and makes us laugh and maybe even shed a tear like I did this time when she was taking care of her parents. Life is hard but Ms. Gelman reminds us how important it is to find the humor anytime we can.

Lighthearted and entertaining just like the previous two books in this series Yoga Pant Nation was a Perfect Escape. Next up! Smells Like Tween Spirit is set to be released on August 2.

I absolutely love Laurie Gelman and the previous two Class Mom books, so I definitely went into this book with high expectations. It TOTALLY delivered. What I love about this series is how relatable and lovable Jen is. She is the class mom that we all want to be. This book, like the others, is such a fun escape. Picking this book is easy. I read this book when I was dealing with some personal issues and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to pick this up and laugh at Jen's emails and her interactions with her family and friends. I am not ready to say goodbye to Jen yet!

Jen Dixon is back for her last year as class mom! I liked the first two books in series a little better but this one was pretty funny too. Jen is an older mom and she’s doing it all: caring for aging parents, helping out with her new granddaughter, teaching a spin class, organizing fundraisers and raising money for her son’s school, and of course, acting as class mom. I love her sarcasm and sassiness. This was a quick, fun read. I’ll miss the Class Mom series.

Loved this third installment in this humor filled book about motherhood. I highly recommend this whole series and reading them in order. Thanks to Netgalley for this review copy.

I read Class Mom several years ago and enjoyed it, so I requested this one when I saw it. This was fine. I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. There was a lot going on - I feel like there was one (or two) too many storylines. I did listen to it, and I liked the narrator.

Thanks to @NetGalley, Henry Holt & Company, and Macmillian Audio for my ARC!
