I was super excited that I got offered to read the advanced reader's copy of Tyler Henry's newest memoir. I love all things supernatural, psychic, and mediumship so I instantly knew that I wanted to read his newest book. There were a lot of concepts that I enjoyed reading in this book and learning about Tyler's outlook on life. However, some of the parts were a bit longer than they needed to be and dragged on a bit.

I was hoping to learn something more about the afterlife but instead, I didn't. The book was more of a self-help book instead of what I thought it was going to be. I enjoyed the supernatural stories he shared because that's initially the type of book that I wanted to read not a self-help book but nonetheless I still enjoyed parts of the book.

Tyler talks a lot about manifesting the life you want and some of his concepts I did not always necessarily agree with. You can't always think about the life you want or wish it into existence. The law of attraction only goes so far. Yes, I do believe in the power of prayer too, and appreciated his take on religion but some of the concepts fell flat to me.

Overall, the message behind the book is still one of hope and that life goes on after death. I was just wanting a different book I think instead of a self-help book at the time.

Such a great read. I've been a fan of Tyler Henry for quite a while. This book, Here & Hereafter, is hard to put down. It's filled with useful tidbits on how to think of life and the spirit world; fun and fascinating stories from his readings; and snapshots of his supernatural experiences. I devoured it. I especially enjoyed the Q&A section at the end where Tyler unabashedly shares his true feelings on a variety of subjects. I felt so grateful for the fresh content and candid approach to his answers. Tyler is so kind and unique. I love his raw honesty: he shared not being able to know the impending death of a client's fiancé, his own health struggles, and how he juggles the known and the unknown by beginning his day with gratitude. There is no sugar-coating here. Fans of mediumship will love this book. Definitely one of the better options out there. Forget the fluff, this one's got some bite. Interesting, exciting, and compelling. Recommend.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Here & Here After by Tyler Henry is a great book. I have enjoyed watching the author's television show in the past and was eager to read a book by him. The material in the book gives an overview of what the author has learned during his time as a practicing medium who communicates with deceased spirits. I found the content to be encouraging & helpful. I like how the author doesn't claim to "know it all" & presents his thoughts and opinions in a gentle & tactful way. He also shares details about his personal life & gives tips on how we all can become more in touch with our inner intuition. After reading the book I felt comforted to have confirmation that my departed loved ones are at peace and inspired to live my life to the fullest.

The title is rather misleading. All chapters leading up to the last chapter, seems to be about the author and validating his gift. He doesn't discuss any wisdom from the beyond that the living can impart until the very last chapter and does so from a superficial, bird's eye view. For example, when discussing 'the law of attraction', he mentions that it is so much more than focus, intent, and taking practical steps to achieving what you want. Even gives a comparison to children in Africa wanting clean water. Okay, so if it is so much more than that, you would expect him to elaborate and clarify his statement, yet it ends just there. Not very practical feedback, if your book is supposed to be about wisdom from the departed. This entire book fell flat for me.

The supernatural and paranormal has always been fascinating to me. I’ve seen several of the author’s shows and I appreciate his gift. Receiving the book was a thrill and I couldn’t wait to dig deeper into Tyler’s story. He is very open and candid in sharing his journey, insights and beliefs, but I do get the impression that he holds back out of respect for those that share their stories with him. He highly encourages mindfulness and self-reflection as a way to develop your own intuition. I’d love to hear more from him and believe his writing style will develop as his experiences evolve. At times, there was some repetitiveness in his explanations that might have been more concise, but his authenticity makes it understandable.

This is an extraordinary book of hope and healing with words of wisdom from Tyler Henry. He has helped numerous people throughout the world with his gift as a clairvoyant medium.

He had his first premonition when he was 10 years old with his grandmother's death. This is his second book at age 25 which reveals his profound thoughts of the paranormal and afterlife. He helps us understand the meaning of life with his words.. It's not necessarily new material. But how he presents it is uplifting in the most sacred way.

Within the pages, the reader is bound to relate to several of his thought-provoking messages. He weaves in personal accounts along with stories from his client's experiences and some interesting historical notes. He says, "I believe that our goal shouldn't be to stick to our life purpose, but to instead live purposefully in every moment."

He touches on a number of subjects in each chapter with his views on a spirit-filled life, your ego, your intuition, aligning with your authenticity, navigating with loss and recognizing all kinds of signs. He believes grief is not a clear cut set of stages but continued emotions that are forever changing. He talks about the importance of experiences...not material things.

He ends with responses to some of his client's questions. He says, "We don't take stuff with us, but we do take our consciousness. What we do with it while we're here is all that matters in the grand scheme." He also emphasizes to make the best of your time and "make sure nothing is unsaid to those that mean the most."

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book as there are many others publications that are on the edge. I kept wondering, "who is this guy?" Tyler Henry's writing, however, is clear and logical. Everything he says makes a lot of sense. He's an inspiration and helps us in a way that makes all of us appreciate our life lessons; to hug everyone in our circle and tell them how much we love them.

My thanks to Tyler Henry, St. Martin's Publishing Group and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book to be released on February, 1, 2022.

I loved this book! I have been following Tyler Henry's journey for quite a while. This book has practical, sane advice for everyone. Whether you are a believer or not, his advice for living your life to the fullest, just works.

I loved his stories of his previous readings, I loved how he found a positive lesson in even the most trying of circumstances. His story regarding his grandmother just broke my heart. He is a talented young man who has much to offer, besides his connection with the deceased.

In The Words of Ram Dass
WE’RE ALL JUST WALKING EACH OTHER HOME

I just finished reading this book last night and As I was thinking about my review I thought what words could express what I have learned from reading this book I will just say a lot !!!.
I was really impressed at The way Tyler explains what he has learned from his experiences as a medium and allows us to learn from him. After reading this I feel like I have learned more insight into the world and people we live with.

If you’re a believer or not this book is something you should read Tyler shares his experience’s and gives advice about things that has happened to him some from his reading’s some from just life.

Tyler talks about him growing up and having a premonition about his grandmother‘s death at the age of 10 and how that changed his life and formed the man he is today. He also shares about what it was like growing up with those gifts, it was not easy for Tyler people just didn’t understand.

Through the years Tyler has done many readings had a television series and many different life experiences. But one reading in particular with a wealthy man changed Tyler thinking about what’s important in life. After you read this you will be thinking the same thing.

Death like birth is a part of life what we do with the time defines the quality of our lives.

I enjoyed reading this and Thank You Tyler Henry for Sharing some of your Life‘s experience with us
