I received a complementary copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley upon request. This is my honest opinion.

I have read other books by this author as well as previous stories in this series. This is one of those cat and mouse story lines with the mouse actually having a brain and keeping the upper hand throughout.

Gian Romano goes into a print shop simply looking for the supposed siblings to his brother (by another mother) Dominic. What Gian doesn’t expect is to fall instantly in love with the spunky and straight forward Teagan Beckett. Of course everything works out in the end and they all live Happily Ever After.

There was definitely some heat between the characters and an interesting storyline that made more sense having read the previous books. It would make a great “lose yourself in the book” read.

WOW!! I LOVED this story!! It is fun and sexy and full of family, love and interesting. I fell in love immediately with Gian and Teagan. Their in AI and computer knowledge I really found very interesting. I think I might have even learned some things. LOL!! I also think I might have a new book boyfriend!! I also love the family interactions and love for each other that is visible throughout the story. It made my heart happy.

4 star review of He Said Always (The Lost Corisis #1) by Ruth Cardello

A spin off from the original Corisis series, this is Gian Romano and Teagan ‘s story. Having enjoyed the previous series I was excited to see what Ms.Cardello had in store for this series.

I loved Gian and Teagan, they were easy to relate too and I was invested in the story that Ms. Cardello wove. The chemistry that sizzles between them is hard to ignore but what happens when secrets are revealed. Will it bring them together or rip them apart?

I loved the journey they travelled to get their happily ever after. He Said Always is a story of love, family and romance and taking a chance that the one you offer your heart to will keep it safe.

An entertaining read with some twists and turns which will keep you guessing. Looking forward to see what Ms.Cardello has in store fr the res of this generation.

4.5 Stars for He Said Always (The Lost Corisis #1)
I fell in love with the Corisis clan way back when I first met Dominic so I was excited for the next generation and lost family members stories. I wasn’t disappointed this book is a great start to the new series.
Gian Romano strikes a bet with his niece Judy Corisis to help him find more family members and the search takes them to the Boston area and that where he meets Teagan. Nothing is simple with this family and as you would expect secrets from the past are soon revealed. Problem is these secrets have the power to hurt the ones they love so what will Gian and Teagan do to protect their loved ones.
A friendly family bet soon becomes complicated as sparks fly between Teagan and Gian.
This is a journey full of twists and turns, it’s a captivating, entertaining read that introduces us to more Corisis and Romano family members. This book has wonderful characters, it’s sweet yet passionate and it will keep you on the edge of your seat as you find out if Gian and Teagan will trust each other enough to build a future. Great start to the new series.

Book 1 in the Lost Corisis series from Ruth Cordello, and it’s a complete standalone which also has links with the author’s previous series Corisi Billionaires. Just so you know it does get a little complicated with the brothers, the cousins, the half brothers etc etc, but don’t let that put you off. It was a totally enjoyable and sexy read. Gian Romano is sweet, honest and completely infatuated with Teagan Becket, unfortunately for him Teagan hasn’t been quite as up front with him as she could have been. She has major trust issues, all for good reason, she has some huge secrets, and she’s not willing to share. Great characters, along with a great supporting cast and some fun side stories. What a family. I love them. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Corisi family! New series with characters from prior books. Can be read as a stand alone . Family drama, passion, lust, strong female lead.
Teagan and Gians story is great

I believe we all want to find a long lost relative who sweeps down and gives us most family and the ability to do things we have only dreamed of. The Corisi family has done just that, working to right the many wrongs their father did. This book is another in this family’s story and Ruth did not disappoint. Protective of her best friends, she was leery (as we all would be) when Gian Romano discovers more siblings in his expanding family. I liked the way both reacted differently to the news, emotions that I think we would all go through. The real story is Gian and Teagan. There was an instant attraction to each other and Teagan’s reluctance to it until it was something she could not ignore. With new family members and children growing up, I look forward to seeing what is in store for them.

Enjoyable read
Characters are very good
Found the story slightly weaker than I’m use to from this author, but it didn’t stop me enjoying it, it just meant the plot wasn’t as deep.
Entertaining

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

I love the Corsi's. There are so many places still to go. The relationships with the family, far and wide are what make this story. I cannot wait for more. Endless possibilities if we keep finding more siblings.

While this is the first book in this series there are characters from previous books in it and if you haven't read them you may be a little confused but it is easy to sort out so you don't have to have read them

Gian Romano heads to Boston to try to find out more about the Corisi family but things quickly go off the rails when he meets Teagan Soon he is distracted by her and has to fight hard to drag her out of her IT world. Can these two have a future when it appears the past has a hold on them both You will have to read to see

💙Secrets, secrets, ready to unveil? 👩‍💻

This romance filled with family drama moved along at a good clip despite the tangled web of relationships that, if I had not read several previous novels about the Corisis and Romanos, would have been challenging to keep straight.

AI researcher Teagan Becket is a good match for Gian Romano and their instant attraction leads to steamy times almost immediately and jumps to them talking always as in forever together. Their path is almost ice smooth, intimate Italian dinners, hearts and clocks(?) and bedroom toys(!)😯.

Okay, frankly, Gian's secret career ambitions and the toys stuff just did not excite me. But the rest of the story, so wrapped up in reconciliation, family togetherness and support (and that know-it-all Judy Corisi) was a good read. Not fantastic but good.

Thanks to Montlake and NetGalley for providing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

This was my first Ruth Cardello read and I'm wondering why it took me so long. I know there are previous stories that tie into this one but while I might have been just a LITTLE confused, I didn't feel like not knowing all the previous storylines hurt my enjoyment of this story at all. Gian and Teagan have a lot more in common than meets the eye, despite the rich boy, poor girl personas. They are both scary brilliant and I had a lot of fun "listening" to the science banter and explanations behind their individual missions in life. There are secrets that will affect others in their lives and these two will need to learn to navigate what is super strong chemistry with what they know and hold dear. If you love the super wealthy falls for the average girl story (although there is absolutely NOTHING average about Teagan in reality), this is a great story for you. Thank you NetGalley for the chance to provide an honest review.

He Said Always is a fantastic read. I love Gian and the secrets he holds. His relationship with Judy is sweet. I love how he tries to reign her in her misguided ways. This may be the first book in the Lost Corisis but I love how we get the full Corisis and Romano family. I love how they are such a close family they are and Dominic hasn't changed even when it comes to his daughter Judy. Teagan is super smart and has her own secrets that I cannot wait for you to find out about. I love the pull between Teagan and Gian. There is something about them that just seems so effortless, sweet and passionate. The family secrets play a big role in this one and once you find that out then you wonder if Teagan and Gian can make it through as they find new members of the Corisis family. I love Gian's career choice. He will have you fanning yourself over and over again. Teagan and Gian are just perfect together and you really need to meet them.

Even though this is a stand alone there’s a lot of side characters from previous books that I haven’t read so certain things got a little lost for me, I think if I had read the previous books I would have enjoyed this more but all in all it was a good book.

Gian and Teague were both really great characters with a lot of depth who both really helped each other out but the story was a tad bit slow for me

I have mixed opinions on this book. I requested it because I loved The Wild One in the Corisi series. Before I go too far into this, note this isn't really one of those series where you can't only read one and not have a problem. I was trying to remember who everyone was most of the book and why there were so many missing siblings and what the dad did that i feel like it took away from the story. It was also a little too perfect and a little too I'm in love at first sight. Maybe it was just a little too polished. I don't know. I did enjoy the love story between Gian and Teagan. Again I didn't enjoy the I've known you for 24 hours and I already know I love you, but I enjoyed it as it got closer to the end. 3.5 stars overall.

I'm on the fence about this book, so instead of getting too deep into the storyline, I'll break this review down to plus and minuses.

➕ Two really smart characters, in which that intelligence can be a hindrance and often misunderstood
➕ Gian and Teague are really kind hearted and fiercely loyal to those important in their lives
➕ Strong moral compasses
➕ Gian and Teague truly help each other become better people and step outside their individual comfort zones
➕ Strong family relations. Part of the best scenes in the book.
➕ Chemistry is totally believable and hot!

➖ A huge backstory to sift through. I guess a lot of these characters have been introduced in previous books. Since this was my first dip into the Corisi world, it took me awhile to figure out who's who. Still not sure if I'm 100%.
➖ Slow start. Took me a few chapters to warm to this story
➖ Without giving anything away, I was a little disappointed with parts of the ending. It's an HEA, but one element seemed to go against their values.

Overall, I'd say the book is good, well thought out and researched, but some of the details were a bit overwhelming for me.

I received an advanced copy through NetGalley and Wildfire Marketing Solutions. I am leaving this review voluntarily

It’s sometimes very daunting coming into a series without knowing any of the other characters or connections beforehand. But strangely, even with all the references to other characters and storylines, He Said Always didn’t completely confuse me. I credit that to Ruth Cardello’s style of storytelling. There’s a lot of repetition throughout the book, reminding you of who each character is. While that can seem like too much, it’s also good to just have that information on hand as you go through the story. And it’s also great because half the characters in this book have connections to other characters and there are quite a few, so it’s good to not lose complete track of everyone that’s in the story.

I wasn’t completely sold on the relationship at the start, it felt a little too convenient and rushed for me. They met, they were drawn to each other and then pieces started falling into place together. I didn’t believe it and I didn’t feel the romance there. It did take me some time to really wrap my head around Gian and Teagan, but I have to say that once I was able to really just accept these two characters, I did love how things progressed for them. Gian’s the one with all the family connections and drama, while Teagan lives a quiet and simple life. I really liked what we got to see with these two characters individually and the lives they lead. Their meet-cute was a fun and interesting one too.

I think part of the problem for me was that it was insta-lust and these two just fell deep into each other really fast. Especially with Teagan not knowing or entirely trusting Gian. I found that a little hard to stomach at first. Also, Gian’s got all these secrets and a life that he’s still coming to terms with and Teagan was just willingly letting him into her life and agreeing to do things with and for him that seemed a little out of character at first. Sure, I eventually started to feel that connection between them, but it did take me a little while.

He Always Said might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it was definitely an interesting change from the stuff I was reading. I enjoyed watching the couple fall in love, even if it happened really fast, I enjoyed the other relationships and the suspense aspect of it all. There was a lot I enjoyed, and quite a bit that I didn’t. But it’s a great introduction to Ruth Cardello and her books, which is sometimes what I enjoy most about reading advance copies.

This was my first from Ruth CArdello and I went into the story blind. I was hoping it would hold my interest more than it did, but the beginning moved very slow for my taste. I think those who like billionaire romances would enjoy this one more! DNF
