Dragonblade Publishing has given readers a Christmas book of 21 Authors that are so captivating that not only will you want this book for your Book shelves , but how remarkable will your friends feel if you share this with them as a gift!

The stories are so varied that I truly appreciate that each author has there own unique approach to fulfilling a Happy Ever After Dickens Style! One can’t compare stories because each author has their own special characteristic of writing style! I personally love the free-spiritedness within this book because it all seems to flow!

I plan to not only purchase this book for myself , but I think it’s marvelous way to introduce my family & friends into Romance books because of the whimsy and diverseness of the characters would appeal to them..

I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

An enjoyable holiday anthology of regency romances. As with any collection, there is variety of great short stories and some that are just average. To be fair, it is hard to write a great short story that does not feel rushed. Thankfully, there are many great examples in this collection. A pleasant way to pass a few moments, or a few hours, depending on whether you sit and savor or pick and choose. I have some favorite authors represented and had the pleasure of experiencing some new ones. I gladly recommend to others! I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own and freely given.

‘‘Twas an Executioner Knight before Christmas.

Amusing and slightly dark look at Max of Loxbear’s child rearing capabilities.
The man only knows war and killing, so when telling the Christmas story he puts his own take on the characters and the reasons.
Children are impressionable, and when a ghost shows him his daughters future, it’s a bit of a shock, But can he change ?

Love this, so different.

The Remembrance Of Love

I have a massive soft spot for this author and this series.
If you’ve read any of the others in the ‘book of Love’ season you may have come across both the Brayden‘ sand Farthingales, this is about Romulus and Violets daughter Hyacinth, and Innes who is a Dukes son and former cabin boy on Romulus’s ship.

Now adults Innes and Hyacinth meet again, and show how easy it is to fall in love, but will Romulus let his little girl go.

It’s fun , sensitive, and beautiful, the characters are full of a wonderful chemistry and passion, and it’s a brilliant little novella that gives you a bit of an ‘ahhh’ moment.
Can’t get better than that.

A sweet tale that matches Pru Lennox with her childhood friend and now a vicar, Alexander.
These two are so sweet , they sort of dance around each other and their feelings.

Always in the forefront of there story are her two brothers also friends of her true love.

It’s beautiful, delicate and satisfying to read.
Definitely one to relax with while sitting quiet with a good box of chocolates.

A Yuletide Yearning

A pirate take on Christmas Carol, it’s very different, amusing and enjoyable to read.
A great vision from past to present to future , changes a pirates mind about love and marriage.

Very enjoyable and entertaining,
With some excellent characters.

This is only a small selection of the stories in this compilation, but it gives you an idea of the quality and just how good these authors are.
A wonderful collection!

This book was okay I only really liked 2 of the stories. Relied heavily on over used Tropes especially the Christmas tropes which are tropes that seem to be used the most in Christmas stories and hardly ever the rest of the time.

This is a nice collection of stories, something for everyone. I thought some of the stories were really good and I didn’t want them to end. Others were just ok and rambling.
Altogether a perfect book to get you in the holiday mood
I enjoyed it!
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy

I love a good regency anthology, and O Night Divine delivers regency romance in spades. Whether it’s a jilted lover from the past or a spinster who finds love at Christmas, there’s a story for every regency romance lover in this collection of short stories. Perfect for the holidays.

I loved all the different christmas stories in this collection. Really loved Kathryn's book and a few of the authors I have read before and some new ones to me. Christmas is for the little ones, hopes and dreams for adults, new love and new beginnings. Excellent series.
