It was time for another book starring a hunky cowboy. Wes harbors deep regrets and guilt his father’s death. Thea has some of the same feelings toward her failed marriage and deceased husband. Tougher they grow as individuals as those feelings and take risks with their feelings. There were several really good descriptive scenes that made the characters leap off the pages and really engaged the reader. I also like how Wes interacted with Thea’s kids who really needed a father figure. The e ding was really good. It’s a sweet, touching, hopeful read about getting a second chance.
