This is the second book I’ve read of Georgina’s and it won’t be the last. This story was so thrilling! Just when I thought I knew what happened to Sabine, I was thrown for a loop.
The storyline was very easy to follow along and it was very enjoyable to read.
I will recommend this book to others.

Wow! Fantastic book that grabbed me at page one and didn’t let go until the very last word. So many fantastic twists and turns! Great storyline with many layers of intrigue unfolding seamlessly throughout the book. Terrific characters that brought so many emotions to the surface. Highly recommend. Huge 5 stars from me!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I absolutely loved the author's debut, The Stepdaughter, so I requested this straight away. I did like it, but I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I thought I would.

The positives were that the book was really well-written, characters and conversations were authentic and parts of the plot were very clever.

However, I feel that there was too much misdirection given that the novel was written in the first person. It could have worked if the book had been written in third person but as it is I just felt lied to rather than misdirected.

Overall I did enjoy the book but I don't think it's one that will stay with me.

The Missing Woman by Georgina Cross is a thriller that will pull you along at warp speed. This is a twisty read that had me picking my jaw up off the floor more than once.

Erica lives in a quiet neighbourhood where everyone seems to know everyone else and their business. Her neighbour, Sabine Miller, is a woman who seems to have it all, and is the envy of many. When she goes missing without a trace, Erica is chilled when she realizes that she was the last person to see her. Everyone in the tightly knit community has their own theory about what really happened to Sabine Miller, but it is Erica who seems to be the most invested of all.

This was a fast-paced, high adrenaline read that had me in its grasp from the very start. The twists and turns will keep you guessing throughout, and you will not be able to resist racing through to the end to discover what really happened to The Missing Woman.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC.

This was a pretty decent thriller. The story wasn't really anything unique, but I liked the pacing and the twists and turns, and how the author gradually built up the suspense. The ending was really well build-up, however, I missed the surprise or shock that I had hoped for. The twist was a little predictable and not really anything new.
I also wasn't the biggest fan of the writing style, the dialogue sometimes felt a little forced and I couldn't really get into the writing.

Edge sharp and compelling.
Something horrible has happened to Sabine Miller and I may know why...
Someone has been threatening Sabine,” he says. “Now they’ve kidnapped her.”
Hours later, I wish I’d run faster. The whole town is searching the streets, calling Sabine’s name over and over. On the TV, Mark is begging for someone to bring his wife home.
The truth is, I was the last person to see her alive—and it’s killing me inside. Now the cops are at my door asking questions. I’m terrified they’ll find out what happened years ago between me and Sabine. Something I’ve never told anyone.
But I need to tell someone. Can you keep a secret?
I loved the past story of Sabine. The secret was darkest. Georgina is back with a edge sharp and compelling psychological thriller I think everyone should give it a go.
I'm promoting it among my fellow Authors Bloggers Family Friends and followers.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me an advanced copy of this psychological thriller.
