Science is fun and interesting and this book really brings it to life. My grandkids loved the experiments and we had great fun doing them.
A great resource for parents and teachers alike. And a must have for school libraries.

What a great book of experiments that are simple and use easily obtainable materials. For the classroom and home use. You'd be a cool grandparent to help foster a love of science from your kitchen. Recommended for kids 8 and older it's well written and has good illustrations. Has a glossary and is simple for children to leaf through and find something fun to do. I liked the Ice cream in a bag and the balancing experiments. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review

These are fun and simple science experiments that kids are likely to enjoy. Most of them don't need special supplies and they're nice and quick. I appreciate that the science is explained (it's shocking how many books don't do this) and the layout makes it easy to flip through and read.

I read a digital ARC of this book for review.

These tricks are super easy to do and will create hours of fun for any child. My son wants to do so many of them that he can't pick which one to do first.

As a math teacher I had to read this one! I am a math coach at a STEM middle school where we focus on science and math and how to make it all more meaningful and engaging. I read the maths one as well and loved it just as much. This both would be great additions to our school.

This is definitely in book that I could see being used at our school. I found the illustrations to be great. The science tricks were easy to follow and replicate. The tricks were definitely engaging and easy to understand. This is definitely perfect for middle school and even elementary kids. I would buy this for my own kids.

My STEM-loving kid and I both really enjoyed looking at these experiments and deciding which ones we want to try first. I appreciate all the extra information included (the reasons WHY each trick works) -- it makes this homeschooling mom's job much easier!

This would be a great book for a classroom or a child who loves science -who doesn't love science? There are some very cool but simple science experiments in there that would keep kids entertained and still learning lots!

Fun, written for kids, yet educational.

A fun science book that would be great for home activities and school activities alike. They are written in a very child friendly way so your children will be able to practice their reading and conduct the experiments at home independently or with a little help.

As a Primary School Teacher, I have completed the “Ice Cream in a Bag” experiment at school with my 9 & 10 year old students and it was really fun AND educational. Even my more reluctant and lower level students were engaged and learning. I have also seen the “Marshmallow Melter” experiment conducted at school by another class. Both of these experiments worked as explained, engaged the students and extended their learning.

As with the maths book in this series, this book is great. The activities are interesting and look like they'll be good fun. There were some old favourites but also some that I haven't seen before. I liked how the science behind each activity was explained clearly but without using too much overly technical language.

I fully plan to buy this once it is available in print form. A science teacher friend will love to have it in her classroom resources. My daughter is obsessed with science, and now I'm buying all sorts of things for her experiments.
