Bobby Siu's "Opening Doors to Diversity in Leadership" is an ambitious exploration of the many dimensions of diversity in leadership roles. Siu's depth of understanding of the topic is evident as he weaves together personal experience, academic research, and case studies to make his case.

Siu's passion for the subject matter shines through in the valuable and enlightening ideas he presents, challenging readers to reconsider preconceived notions about leadership and diversity. His core tenets encourage us to view diversity as a strength rather than a barrier, which is especially relevant in our increasingly globalized world.

However, the book struggles with its structure and clarity at times, as it can become mired in complex, academic language that may distract from the potent insights offered. A more rigorous editing process could have helped to ensure that the ideas were conveyed in a more straightforward and organized manner.

Despite these shortcomings, Siu's work is still valuable. His analysis of diverse leadership styles and their impact on organizational growth offers a unique perspective and provides valuable food for thought for those already familiar with the subject matter.

For those seeking a deeper understanding of diversity in leadership roles, "Opening Doors to Diversity in Leadership" is a valuable read, even if it requires patience to navigate through the more complex sections. It offers meaningful insights and sparks important conversations about diversity in leadership.

A very good read for the times we are in! As someone who works in the business world and has held and hopes to continue to hold leadership positions I find this to be a good read. This is long and does seem clinical but the information it contains is important! I am going to use this book with my mentees moving forward!
