The first thing that comes to mind when I read this book is that it is definitely written by a man. It is simultaneously hilarious, sexy, and on point from a teenager point of view. Eddie, or Jesse, is a young American in Paris but gets himself into big trouble. Trouble meaning kidnapped, robbed, befriended a prostitute, had all his money stolen from him, becomes a wanted man and is responsible for a murder. Some scenarios he gets into are laugh out loud funny that you being to wonder if this is not the memoir of the author himself. The ending is both incredibly sad but succinct. What a joyous adventure!

The opening line of this book completely and utterly sets the premise and pace of whole book. The description matches the story, it is a great read and full of twists and turns that you do not expect. I would recommend and will be suggesting others to read this on my blog account.
