Engaging and informative. A recommended purchase for collections where business and entrepreneurship titles are popular.

This book encourages, supports and inspires women in business to take ownership over their actions and businesses. It discusses the realities, the practicalities, the difficulties and the possibilities. A really insightful read.

What a great resource for any woman who's thinking about starting a business or who's already ankle-, knee-, or neck-deep in one! Angelica Malin manages to cover everything from mindset to knowing your why, building your team, finding financing, building a brand, wrangling social media, and so much more, all in an accessible and practical manner. This is not a bird's eye view of establishing a business, nor is it a weedy textbook. Goldilocks? Perhaps! I thought it was just right. Case studies of entrepreneurial women show the real-world application of Malin's guidance and insights, and journal sections invite the reader to ask and answer the questions that help a business-owner become a leader of herself and a leader of others. All in all, I thought this book was like having a business coach you can fit in your laptop bag. Thank you NetGalley and Kogan Page for providing a copy of the book for review purposes.

Great book to guide you through your business idea set up. I liked the concept of the book a lot: this is a workbook, plenty of stories to inspire and advise, and also a lot of useful information. It doesn't really matter what gender you are because this can be a great source of information for any entrepreneur.

She Made It by Angelica Malin was inspiring for all women who dream of building their own company and being their own boss. Much of the novel is from personal experience or first-hand experience from women who have found success. She has questions included that help readers to exercise their brains and help them to figure out what it is they want to come out of their business; the image they want people to see, and what their values will be in their new company. Angelica Malin found success and so have many other women by staying positive and keeping their focus on their success instead of their failures. She says in the novel that many will try and tell you that your goal is impossible, but when they do you must ignore them and focus on improving and moving forward.

This book is similar to Guy Raz's bestselling "How I Built This" except that this book is targeted primarily at female entrepreneurs. Women business owners have it harder when it comes to raising seed money, and differ significantly from men for finding the confidence to pursue their ideas, and scaling their business. This book answers all those questions. Love that each chapter contains case studies from successful business owners on how they overcame the struggles in their business. A fantastic read for any woman who dreams of building their business or becoming a CEO!
