Beautiful pictures of every meal and well written instructions for every recipe. I would say that calling it weeknight dinners is a little bit of a stretch, unless you wanted to make something special.

A glorious sequel to Antoni's first cookbook, "Antoni in the Kitchen," Let's Do Dinner offers the similar stunning photographs and easy to follow, delicious recipes. Antoni has a knack for making cooking affordable, approachable and fun.

Let's Do Dinner is broken up into a series of categories depending on ingredients and focus of the dish. A few examples of these are "Carb Comas" (a personal favorite of fine), "Veggie Nights" and "We Meat Again." I found this to be extremely helpful when deciding on my weeks recipes. There is a little bit of everything for every type of eater, including a vast number vegetarian and vegan recipes!

Every recipe I have tried from Let's Do Dinner (& there has been quite a few) and turned out delicious and almost as beautiful as Antoni's! With easy to follow instructions, this cookbook is literally for anyone, regardless of your skills in the kitchen. If you are looking to change up your dinner routines and try something no, look no further than Antoni: Let's Do Dinner!

Really impressed by the recipes I saw in this cookbook! We don't see much of Antoni's cooking talents on Queer Eye since he tends to do easier recipes (and just 1) in each episode, but they really shine in this cookbook. There's a balance of healthier meals with slightly more decadent ones, and flipping through the book also takes you on a bit of a globetrotting journey since he offers Greek, Asian, Polish, and other recipes with his own little twist. None of the recipes seem too hard for a home cook, which makes this cookbook overall a very approachable collection of recipes to make at home. My only complaint from an aesthetic perspective is that the title of every recipe is huge and takes up half the page, leaving only a bit of space to fit in the ingredients and instructions for you to follow, making it feel cramped and harder to read.

So far, this book has exceeded my expectations! I love a good cookbook and I loved Antoni on Queer Eye and his fresh take on how to eat healthy but still realistically. I expected this book to include a lot of recipes that I would maybe try "one day" but honestly, most of them look doable to me! I am really impressed with the variety of ingredients and techniques that I've seen so far and I'm eager to try out more. Fantastic addition to my kitchen.

My wife are big fans of Antoni in the Kitchen so we were really excited to get a copy of this new cookbook and it definitely does not disappoint! The cookbook's pictures and layout are exquisite and Antoni has a lot of celebrity friends along for the ride throughout. The recipes are outstanding and relatively quick and easy to make. There's even a helpful section in the beginning to keep your pantry packed like a pro. In Antoni in the Kitchen, we particularly loved the Moroccan Lamb Bolognese and this cookbook has some similarly non-traditional takes on traditional dishes. I can't wait to buy a physical copy when it comes out!

Admitting that I was very intimidated when I received this cookbook. I need all the help I can get in the kitchen, and at first glance, I thought I was in way over my head. However, now admitting I was wrong. This cookbook is quickly becoming one of my go-to cookbooks in my collection. Overall, the presentation and layout is very inviting. Loved the section on pantry staples. This cookbook, in my opinion, contains a good mix of recipes for those who are experienced, as well as .. challenged, like myself.

Anyone else love to try new recipes? Just me.

I usually try at least one new recipe a week, so when I had the opportunity to review Antoni Let’s Do Dinner on @netgalley, I jumped at the chance.

First, this book will be amazing as a hard cover, the photos are gorgeous. There are lots of photos of the finished dishes, so I can verify my version looked similar.

I like when chefs include fun tidbits about the recipes; it makes the book more personal. Antoni has little intros about when he made a recipe or about his friends.

I tried two recipes so far - one for oatmeal pancakes with apples and bacon and one for chicken paillards with caper-butter sauce. The recipes are easy to make and the two I picked didn’t have any unusual ingredients that I won’t use again. My kids loved the pancakes and didn’t notice the oatmeal. I think the texture was thicker than buttermilk pancakes but still tasty. The apples were amazing, I’d never thought to add rosemary to cooked apples. I’m not a big sour cream fan but the sour cream topping was delicious with a hint of sweetness. I’m going to sub plain Greek yogurt next time to get a bit of protein.

The chicken is a new favorite. I loved the Italian feel without all the breading of chicken Parmesan. I borrowed the apple recipe from the pancakes and repurposed it as a side (the apples are so good and simple).

Antoni includes his top ten easy recipes and his pantry and refrigerator staples. The book is then divided into salads for dinner, veggie nights, eggs, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, poultry, meats, cold rainy nights (soups, nachos and pancakes), and snacks and sides.

As a Queer Eye fan, I absolutely HAD to get my hands on this book and I was not disappointed. I love how Antoni’s personality comes out through his writing and makes the reader feel like he’s in the kitchen along side you teaching you how to cook. As a somewhat beginner cook, some of the recipes can seem a little daunting, but I would recommend giving all the recipes a chance and a read through then starting out with the ones you’re most comfortable with (like the mashed potatoes topped with fries!). In terms of cookbooks this one has it all: gorgeous pictures, fun celebrity cameos, and delicious sounding recipes.

I really enjoyed this cookbook. It's very easy to follow which is great since we don't have the same amount of time for cooking as we did previously. I like the pantry and fridge staples section. We made Miso Noodle Soup, Sweet Pea Falafel Salad, Lazy Perogies, and Pork Burgers. I liked how when we listed wild mushrooms he included the types to look for in the stores. This has been missing from other cookbooks we have. I do wish he gave recommendations for other items listed as stables - some cookbooks list more specific items such as Benton's Bacon, or if you should have light or dark soy sauce. This is definitely a good cookbook to add to a collection.

This is a good book which gives different ideas on classic dishes. The photography makes the food look fancy and delicious. The recipes are written in an easy to understand way. A good mix of healthier and not so healthy recipes.

Written like you are talking with a friend, I read this cookbook from cover to cover. A great mix of recipes to push your palate and recipes to bring you comfort. Simply explained recipes with readily available ingredients. We made the nachos and the pancakes last weekend and .... yum!!! I will definitely be buying a physical copy of this one for my collection when it comes out!

First off, I adore the simple elegance that is this cookbook. Easy to read, filled with delicious looking photos. I love that the beginning starts with a Stock You Pantry page. THANK YOU! I Need every cookbook to give me a list of basics to always have on hand so I can throw together dinner in a jif!
I found myself extremely happy with the fact that I only needed to grab one or two items to make quite a few of these recipes. As the backup cook in my family, I would like to make something delicious looking (and tasting!) that is also healthy.
I look forward to adding a copy of Let's Do Dinner to my shelf!

This cookbook was a delight, the images really bring the food to life and made me want to try so many of them!

Although some ingredients are a little unusual and hard to get in a regular supermarket, they are items that could be subbed for other things, so some level of imagination may be needed by the reader.

My only downside was the 'celebrity' friend images which I felt took away from his food being the 'main event' - likely just a personal preference.

Thank you to NetGalley, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Antoni Porowski for the ARC in return for my honest review.

A great book packed with delicious, healthy recipes! I typically gravitate towards meat-based meals, but the plant-based recipes in this book are sooo good. Plus - all the photography featuring Antoni and his friends eating dinner are STUNNING! I can't wait to cook more of the pasta recipes in this book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Antoni Porowski for the ARC of Antoni: Let's Do Dinner in return for my honest review.

I loved Antoni's first cookbook Antoni In The Kitchen. His second cookbook is just as great! The design, style and fonts of the book are gorgeous as well as all the photos.

While some of the recipes may be intimidating to some people due to some unusual, hard-to-get ingredients--- the recipes can be tweaked a bit to fit with ingredients you can find in your grocery store. I used some of the recipes as a guide for a dish I could easily make at home.

I also found that there were different sauces and sides included in specific recipes that I have tried without making the actual recipe. The Chili Mayo and the Spicy Miso Soy Sauce are a must to try on grilled vegetables or seafood!

Antoni has developed another beautiful cookbook--a must-have for your collection!

I love Antoni, he is my favorite person on Queer Eye and it's because his love of food is so genuine and his smile is the cutest. I absolutely love this cookbook. The recipes are comforting and not overly complex. The images are absolutely stunning. I'll be making the soups all winter and transitioning into salads for Spring/Summer.

I would absolutely recommend Antoni: Let's Do Dinner to my Family & Consumer Sciences teacher for her classroom library. The recipes in Antoni's new cookbook sound amazing. What I appreciate the most about his recipes are that they are simple and easy to get on the table in a reasonable amount of time and filled with ingredients that are easy to find anywhere. This will be on my pre-order list for sure!
