Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an Advanced Reader's e-Copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

The book is SO stylish. I was glad I was reading on an iPad and not a Kindle so I could see the incredible pictures and detailing closely. I think it would make for a stunning gift for anyone cooking minded.

In terms of the recipes, it's been cleverly portioned so you can easily find a bunch of suggestions for your mood/dietary preferences and state of your pantry. A little bit concerned with the whole Indian-ish (white) approach to Indian recipes, also some very bougie ingredient requirements for otherwise simple dishes. Might not work for me, given that there's 3 sections devoted to meat and fish that I don't eat. This book is meant for other white people, given the ambiguity in spices and the do what you please approach to heat, but if you're the intended audience, you'll (probably) love it.

Antoni Porowski serves us a diverse range of recipes, from vegan soups to red meat dishes and light snacks. The readers familiar with Antoni from the show Queer Eye will recognize his yakitori recipe and his soft spot for traditional Polish food such as pierogi and cabbage-based dishes which he reimagines in a modern context. The recipes are generally simple but with a twist and require fairly common ingredients, though some could be outlined in a bit more detail. The book is very chic, it uses an elegant font and features glossy pictures of Antoni dining with the Queer Eye cast or with Gigi Hadid. References to other New York restaurants are thrown in the mix. Overall, an enjoyable read, and recipes that I actually want to try.

"Antoni: Let's Do Dinner," is the second cookbook by Antoni Porowski. Antoni makes gorgeous food and has gorgeous friends, both of which are featured in his book.

Antoni's passion for food and people comes through on every page. He references his Polish heritage a few times, and several of the recipes are traditional or adaptations of traditional Polish recipes. Naturally, there are at least two with kielbasa.

The recipes sound incredible, the book is an easy read, and you'll want to head to the kitchen immediately to start prepping. The downside is that a number of the items needed in the recipes are not really pantry items for a lot of people, or at least, not the people I know. Most of the recipes also require a lot more prep work and steps than I would expect for a "weeknight" meal.

Well worth the read for fans of Queer Eye and good food.

I received an advance copy from NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in exchange for my honest review.

Absolute Truth: Planning and preparation are crucial for cooking healthy, delicious meals. Dinner isn't magically made, but Antoni: Let's Do Dinner is like a wish come true because it provides grocery lists and recipes that are just plain helpful. And real. And even better, there is an honesty about this book that acknowledges cravings and taste as something that should not be ignored, but embraced as comfort or reward. Beautifully arranged, this is a guide that can get dinner on the table in a flash, but can also help to prepare an Instagram worthy dish that will make mouths drool. The recipes are like invitations to a life you want to live and the photos are touchstones that this food is possible.

A very visually appealing cookbook divided into trendy sections of hearty salads, vegan meals, sandwiches, carb comas (which made me smile and is all about pasta), fish dishes, chicken dishes, meat, comfort foods and snacks. There are no sweets - but that doesn't bother me.
The recipes are zingy with lots of colours, spices and twists. They are inspired by recipes from the world and they look delicious. I was nicely surprised to see some of my personal little known favourites, like the Japanese ochazuke, here called salmon rice bowl with green tea broth, a mushroom mapo tofu with its sooo distinctive szechuan pepper, or vodka tomato sauce for pasta, harisa with potatoes, chicken in fruity white wine.... those are are things I cook myself and love and seeing them here, in one book make me really want to try the other recipes out. There is a picture for every single dish, most are not fussy for a tasty result, highlighted at the front are especially picked quick ones, which is a nice gesture.
I was afraid that this book would rely too much on the persona of Anthoni, which truthfully I do not know as I never watched the show he was in, but no, this is a great home cookbook to have to spice up everyday meals and turn them into something exciting.

Antoni does it again! I have his first cookbook (which I love) and this one is amazing too. The graphics are beautiful and the recipes seem easy and healthy. I can't wait to try some. Thank you so much for this advanced reader copy!

I love Queer Eye, and Antoni is my favourite. His first cookbook was on my wish list, and I looked so much forward to his next one!
I just finished going through it and simply loved it. I want to make so many of the dishes!
They aren’t too difficult and there are good step by step instructions.
Nothing I hate most, is a cookbook without any pictures! This one had plenty of beautiful foto’s thankfully!
Excited to have the physical copy of this book

I absolutely love the Queer Eye reboot, and Antoni is one of the most interesting characters on the show. Not only does he dazzle Queer Eye makeover-ees with his great crowd-pleasing recipes, he also is respected for his advice and his laid back personality. Those qualities are all married together in this cookbook.

The recipes look delicious and the simple ingredients list mixed with the fantastic photography creates a super eye-catching cookbook. This is definitely one you can display in the kitchen just because! The ingredients are not so out there that you’ll have to substitute or search endlessly, but special enough to create something unique.

I also enjoyed the snippets about Antoni’s lifestyle and the special friends he invited to be a part of this book. Overall, not only a great collection of recipes, but an enjoyable read as well!

What a beautiful and feel good cookbook! I love Antoni because he's so personable, down to Earth, and relatable and that really translated through in this cookbook. The photos are bright and colorful and the recipes are certainly far beyond your average cookbook. Although the recipes were mostly intimidating to me, I would definitely try them out for a party or having special company over.

I adore Antoni on Queer Eye and to see that he has a cookbook is so exciting! This cookbook is full of amazing-looking recipes. I love the aesthetic of the whole thing AND that there's a picture for almost every dish. The special little explanations at the top of each recipe adds a personal touch but is also often helpful (like why an ingredient is included or what could potentially be substituted) — it just reminds me of when he's teaching a recipe on-screen and it's like inviting him into my kitchen. The inclusion of the snacks and easy/comfort foods is great, too — it makes the book less pretentious and those nachos look AMAZING. Of course, even the salads look delicious. I haven't made any of the recipes yet, but absolutely plan to!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for the opportunity to read and review this cookbook. First off, I love Queer Eye, so any chance to see what the guys are doing outside of the show is amazing. Antoni always shares easy to follow recipes with obtainable ingredients for each episode, so I assumed his book would contain similar options - I was not disappointed!

The book flows well and has a range of meal options, from breakfast, to salads to fish and hamburgers. You might think that you've seen some of these recipes before, but what makes them special is Antoni's spins on classic favorites. Take his slow-cooker cog au vin recipe - who doesn't love something they can throw together before work only to come home to an amazing meal that you didn't have to slave over the stove for all day? His subtle changes to the recipe make it sound lighter and sweeter than the traditional. I already have one of his recipes slated for dinner this week - salmon and spinach rice bowl with green tea broth. Holy smokes, I cannot wait to try this.

The cookbook is beautiful and contains gorgeous photos of many of his dishes, further enticing the reader to dive headfirst into making many of these. Amidst the pages you'll find comfort, adventure a bit of spice; just the combo I want from a cookbook.

I absolutely loved this cookbook! I really loved that the recipes included were very unique, fresh and exciting, BUT the recipes didn't include ingredients that are so out there that it deters you from even considering making it. The recipes include equal parts common pantry staples and ingredients that you could easily find at a grocery store. I also like the small blurb that accompanies each recipe. Antoni's passion for food is clearly shown in this book. The photos were great throughout, a perfect mix of the recipes and also lifestyle images with Antoni (and friends). It was so fun to read this and get a glimpse in to Antoni's world. This book has clear fonts, great photos and solid organization! I plan on buying the hard copy to display in my kitchen.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

This is a fun cookbook, especially for the newer cook who wants to try a few dishes in order to improve. The recipes are easy to follow. My only complaint is that the e-book format does not work well for this book so I would recommend that this book be bought as a physical copy.

I would recommend this book

I very much enjoyed the updated Queer Eye series. I find all five incredible in their own individual way. Antoni has a charming and sweet personality and his excitement over food is infectious. I bought his first cookbook straight away and enjoyed it.

When I saw that he had a second cookbook coming out I was thrilled. The book itself does not disappoint. The recipes are clever, innovative, and most importantly they seem doable in a normal household. Every recipe has a little anecdote relating to the recipes or the people who inspired them. I am over the moon to try the Oatmeal Pancakes with Apples and Bacon, the Creamy Pappardelle with Chicken and Bacon, and the Polish Banh Mi. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

There are so many delicious sounding recipes in here. Beyond that you get another little glimpse into Antoni's life and personality. All the food photos are gorgeous as are the ones of Antoni and friends.

Thank you #Netgalley for the advanced copy of one of my favorite chefs!

This weekend I made the white bean cauliflower soup and it was amazing! I also couldn't believe how easy it was with so many items already on hand! I appreciated Antoni beginning the cookbook with his recommended fridge "staples". I found this cookbook as being very manageable for the at home chef, I did not feel overwhelmed with the recipes. I appreciated the comments on each recipe with recommended changes or substitutions. I can't wait to try the vodka rigatoni next!

Definitely not made for a kindle! I had some weird formatting issues with blank bullet points and strange spacing that made it very difficult to follow some recipes. Aside from that, the book is a joy. Antoni has a fabulously pure energy that resonates throughout the book,

I have loved Antoni since day one of the Queer Eye reboot. I love all of them l bit as a fellow foodie he caught my eye rather quickly. Just like on the show Antoni keeps it simple in his cookbook, but sinole doesn't mean boring. It means approchavke recipes that are a bit elevated from most t people's go to dishes allowing the opportunity to add some excitement to your dinners. I absolutely adore the adorable pictures of Antoni throughout the book!

I really enjoy reading cookbooks and Antoni is one of my favourite fab five guys so was interested to see what this book would have to offer.

There are one or two recipes id try but overall it felt very much like his Instagram and I wouldn't rush out to buy it for the recipes alone. The colours in the book are lovely and reading it on the app rather than a black and white kindle was definitely a benefit.

Id give the book 3 stars overall.

It is a good and well-done cookbook. The recipes are well shot and presented in a super appetizing way (not all cookbooks do that well). As for the contents of the recipe itself, it all felt a little bland for my liking. I wish there was a bit more emphasis on techniques separate from recipes. I also wish if there were any details of good substitutes for vegan. At this time and age when climate crisis begs us to make better individual choices, it is hard to see a book mainly consist of recipes with animal products.

As a major Queer Eye fan, I was so excited to see that Antoni is coming out with another cookbook! While of course the recipes look amazing, all of the pictures are beautiful, too (and I loved the cameos his friends make in some pictures)! The variety of recipes was great, from some more fancy ones, to new takes on traditional comfort foods. I'm really trying to expand my recipes and am very excited to try these ones out!
