Loved the first book in this series and was very excited for the sequel which absolutely lived up to my expectations. I really like how it showed how each of the characters approached ruling and having power.

I received a copy of this book before all the drama with the author started, It took me a while to decide to read it. I finally did because I don't like having unread books. I read the first one and I have to say that I quite enjoyed the second book. I loved where she took the plot and the twists and turns. Part of me hopes that she can figure out her life so we can get a resolution and other people can read this book. I know that she said and did something but I believe people can apologize, change and get a second chance.

Apparently they have pulled this book from being published so I haven’t even bothered to start it. I’m only writing this so it doesn’t go against my percentage. Obviously I have no other feelings except that I wish there weren’t issues, but alas…

This was a fantastic ending full of twists and turns I did not see coming. I am extremely grateful I got to finish this duology. My fantasy book club picked up book 1 last year and we all loved it. It left off with a cliffhanger and it was exciting to get the completion. Each character had their moment to shine and the Dragons shined even more. I really hope this book gets released as it was an action packed masterful piece of work. This series with its range of characters resonates to a verity of people.

Thank you to Random House and NetGalley for providing me the opportunity to review this title.

I'm a little biased in giving a review to this book. I loved the first one so much! Plus, I love her previous series. War of Dragons is a page turner. It has war, adventure, magic, and everything in between. I did not want it to end. A must read series! Book two is a well worth your time!

This was just as brutal and bloody as the first...and just as good. Some scenes are creepily disgusting and there's a bit of innuendo, so this may be best for ages 14 and up.

I'm so sad that we can't read this book! I loved the first book so much and I want to know what happens. This author is talented. Whatever happened, I hope we can read this someday! Please bring this series back :)

The sequel to House of Dragons is just as great as I was hoping it would be. I loved the continuation of the story from multiple viewpoints. That was something I enjoyed in the first book and was excited to see it continued in this story. I was also happy to see that each character played an important role in the war. There wasn't one specific hero and I was pleased by that. The real jewel of this book was the battle scenes. The author transports you into the battle with her writing. If you enjoyed the first book in the series, War of Dragons is definitely worth reading.

Fantasy, dragons, and dystopian fiction. I'm really enjoying this series. I had not read the first book in this series prior to receiving this title to review and fell in love with the characters and the action. The second book is also a worthy read. Students will especially like that the emperors initially "chosen" just happened to be the underdogs. I can always relate to that! Overall, good series.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

The battle scenes in this book were outstanding! I felt like I was thrust into the middle of each viewpoint. I'm glad we still got everyone's viewpoint in this novel and I am really happy about how each character was able to grow into theirselves. There was a lot of information thrown into this book, but I didn't feel like I was lost or overwhelmed.

All of these characters have a key part in this war and I love that so much. They are not waiting idlely by while one person saves the day. Without each one of these characters, a lot of things would have gone horribly wrong.

I love the dragons in this book, especially with that twist!

I'm really glad I got the chance to read this series!
