Night Night, Valentine is a children’s book written by Amy Parker.

This little book geared towards toddlers, showcases cute panda characters in love-themed scenes, and reminds children of the different ways they can experience love in their lives.

This is a very simple Valentine's book for your littlest reader. It goes through lots of Valentine's day vocabulary. I did wish the order of the story made more sense to the natural sequence of things. I thought it was choppy and didn't flow well.

This is a very sweet little book with vivid illustrations to capture a little one's attention. All the animals in the story are very cute and it is a quick and simple read for bedtime - great for sleepy parents! I love to see God's love tied into a Valentine book. "Gifts of love are all around If we'll just stop to look; God's promises fill up the sky, Just as they fill His book." After saying night night to grandparents, Mommy, Daddy, God, friends and various other things, the book finishes with "one big hug Before I close my eyes. night night, Valentine" and I can't think of a sweeter way to put my little valentine to bed.

Thanks, NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for sharing this in exchange for an honest review!

Thank you NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Publishing for the ARC of Night, Night Valentine by Amy Parker.

Night, Night Valentine is the perfect blend of a bedtime story and a Valentine's Day read. Read along with a family of pandas and squirrels as they celebrate Valentine's with those they love.

I read this with my five year old nanny kid. She really liked it! Her favorite part was when the pandas made cookies and the little one said "I just hope Mommy doesn't see how many that I ate". She really liked the illustrations too, she thought they were gorgeous!

Night Night, Valentine is yet another wonderful story for young children written by Amy Parker and illustrated by Virginia Allyn. Just like the other books in this series, this books is short and sweet with beautiful pictures that will grab the attention of the young child. This story follows a panda family as they decorate, pick flowers, make cookies and make hearts.

I just love this story, it will be perfect to read to the grandchildren for Valentine’s Day. The pictures are so nice, and once again those little mice are blended into the beautiful pictures. The story is the perfect length to keep the little child’s attention, especially with finding things in the pictures. This is a great story to help the little child learn ways to give love to others, whether it be by writing notes, allowing their mom alone time or snuggling with dad. While all these things are great to give, a hugs is the best gift of all before bed.

When I noticed this book was available on Netgalley, I knew I had to have it as a special treat to read to my grandchildren this Valentine’s season. I thank the publisher and NetGalley for offering this complimentary ebook. This is my honest review.

This book felt like “Goodnight moon” meets gratitude. It was such a beautiful story about family and taking the time to appreciate what matters with practical applications for the kiddos who read it and heartwarming wisdom for the parents, too. With beautiful illustrations and poetic stanzas, it’s a perfect Valentine’s Day book to add to your rotation and make a new family tradition. Five stars!

Night Night, Valentine by Amy Parker is an adorable tale of a panda family who is getting ready to celebrate Valentines. This book shows how to celebrate the many things we love and how we can celebrate loved ones with notes, treats, and hugs. It does have a dose of religion in it and discusses God's promises filling up the sky as they fill up His book. I was unaware that there was a religious element and was hoping it would be a cute Valentine book to use in the classroom, but it would not be appropriate in many classrooms.

Night Night, Valentine by Amy Parker is a sweet, little, picture book to enjoy this Valentine's Day!

For one, the illustrations in this book are colourful and fun! They make you enjoy reading the story and make it more engaging.

We have our panda friends setting up for Valentine's Day - there's decorating, smiles and fun to go around. They end up saying "Night, Night" to a lot of different things throughout the book. There is a pinch of religion in this book, so buyer beware if you don't want to bring up God to your young ones.

Overall, this is cute and engaging book to read for children zero to four years old.

Three out of five stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

This is a cute book with a. good message to say thank you and goodnight to all the things we love-regardless of the season. The illustrations are vivid and the pandas are so cute. I liked the repetition of the "night night" but was confused on why the characters were saying good night in the middle of the day according to the illustrations. It was nice to see the panda children stop to thank their parents especially the mother. Overall this has a great message.

I read this to my 2 year old son, and he loved the vivid pictures. After each page, he would really take the pictures in and tell me what he saw. The book is simple and has a great story to it!

Night Night, Valentine by Amy Parker is absolutely charming. It follows the adventures of a family of panda bears with cameos of a family of mice as they are preparing for Valentine's Day, The panda bear family tell multiple items "night, night" after completing the associated activities.

As a busy mom, I especially loved the page where the mother's were recognized. It says "Even mommies need a break from everything they do - I'll run a big 'ol bubbly bath to tell her I love you. Night, night Mommy."

I would be remiss if I did not mention the absolutely adorable illustrations. The illustrator has created sweet and lovable panda bears with great attention to detail to keep little ones engaged.
My fifteen year old daughter was here during bedtime routine reading for her four year old brother. She kept pointing out things to him. This book truly has details that will continue to make it a favorite long after the holiday has passed. Your little ones will reach for it again and again.

The book will keep little ones engaged with the colorful illustrations and repetition of saying "night, night." My almost four year old was enthralled.

Plus, outside of Valentine's day the ideas work well to recognize and say good night to all the things kids love. Including, God who all love stems from.

This is a cute story for Valentine’s Day, similar to Goodnight Moon. Young children would probably enjoy it. It does reference love from above and God, so just be aware of that. Beautiful illustrations.
